About: I’ve taken care of neighborhood pets since the age of 10. Cats will follow me home while walking my dog. Sometimes they just walk with me and go back home while others will try to stay! Some of the cats stop to see if there are any treats and give me the slow blink if I’m looking out the window! I adopted a dog 2 years ago and he was twice the weight he should have been. Through walking and better nutrition and habits, he is happy, healthy and acting like a much younger dog! He offers me a hip bump, when I pick up the leash! I am not planning to provide pet care at my home unless it is an emergency. My home is safe for animals. It is both dog and cat proofed. We have learned though the years and each pet has had different needs.

About: I have owned dogs and cats since 1985 and was on a K9 Search and Rescue team for 18+ years so I have worked with all types of dogs and have a lot of experience with training. I currently work outside the home M-F 9-5 but can work from home upon request. Weekends I am home the majority of the time and spend most of my time hanging out with my own dogs (two labs) I have hosted a variety of dogs in my home including corgis, labs, goldens, frenchies, pitties, mals, and other assorted breeds. I treat everyone's pets just like my own - lots of treats, snuggles, couch naps, and of course sleeping on the bed if they want. Both of my labs are extremely friendly and love pretty much all dogs, but I do have experience sitting some dogs who preferred to be separate from my boys via either baby gates or kennels (depending on what the dog is comfortable with). I have a large fenced in backyard and a smaller fenced in front yard. The backyard has a doggie door that allows the dogs to go in and out at will, although when I am not home, I do not give any dogs access to the yard (even my own dogs as a safety issue).

About: Hello! My name is Izzy, I’m 21 years old, and I’m going into my senior year at Penn State while working at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp. I’m so excited to start my Rover journey! I’ve grown up with having dogs in my household all my life, from a 4 1/2 lb. Chihuahua to a chunky Toy Fox Terrier to a mighty but loving Rottweiler-Black Lab mix. I’ve also been tasked with taking care of my neighbor’s and friend’s dogs over the years, whether that be stopping over to give them food, bathroom breaks, and cuddles, or even staying overnight over the span of a week so the dog(s) don’t feel alone. Therefore, I’m hoping to be the best fit for you, too! Outside of dogs, I love to be in our pool when the weather is warm and being able to do so with my family, pick up new crafting hobbies like scrapbooking or embroidery, and go to concerts of a variety of artists (43 concerts and counting!), most recently being 5 Seconds of Summer. I can’t wait to start this opportunity and hopefully bring some relief to someone in need of dog-helping needs! I’m currently working part-time at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp., and the schedule always fluctuates between 4-6 hour shifts. I don’t have set days, but I’m typically scheduled one weekday and the Friday-Sundays, However, I have plenty of time outside of those shifts and always accommodate around them to ensure that all the dog’s needs are met. At home, I assist in letting our dogs play in our fenced-in backyard, giving them treats when they’ve behaved or done a trick we’ve taught them (sit and “paw”), taking them on neighborhood walks when it’s nice outside, assuring that their food and water are filled, and playing with them to get their zoomies out before everyone starts winding down for the night. Outside of my home, if there is not a fenced-in backyard, I’ve taken the dog(s) outside on leashes for bathroom purposes, as well as do all actions mentioned above from what I do at home. Some houses have also had puppy pads when necessary, and I always take appropriate measures to clean up any messes and re-lay down a fresh puppy pad.

About: I've been a pet owner since 1990. Would love to help out fun dogs in need of attention. Recently relocated back to my hometown and can't have a pet of my own currently. Someday, again... I've just relocated back to Ellwood City and look forward to opportunities to network with new clients and their pets. I've been inactive for the last few years because of work responsibilities, but I'm really flexible right now until I find permanent work again in the area. I cannot bring pets to my home though. I will follow your instructions to the T. I can't offer in home services where I live, but will do as instructed so that your pet enjoys my visit. Just let me know any do's and don'ts and I can take it from there.

“Vickie is awesome! From the first meet and greet my girls loved her . Sammie and Sasha don’t really pay attention to people that come to our house, but they took to Vickie from the first meeting and that is the reason we hired her to stay with our fur babies. She kept us updated throughout our whole time we were gone and let us know how things were going every day. She even washed and remade the bed so I didn’t have to do that when we got back! That was an unexpected surprise and very much appreciated! We will have Vickie sit for us again! She’s the best!”

About: I have two dogs of my own and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets with different needs and personalities. One of my dogs currently suffers from seizures, giving me experience monitoring health conditions, recognizing symptoms, administering medications as directed, and providing calm, attentive care. “Bri and her partner Jake did such an excellent job caring for our older dog with separation anxiety. From the start of the meet and greet I knew that they would be able to give him the patient care and attention we wanted him to have while we were away. They were detail oriented and asked thoughtful questions in order to understand his needs and routines. Before the stay, they were responsive and communicative making sure to confirm all the details. During the stay they provided the perfect amount of updates (including photos and videos) so we were assured he was doing well but still able to be present during our trip. We felt at ease knowing that he was well cared for and could tell that they were doing everything they could to help him feel comfortable while we were away. The cherry on top was that we came home to a clean house! They went above and beyond to clean up after themselves and leave our home better than they found it. Would definitely recommend them and will be booking with them again for future stays.”

I've taken care of dogs for over 20 years, a senior dog for 6+ years, administrating medicine, cleaning up messes, assisting getting around the house; cats for 10 years, ferrets, old and senior, for 12 years, and chinchillas for about 8 years. I also have experience with Guinea pigs. I follow instructions, I'm never late, and will go the extra mile to ensure your pet is getting the best service I can provide. Caring for or tending to your pet would have priority over anything else, and will be taken as seriously as I would as "normal job". I feed, bath, prepare and administer medication, clean up messes, litter boxes, and puppy pads; also know how to ensure your home is safe for your animals, like moving thing to higher places, block/gate off dangerous areas, restricting them to safe/play zones (if needed) within the house, have a variety of toys for them to keep entertained and play with them myself.
