About: For the past seven years, I had the privilege of sharing my life with my dog, Agatha, whom I adopted when she was around seven years old. She recently passed away at an estimated 14 years old after battling cancer. Caring for Agatha, especially during the last few months of her life, taught me patience, compassion, and how to meet a dog exactly where they are. As she got older, she needed more hands-on support. Whether it was helping her stand, carrying her when her body wouldn't cooperate (all 55 pounds of her!), or hand-feeding her because that's how she was most comfortable, I learned that every dog has unique needs and deserves care that respects their personality. Agatha was fiercely independent, so I always tried to give her as much dignity and choice as possible while making sure she felt safe and loved. While I'm not ready to adopt another dog just yet, I truly miss having one in my life. That's what brought me to Rover. About: I have owned dogs and cats since 1985 and was on a K9 Search and Rescue team for 18+ years so I have worked with all types of dogs and have a lot of experience with training. I currently work outside the home M-F 9-5 but can work from home upon request. Weekends I am home the majority of the time and spend most of my time hanging out with my own dogs (two labs) I have hosted a variety of dogs in my home including corgis, labs, goldens, frenchies, pitties, mals, and other assorted breeds. I treat everyone's pets just like my own - lots of treats, snuggles, couch naps, and of course sleeping on the bed if they want. Both of my labs are extremely friendly and love pretty much all dogs, but I do have experience sitting some dogs who preferred to be separate from my boys via either baby gates or kennels (depending on what the dog is comfortable with). I have a large fenced in backyard and a smaller fenced in front yard. The backyard has a doggie door that allows the dogs to go in and out at will, although when I am not home, I do not give any dogs access to the yard (even my own dogs as a safety issue).

About: I had a dog for 15 years that passed away a couple years ago now. I have been taking care of my family and friends dogs/cats for years now! I work from home Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and I am gone on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from about 10-4, so I am almost always home aside from the occasional errands. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, I can always run home in the middle of the day if a potty break is needed. Accidents are ok too. Mine has had a few over the years. Your dog will never be in trouble if this happens. You won’t have to worry about your dogs when they are with me. They will be treated like family. I work from home, so your pets will rarely be left alone. When they are, it is just for brief periods for when I running errands. I have a fenced in yard and w very friendly fur baby of my own. I can let them out frequently and always supervise outside even though my yard is fenced. I am able to feed them if they are here during meal time. I will just need to know if your dog is food possessive so I can make sure they eat separately from my dog. Unfortunately I can’t leave your dogs food down throughout the day because my dog will eat it.
About: I've owned Golden Retrievers my entire life, groom them, trim them, train them, treat them! There's plenty of room for them to stay active whether it's inside or out. I'm home weekly with my Goldens and hangout with them all day. I have plenty of free time to add some extra company to the mix. I have 2 Floors and space. To keep them separate or together. About: I am very flexible with hours. I am an active person and happy to play with your pet and walk them as much as needed. I grew up in the cold, so weather doesn't bother me walking or driving. I also am willing to work with your hours and do what is best for your pet. I also am always happy to send pictures and check in so you know they are living your best life. I can be flexible but I am a morning person so early walks are okay with me. I can also drop in easily through the day with little issue. I grew up with large dogs (lover (100lbs) and 2 cats, and am the current owner of a Bernese Mountain dog who I love. I love all animals but tend to lean to bigger dogs. I like cats butdon't currently own one due to my husband. I am newer to rover but have spent a lot of time caring for my own pets but also dog sitting for others in their homes over the last 7 years.
About: I grew up with a border collie, and used to sit for numerous friends dogs. I absolutely adore dogs, and I am experienced in administering medication to them as well. I have an 8 month mini labradoodle puppy, so I have plenty of experience with potty training. I currently work two overnights a week, so I am available during the week, and will always have availability for a short notice sit, as I know sometimes things come up. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have numerous runners and will always be outside to make sure your dog is safe and has water. I currently have a mini labradoodle that I adore. She loves dogs, and is on a leash as well. My top goal is for your puppy to feel safe, happy, loved, and right at home!

About: Hello! My name is Izzy, I’m 21 years old, and I’m going into my senior year at Penn State while working at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp. I’m so excited to start my Rover journey! I’ve grown up with having dogs in my household all my life, from a 4 1/2 lb. Chihuahua to a chunky Toy Fox Terrier to a mighty but loving Rottweiler-Black Lab mix. I’ve also been tasked with taking care of my neighbor’s and friend’s dogs over the years, whether that be stopping over to give them food, bathroom breaks, and cuddles, or even staying overnight over the span of a week so the dog(s) don’t feel alone. Therefore, I’m hoping to be the best fit for you, too! Outside of dogs, I love to be in our pool when the weather is warm and being able to do so with my family, pick up new crafting hobbies like scrapbooking or embroidery, and go to concerts of a variety of artists (43 concerts and counting!), most recently being 5 Seconds of Summer. I can’t wait to start this opportunity and hopefully bring some relief to someone in need of dog-helping needs! I’m currently working part-time at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp., and the schedule always fluctuates between 4-6 hour shifts. I don’t have set days, but I’m typically scheduled one weekday and the Friday-Sundays, However, I have plenty of time outside of those shifts and always accommodate around them to ensure that all the dog’s needs are met. At home, I assist in letting our dogs play in our fenced-in backyard, giving them treats when they’ve behaved or done a trick we’ve taught them (sit and “paw”), taking them on neighborhood walks when it’s nice outside, assuring that their food and water are filled, and playing with them to get their zoomies out before everyone starts winding down for the night. Outside of my home, if there is not a fenced-in backyard, I’ve taken the dog(s) outside on leashes for bathroom purposes, as well as do all actions mentioned above from what I do at home. Some houses have also had puppy pads when necessary, and I always take appropriate measures to clean up any messes and re-lay down a fresh puppy pad.
About: i have taken care of animals all my life from dogs, cats, lizards, and birds i will make your animal feel loved just like if it was my own pet im currently working part time at a dog grooming place so im not busy so i have time to walk and take care of your animals when needed. i have a huge yard for my six dogs where we go out when it’s nice out to play ball and run to get some energy out of them and we have a separate room for their crates so when we leave we put them in crates so they don’t get into anything

About: I have been taking care of dogs for years as I’ve trained my own dog to be a service dog when she started as a rambunctious puppy. I have had dog aggressive dogs who I’ve helped them be able to overcome those issues. I as well am able to be very active and can handle large dogs as I have a mastiff and Great Dane of my own. I currently work part time in retail. But would love to get out and get another job that I will enjoy. So I will have a functional schedule that I can always work around with to cooperate with my clients. I will only be going to my clients’ homes which will make sure that your pet is comfortable and I can work with those who may have dog aggressive dogs. I have experience with them and use positive reinforcement with treats for bad behavior.

About: For the past seven years, I had the privilege of sharing my life with my dog, Agatha, whom I adopted when she was around seven years old. She recently passed away at an estimated 14 years old after battling cancer. Caring for Agatha, especially during the last few months of her life, taught me patience, compassion, and how to meet a dog exactly where they are. As she got older, she needed more hands-on support. Whether it was helping her stand, carrying her when her body wouldn't cooperate (all 55 pounds of her!), or hand-feeding her because that's how she was most comfortable, I learned that every dog has unique needs and deserves care that respects their personality. Agatha was fiercely independent, so I always tried to give her as much dignity and choice as possible while making sure she felt safe and loved. While I'm not ready to adopt another dog just yet, I truly miss having one in my life. That's what brought me to Rover. About: I have owned dogs and cats since 1985 and was on a K9 Search and Rescue team for 18+ years so I have worked with all types of dogs and have a lot of experience with training. I currently work outside the home M-F 9-5 but can work from home upon request. Weekends I am home the majority of the time and spend most of my time hanging out with my own dogs (two labs) I have hosted a variety of dogs in my home including corgis, labs, goldens, frenchies, pitties, mals, and other assorted breeds. I treat everyone's pets just like my own - lots of treats, snuggles, couch naps, and of course sleeping on the bed if they want. Both of my labs are extremely friendly and love pretty much all dogs, but I do have experience sitting some dogs who preferred to be separate from my boys via either baby gates or kennels (depending on what the dog is comfortable with). I have a large fenced in backyard and a smaller fenced in front yard. The backyard has a doggie door that allows the dogs to go in and out at will, although when I am not home, I do not give any dogs access to the yard (even my own dogs as a safety issue).

About: I'm a huge animal lover - big and small! I've had dogs and cats my whole life. We have a sweet cat who absolutely loves every dog that comes through our home. We currently have a Great Dane and Great Pyrenees as well as chickens, 1 guinea pig, 2 rabbits and fish. I'm all about making sure our babies are happy and healthy and living the best life we can provide to them.
