About: Hello! I have been taking care of various animals (dogs, cats, rabbits) nearly my entire life! I have been a dog walker/sitter for others fur babies since I was in high school. I have experience with all different types of quirky personalities and health needs. I adopted my Nellie girl (cocker spaniel) in 2017 and she has not left my side since! We love staying active and she loves to cuddle. Nellie is comfortable around all friendly dogs and cats, and is always up for a game of tug of war. We added summit to the family last year and she is an absolute sweetheart. I currently work from home all through the week so I am available for plenty of walks, attention and playtime in the yard all day long. I have a large rural yard (no fence) and energetic pups to keep yours busy! Any dogs in my home has free rein of the house(couch, bed) but can easily be crated if desired. If preferred I have a spare room (I call the doggy room) for senior pups or dogs that just may need some alone time.

About: My husband and I work from home full time currently, are flexible, we adore dogs, and have 15 acres and would love to hang with your pup(s)! We walk several times a day, enjoy staying active hiking and outdoors, and staying at home. We have had dogs most of our lives. My husband has had dogs when he was growing up. I had a dog when I was growing up and we always take care of Rover and family's dogs when folks are out of town. We have a single-story home on 15 acres close to many trails. We do not have any dogs/cats of our own. We can pickup/dropoff pets.

About: I have more than 10 years of experience working with dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments. I have interned under licensed veterinarians, volunteered with countless animal rescue groups, was employed as a shelter manager for a no-kill animal shelter, and have worked at two different doggy daycare centers. I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and have completely fallen in love with the problem-solving aspects of dog training and how it allows me to help owners and their pets live happier, less frustrating, lives together! I do have a full time job and an adolescent Border Collie, but am available for overnight stays in your home or in mine and will give all my extra time and attention to your pup during my stay! My goal is for your dog to hardly miss you while you are gone and to keep their routine as close to normal as possible during your absence. I do currently have my own dog, Dash, who sometimes accompanied me on my overnight stays if your dog wants a playmate! I have been fostering dogs through local rescue groups and animal shelters for several years and have become accustomed to many different kinds of dogs in that time. Why I love dog sitting... I've loved dogs all my life! I got my first dog when I was 6, a black lab named Holly, and a Bichon Frise, Dixie, the dog who was considered by every member of my family to really be "mine" when I was 9. The years when I was in college and away from my dogs was hard and as soon as I moved out on my own, but couldn't yet afford my own dog, I started pet-sitting and dog walking for friends and neighbors. Since then, I have longed to have a dog in my house at all times, but wasn’t immediately financially ready for my own forever dog. So I have been volunteering at a couple of local animal shelters as a Foster Mom for dogs in need of a temporary home, and a little extra TLC, before they are adopted into their forever homes! As a professional dog trainer, I get to make my own schedule, which provides immense flexibility for walking dogs and doing drop in visits for pet care!! I have a fenced in yard and a dog who loves to play! Dash, our Border Collie, often comes with me to overnight stays. When I come to your house to visit your pets, I’m always sure to leave the key where I found it and be sure the house is secured before I leave.

About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life. Never have had less than 3 dogs at once. Prior to relocating to North Carolina, I worked full-time for an established South Tampa pet-sitting/ vacation care company. I am available on a part-time and vacation basis. I work full-time from home so I am able to give your pup all the attention needed while they are in my home. I try to keep your pup's routine as close to normal as I possibly can. I want them to feel comfortable and relaxed and I want you as a pet parent, to feel that same way. Your pup will be well taken care of and be treated as if they were one of my own family members. Available for Biltmore pet care as well! If you are in from out of town and want to tour the Biltmore house, I’ll come pick up your dog prior to estate entry at the ticket or gatehouse, take them for a walk off property while you enjoy the house tour and drop them back off to you when you are finished. 2($60) or 4($110)-hour care visit available on the weekends only. If an extended time period is needed, we can discuss on an individual basis to see if my schedule permits. Oral/ Injections Medications I'm familiar with oral medications. Additionally, I had a diabetic dog and had to administer insulin shots 2x daily. While that was some time ago, I am confident with a refresher conversation (should your pup require shots) I can handle it. Special needs/Senior pups I have experience in caring for older/ senior/special needs pups. Unfortunately, my handsome man passed away last year but he didn't have the use of his back legs and required assistance in going outside. I'm comfortable with handling chest harnesses, wheelchairs etc if necessary. In addition, I have cared for many senior pups and I understand the health issues that come with age and they may not be as mobile as they once were. Please let me know if any such issues exist. I work full-time from home during the week and can offer care on the weekends when I am not on shift at the fire department. I have a farm property with the larger property fenced in but the smaller yard is not fenced in. I do have one dog and she is not friendly with other dogs. However, she is excellent with baby gates (my fiance has a dog and this is how we manage our house. There is never aggression through the gate) and I will always take an extra precaution in separating her from your dog via another room entirely or a baby gate!

I will definitely be bring Yuki back!!! 10/10 recommend. This was my first time doing a doggy daycare and I was very nervous about leaving him all day. However, Stefani was really good at communicating with me. She sent messages and pictures all day. He had so much fun that he didn’t cry when I picked him up as he usually does when I arrive home. Once home he crashed and slept really good. Stefani’s backyard and the great company he had was perfect for him to play and run. Thank you for making this such a great experience for us. Don’t hesitate and book with her!

Our dog Mint came to us as an adult rescue with a tender heart and big separation anxiety. She trembles and cries to ride in a car, uncertain where she’s being taken. On her third visit with Brody, as soon as we turned into his driveway she quieted and started wagging. As I drove away, the rearview mirror showed her dancing around his legs and eagerly running to his front door. Priceless peace of mind!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 16. I also grew up with 4 medium sized dogs at a time. I have always had a love for animals and love to meet other fur babies. I have been able to follow feeding instructions and if needed have followed giving medications. Just a heads up I will not be accepting bookings from June on until I am sure where I will be after college. I’m currently a senior in college with only 2 classes and 2 labs, so I will have a lot of time to spend with your pups! I have a small, fenced yard and I have one yellow lab at home that is very dog friendly. I will follow up with you anytime I arrive at your house and will provide a recap of my time with your animal. I will follow all instructions given to me ahead of time to ensure you receive the best care for your furry friend. I will treat them as if they were my own and spend so much time ensuring they enjoy there time with me!

About: I have volunteered at an animal rescue sanctuary for 10+ years. As a caretaker my duties at the sanctuary require demanding physical labor, housekeeping, and responsibilities of supervision over animals and other volunteers. We had over 100+ different types of animals and always have been around dogs and cats! They are my joy! I work 2 full time jobs but I have mornings, evenings and weekends open! I am looking for something that will fit into that kind of schedule. I have no animals at home. It is safe and a very clean environment. I am the most respectful and will aways listen to what you and your pets need.

About: I can board small dogs at our house, and I can sit large and small dogs and horses, chickens and just about any other animals at your house. (We just built a new house with hardwood floors and no fenced yard!) I have loved and trained dogs, cats, and horses since I was a young child. I love and respect all animals, and I get along with most of them right from the get-go. I am retired, healthy, and like to get out and about. I do expect pets to behave, and have the utmost respect for the boundaries you have set for your pet. Some years back, I trained our brown mutt family pet to play the role of Sandy in the HS performance of Annie. She brought the house down at curtain bow! I believe in training animals by showing them respect and being very clear about what it is I am asking of them. So let's go! I want to meet your dog!

I was a bit nervous about using a sitter service for the first time. But after just one day, seeing the pure joy on Shelby's face when I picked her up made it all worth it! She was so tired when we got home, which was evidence of how much fun she had. Lori is wonderful; she keeps me updated with sweet texts, pictures, and videos throughout the day! I will definitely be using Rover AND Lori again!!

Samantha and her daughter were EXCELLENT! We are from out of town, and were visiting relatives in Greeneville. We had to find a sitter for 2 days (and a little last minute) but fortunately Samantha was happy to take on our diabetic dog, Abby. We were so thankful to be able to find a sitter who is also adept at medication administration. Samantha is so good with animals! She was very careful to introduce our little dog to her own fur babies to eliminate any stress. It was nice to receive the many photo updates that Samantha sent during the day. When we picked her up, Abby looked and acted very happy, calm and content. We were able to relax and have a wonderful time with our relatives knowing Abby was in such wonderful hands. I would not hesitate to have Samantha care for Abby the next time we are in Greeneville. Thank you Samantha!

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Flag Pond

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 257 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Flag Pond. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Flag Pond commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 257 sitters in Flag Pond, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Don't let your 9-to-5 stop you from being a great pet parent. When you're heading to work, drop off your beloved pet with a loving dog sitter near you. Your dog will get the love and care they're used to at home, and you'll get photo updates and the peace of mind that comes from finding great care for your pet. We're proud to offer a wide range of pet care, including puppy day care and pet day care for all kinds of pets. We know you love your pets, but you can't always be there, which is where our loving sitters come in. Forget kennels, find a loving neighbor who will give your dog the one-on-one attention they deserve. That way, when you head to work, you know your dog's in good hands.
