Additionally, I had a diabetic dog and had to administer insulin shots 2x daily. While that was some time ago, I am confident with a refresher conversation (should your pup require shots) I can handle it. Special needs/Senior pups I have experience in caring for older/ senior/special needs pups. Unfortunately, my handsome man passed away last year but he didn't have the use of his back legs and required assistance in going outside. I'm comfortable with handling chest harnesses, wheelchairs etc if necessary. In addition, I have cared for many senior pups and I understand the health issues that come with age and they may not be as mobile as they once were. Please let me know if any such issues exist. I work full-time from home during the week and can offer care on the weekends when I am not on shift at the fire department. I have a farm property with the larger property fenced in but the smaller yard is not fenced in. I do have one dog and she is not friendly with other dogs. However, she is excellent with baby gates (my fiance has a dog and this is how we manage our house. There is never aggression through the gate) and I will always take an extra precaution in separating her from your dog via another room entirely or a baby gate!

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, I grew up with dogs, cats, pocket pets, birds, horses, chickens, ducks, goats, pigs. About: I grew up on a farm so I have a lot of experience helping and sitting various different animals but especially dogs! I’m very good with high energy dogs or pups with anxiety! About: I am a lifetime dog owner, I currently have two dogs. Rusty is a Red heeler that came from a rescue, Gunner is a lab mix that was also a rescue. I have a cat named freya who was rescued from a horrible situation, I have 3 bunnies that are 4 years old. I am in the process of becoming a veterinarian. I was a vet tech for 10 months. My passion is help any animal in need. I have worked with all breeds with different health issues. I’m very patient with skittish, afraid or nervous pets. I have did some dog training on and off over the years. I have walked several dogs in my community. I have also house sat/pet sat while families have went on vacation. I love all animals as if they were my own. I donate every month to local shelters to help any fur baby in need. I would love to give your fur baby all the attention, play time in the world. My pets come first before anything. As my fur babies get fed once I wake up, and again a hour before bed. They get let out about 4-5 times a day. They have plenty of play time throughout the day. I have open availability to take care of your fur babies. I do not have a fenced in yard. I walk my dogs in the yard or at the park. When it’s play time there able to be off the leash and run around the back yard. I have some clients that have fenced in backyards and, some where the dogs need to be walked.

About: I have volunteered at an animal rescue sanctuary for 10+ years. As a caretaker my duties at the sanctuary require demanding physical labor, housekeeping, and responsibilities of supervision over animals and other volunteers. I love animals but don't have any pets because of my traveling lifestyle, so I love getting to bond with little cuties all over. Some of my loves (besides animals) are dancing, traveling, photography, art projects, hiking, being in nature, and fixing up Scooby (my Honda Element that I've turned into a "Hotelement"). I've traveled all over the world until COVID hit, but since then have traveled across the country twice and am so appreciating the beauty of my own country. The thing I have the hardest time with is saying goodbye to the little ones when it's time to go! I work for myself part-time on zoom (so I'm home a lot), so I set my own hours. This way I can work around the needs of your pet. I love cuddling and playing with pets. If it's allowed, I love having them up on the couch with me when I watch a movie, and don't mind them sleeping in my bed at night.
About: Please note before considering me: I do not accept any requests for dogs not friendly with other dogs. This is because I have two very friendly/happy pugs and one amazing golden retriever, who will need to participate in any all-day or overnight care I've had dogs my entire life and love all breeds, personalities, shapes, and sizes. I work from home, so they'll be in good hands! Again, your dog will need to be OK around with other dog for any overnight stays. I am flexible with your schedule, detail-oriented, and reliable. About: I’ve been taking care of animals for about 10 years now. I have experience from bottle feeding new born kittens to our giant German Shepard’s! I spend the entire day hanging out and playing with the pups. We have an area for them to play as much as they want. I’m home all day to make sure your fur baby has everything they need to stay happy and well taken care of. We have a crazy amount of toys, outside we have a hurdle jump, and tennis ball launcher. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was five years old. I still distinctly remember the breeder of the first dog I ever owned - a chocolate lab named Ginger - looking me in the eye after seeing I was apprehensive about the dogs and telling me, "Son, some day this dog will be the best friend you ever had." Ginger and I went everywhere together. I've had dogs and cats virtually my whole life, and the animals love me. While I am employed full time, I work in a hybrid setting that includes roughly 3 remote days per week, so I can be pet sitting on site and developing as close a band as I can to alleviate the babies' separation anxiety. I aim to please - if you'd prefer for your fur baby to be crated at night, then I will make sure s/he does that. My only job, other than to make the babies' experience as smooth as possible, is to follow the directions laid out by the owners.
