“Alexia was wonderful with our dog, Milo! He was a little nervous at first, but she was so patient and gave him the time he needed to warm up to her. She provided drop-in visits, sent detailed updates and plenty of pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was professional, reliable, and clearly cared about making sure Milo was comfortable and well cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be booking Alexia for all of our future dog-sitting needs. Highly recommend! 🐾”

“Armani is such a blessing! She loved on our little baby while we were on a family vacation after our sitter canceled last minute. She cleaned him and care for him like he was her own. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ARMANI AND I PERSONALLY WILL HIRE HER AGAIN!!!!”

About: I’ve always been an active dog lover since I was a little girl. I’ve always helped my neighbors by walking and watching their dogs while gone. I have 3 dogs of my own and have personally trained all of them since they were puppies. I was even able to train my blind and deaf dog which was pretty difficult but I was able to house train him and even taught him a couple tricks! I make sure to care for every dog I watch with so much love and act like they were one of my own. I’m working a part time job which allows me to spend a lot of time with my doggies and hopefully your dog! I don’t work tuesdays either so if needed I can spend as much time as you want with them during those days. I have a fenced yard that provides a lot of space for your dog and mine to play in! If needed to, I can provide a private room for your dog if you’re wanting your dog to be put in a crate. If you’re wanting me to just check in on your doggie at your house I certainly can! I have stayed over at my clients house as well as visit daily between 2-3 times a day.
“Kamryn took care of our two cats for a week and was great about getting over there to see them. This was her first experience with cat sitting, which has some different requirements than dog sitting, obviously. She always sent pictures of our fuzzballs after she was done, which was great to see they were in good hands. Thank you so much!”

“Emma is great She preformed her drop ins for our precious pups Rudy and Princess Lulu as requested. She took them on walks and loved on my way them while we were away from home. She took care of there needs in our home also. This is our second booking and would love to have here back.”

“Cassidy is great with Brin and Tunie. She's part of the pack now. I appreciate her willingness to go above and beyond, and her care for my dog and cat. My family has been going through some struggles and it's great to know that the pets are well cared for while I go tend to family members. Her flexibility with schedules and needs is amazing.”

“Brianna was great and very accommodating. She provided great communications throught the week and we could tell our companions were well taken care of. We really enjoyed the numerous photos to allow us tobsee how well they were doing. Our minds were certainly at ease allowing us to enjoy our time away from home. Thanks Brianna!”

“Jamielynn is a LIFESAVER!!! I will be forever grateful for her assistance, she went so far above and beyone!! We can HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend her and completely trust her with taking care of our pack. We were going on vacation for a week, we had a sitter already booked and ready, but that lady backed out at 930 the night before our early morning flight. We had to scramble to find someone that we hoped would be good. Jaimelynn swooped in and saved our vacation for us. She came over that evening late to do a meet and greet and was sooo sweet with our 4 dogs and 2 cats. She was so willing to help out in this very last minute situation. The whole week she came over and hung out with our babies, played with them, made sure they had everything they needed. She even rearranged her own schedule to make sure she got over to let everyone out to go potty. She was amazing at communicating and sending lots of pics and videos. I can not say enough about how much we appreciate Jaimelynn and her wonderful care!!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Five Points. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
