“Teri took great care of our Rosie for day care for 2 days. Rosie was so excited to go hang out with her new friends on the 2nd day, I knew she'd felt very comfortable and welcome there. I would recommend Teri 100%, and will leave Rosie in her care in the future, without any hesitation!”
“My pup LOVES going to Vimonlucks house. She didn’t want to leave when I came to pick her up today. She’s very sweet and takes great care of my girl. She loves running around with Vimonluck’s dog. Will definitely take my dog back.”

“Samson is our baby, and I felt like a kindergarten mom dropping my kid off for the first time. It was very re-assuring to receive pictures that showed Samson playing. It was even better to receive a video! Thank you so much for caring for our boy!”
About: Hi! I’ve had over 10 years of experience caring for and working with both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I have experience with basic training, administering lots of patience and love, and making pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’ve also helped foster pregnant female animals and cared for newborn litters, so I understand the extra attention, gentleness, and responsibility that some pets may need. Your pets will be treated like family in my care, and I’m happy to provide updates, photos, playtime, walks, and plenty of affection to keep you at ease while you’re away! 🐾 I work from home so I am actively able to provide daily outside playtime and potty time during the day and some much needed sun bathes for the sun bathers. I am able to provide a good feed schedule as well treat times! It is a pleasure to be able to work from home and effectively care to the needs of each furbaby! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. With over 10 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities, I understand how important it is to have someone you can truly trust with your furry family member. I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets can feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and individual needs to ensure every pet receives personalized care, patience, and plenty of affection. I believe communication is extremely important, so I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and check ins for peace of mind. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, anxious, young, or senior, I strive to make them feel secure, loved, and at home in my care. 🐾

“Diana was a great sitter for Benito! She was kind and attentive, and kept me updated throughout his first day there. We look forward to booking with Diana again!”

“My little Louie absolutely loves staying with Jennifer and looks forward to attending four days a week. She is nurturing, attentive, and highly skilled at managing multiple responsibilities. Jennifer made our first week of daycare a very positive experience by providing thoughtful updates throughout the day, which was both comforting and reassuring. I highly recommend Jennifer to anyone seeking reliable and compassionate care for their pets!”

“Tabitha is absolutely amazing. I booked the wrong service by accident and she immediately helped to find a solution. Such a life saver! I received pictures and updates which made me feel at ease. I highly recommend and will use again.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and currently have three small fur babies that I treat like my own children (yes, birthday parties included 🥳🐾). Two of my dogs have health conditions, and my 13-year-old Chihuahua takes daily medication, so I’m very comfortable with giving meds and providing extra attention when needed. I’m used to being hands-on with daily care and making sure each dog feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for based on their individual needs. I’ve recently graduated college, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m able to be home throughout the day. Pet care is already a daily part of my routine with my three babies, including one senior who requires medication twice a day, so I’m very used to staying consistent with feeding schedules, medications, and overall care. I also enjoy going on daily walks, so if your dogs love walks as much as I do, we’ll be a great match! getting my steps in every day is a non-negotiable for me 😂🐾 I live in a house with a fenced backyard, which gives pets a safe space to spend time outside. I have three small, friendly dogs (a Maltipoo and two Chihuahuas), so visiting pets may have the option to interact with them if it’s a good fit. That said, interactions are completely optional and always supervised, and I’m also happy to keep pets separate if that’s preferred. I prioritize safety and comfort for all pets and make sure everyone is properly introduced and monitored. My dogs are fed once a day with treats here and there.
“We love Jaylon! He’s extremely organized. I really love how clear his policies and procedures are. I love how he asks questions about how to safely and comfortably accommodate my fur baby!! He maintained consistent communication and he provided a Rover card for us!! Thank you so much! We can’t wait for our next stay!!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was very young. Both our family pups have passed on through the rainbow bridge, while we miss them we are taking a break after 15 years of being dog owners. I love dogs and am a dog person. I have worked with the arlington animal shelter & search one rescue’s weekly training. One of life's greatest feelings is the love of an animal. I work for a nonprofit organization as a life coach within the Dallas school system, so my schedule closely follows school hours and holidays. This provides me with a consistent routine and flexibility outside of school times. I’m available most weekends and love incorporating daily outings and activities around the DFW area to keep pets active, engaged, and happy. I have a fenced in yard. Experience with dog crating. During the summer months I limit my personal pups’ time outdoors. We keep the animals in the first room from the front door with baby gates which is a large area we use for dining.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 697 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Five Points. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Five Points commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 697 sitters in Five Points, 90% respond to messages in under an hour.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
