About: I do offer boarding at my farm. I only take up to 2 dogs at a time. We do a few walks everyday around the 8 acres. They get plenty of yard time. Every dog gets a specialized program with me and one Free training session. Does your animal need meds? No problem. If I can syringe a horse, I can handle a cat or dog (and have) I also LOVE cats. I have had a many cats in the last 28 years. House cats, barn cats, baby cats, old cats. I currently have 2 cats that were ring worm kittens from Paws. I finished up their treatment and adopted them. I can wrangle a barn cat that’s 1/2 feral to go to the vet or get it’s flea/tick meds. Don’t count me out if you have cats! They like me as much as I like them! I have taken care of pretty much any house pet from rats, to ferrets, parrots and snakes. I have had many tropical fish tanks too. Horses, cats and dogs are not my limits. As long as I’m not previously booked, I will be able to accommodate you. It never hurts to ask. I try to stay pretty close to home so I can fit in as many visits as possible but I do have great transportation. I keep safety in mind at all times. I am always aware when I’m walking a dog and will not let them mingle with other dogs or people. I always make sure water is fresh and plentiful. I am very cautious to avoid and loose animals. Your pets health and care are my career and my number one concerns.
“Beth is so kind and has a very calm energy! She welcomed Georgi and made sure she was happy all day! Fantastic experience! Georgi is looking forward to her next stay with aunty Beth!”

“Raelyn is such a great dog sitter. Luna has never been happier going to visit someone. Raelyn sent updates and kept me in the loop with everything. She even sent pictures of luna to show me how active she is and how tired she is after getting that puppy energy out. I will be using Raelyn again for sure!”

About: I’ve owned and cared for cats, dogs, fish, rodents and reptiles for more than 45 years. I would be happy to share the love with your furry (or otherwise) family members too. I currently have a sheepadoodle that loves other dogs and people, so he would love to have a playmate to come and take walks and spend time with us. I currently work from home so I have plenty of freedom to spoil all the pets in my care. I do look after my 3 year old grandson sometimes so getting along with children would be an important quality if your pet should come to stay with me. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly sheepadoodle that gets along with both dogs and cats. We love to go on walks too.
“It was our dog's first time with large dogs. I love Samoyeds and I'm so happy Bunny got to spend the day with them. Ahn was super accommodating for a last minute booking. She had great updates for us. We will definitely book her again!”

“So far so great! This was our first booking and it went very well! Shelann was welcoming and wonderful with CLA. She has a grand home and backyard. There was plenty of play at the home and the dog park. More than enough videos and great communication. Definitely recommended!”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong pet owner and animal lover with experience caring for dogs, cats, and reptiles. As both a pet mom and human mom, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your family members. I'm dependable, communicative, and often available on short notice. Whether your pet needs a quick check-in, a walk, or extra attention while you're away, I'd love to help! Because I work remotely and have significant flexibility in my schedule, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I'm able to plan my workday around walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, and playtime, allowing me to provide attentive care while accommodating a wide range of scheduling needs. We own our home and have a small fenced backyard. We currently have one friendly cat who thinks he's a dog! If needed, we have plenty of space to keep pets separated to ensure everyone remains safe and comfortable. Whether caring for pets in my home or in your home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide exercise and playtime, and make sure pets receive plenty of attention and affection. My goal is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away.
“This was my Milo's 1st time ever being out of our home & with a stranger. I felt like a bad dog-mom leaving him daily and he wasn't too happy about the notion either. Seeing Eileen's patience & affection toward animals & receiving daily pics & videos of my boy all calmed my quills & assured me he was adjusting well & was in great hands.”

“Great and I intend to return! Our fur babies got along very well. She took very good care of mine even though hers didn't feel that well. He was still feeling his trip to the vet. I highly recommend!”

“I brought my two beagles to Stacey for a year, and she and Anthony took wonderful care of them. They were very easy to work with, and whenever my family gets another dog, we definitely plan on using Stacey again.”
“Danielle has been doing a great job with my 5 month old puppy. Bella comes back from daycare relaxed and happy. she takes time to make sure Bella is not eating grass or doing the things young puppies do. I would highly recommend Danielle.”

“Stosh loves his time with Rose! We have used Rose several times now and she is wonderful. Rose is a very loving care giver. She is very accommodating and I would definitely recommend her!”

About: Hi! I have owned dogs my whole life, including mutts, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and my Pitbull. Unfortunately, we had to put our 16 year old Pitbull down last year after a long and happy life (just not long enough). We really missed having pets in the house, but aren’t ready to commit to a new one just yet, so we love having your pets stay with us! I mainly provide boarding and doggie day care, but can be available for drop in visits and walks. I am very Type A and organized, so I thrive on planning and schedules. I will happily follow any and all instructions regarding the care of your pet(s)! I am also happy to send regular updates and/or photos, as I know those are things that I always appreciate when having to leave my babies. If you have any questions or requests, please feel free to message me! My home is available for your pet’s next stay! My schedule is fairly flexible, so I can be available for drop ins and/or walks up to 3 times a day Sunday - Saturday most weeks. I have experience with various ages from puppies to elderly animals. I am happy to chat on the phone prior to caring for your pet!
“This was my first time having Tommy puppy sit for us while we went to a surprise party. Our baby is 3 months old. He took wonderful care of him and sent lots of pictures. Our puppy was happy and very well cared for. Thank you Tommy!”

“Sarah warmly welcomed Bailey into her home. And he enjoyed meeting her 3 Beagle “cousins”. Sarah sent lots of pictures and texts throughout the day. Bailey come home exhausted and satisfied.”

“Kimberli was amazing! I can tell that Shiloh enjoyed his time with her and her beautiful children. She is definitely being added to our sitter’s list. Thank you again for taking care of our fur baby.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 2,164 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Ferrell. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Ferrell commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NJ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
