“Marissa took amazing care of Duncan, he came home happy and super tired which tells me he had plenty of fun and enjoyment in her care. She communicated with us his whole stay. Will definitely book with Marissa again.”

About: I was always nervous to leave my furry babies with someone I didn’t know. And I had not-so-great experiences at the kennel. I preferred them to be in someone’s home, comfortable, and cared for — by someone who understood their quirks. But I didn’t know anyone who could watch my dogs! Hi, I’m Deidre. And I know we don’t know each other yet, but I hope I can be that person for you. My husband and I are home pretty much all the time, so your pup will have constant company, frequent pee breaks in our fenced yard, walks, and plenty of cuddles and laps to sit on (if that’s what they like). Ultimately, we want every dog to be happy and welcome quirky personalities and unique needs. We currently have one old-lady-hound who was born in the woods and was feral for the first years of her life. She is a sweet girl who spends most of her time outdoors. We recently lost our velcro cuddle bug, and miss her a lot. From fresh-air aficionados to lap-loungers, we know all dogs aren’t the same. And since you know your dog best, we want to know what will help them feel at home away from home. I’m happy to talk, and have a meet and greet, to see if there’s a mutual fit. Ultimately I want your dog to be cared for not by a stranger, but a friend! Since I work from home, I'm here pretty much all the time. So is my husband. There's usually at least one of us here, so your pup won't be alone. Tell me your ideal schedule for your pet, and we'll make it work! In my home or yours, I'm very flexible based on your pet's regular routine and preferences. When your dog is our guest, my goal is to keep them in their routine as much as possible. Do they like extra playtime in the yard? Long afternoon naps in the dog bed next to my desk? Whatever their style is, I'm here to make their visit comfortable and enjoyable. Plus, if it's okay with you, I'd like to spoil them a little with extra treats while they're here. :)
“We couldn’t be happier with the care our dog received! From the moment we met them, it was clear that they genuinely love animals and take their responsibility seriously. Our dog can be a bit shy with new people, but they was incredibly patient, kind, and attentive—quickly building a bond of trust and comfort. Throughout the time we were away, we received regular updates, including photos and thoughtful messages, which gave us complete peace of mind. It was clear that our dog wasn’t just being looked after, but truly cared for. We came home to a very happy, relaxed dog, which speaks volumes about their professionalism. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a dedicated and compassionate sitter and wouldn’t hesitate to book again or recommend to others. Thank you, for treating our dog like family!”

“Awesome and laidback! It was great to have Tommy take care of Burly today. Tommy was very caring and communicative the whole time. We would love to take Burly again for future dog sitting needs. Keep up the great work!”

“Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of Hudson! This was his best stay ever, and I could tell he had an absolute blast. I loved all the pictures and videos you sent—it was so comforting to see him happy and having fun. The consistent updates really meant a lot to me, and I truly appreciate the care and attention you gave him. I’ll definitely be booking with you again!”

About: Everyone in my house loves dogs. We have a large fenced yard and love to play run and walk with them. They won’t be bored. Taken care of several dogs with special diets. Mostly home all the time, so your home body dog will be great as well. I work part time from home so would love to hang with your dog. I enjoy dogs, would be great if I can meet yours! We have a large house and fenced in yard. Plenty of room to run and lay around. I also enjoy doing my daily run with a dog or getting some extra walking time in, if you just need a drop in.

About: I'VE OWNED TWO DOGS OVER THE PAST 20 YEARS. MY FIRST DOG, SOPHIE, A TERRIER, LIVED A HAPPY 14 YEARS WITH ME AND MY FAMILY. I THEN TRIED TO RESCUE A DOG BUT FOUND THAT AS SOMEONE WHO RECENTLY RETIRED, WITH MY FAMILY OUT OF THE HOUSE (AND STATE), I'VE BEEN TRAVELING A TON AND COULDN'T PROVIDE A GOOD HOME FOR THE RESCUE DOG (RILEY). I FOUND A GOOD HOME FOR RILEY AND BEGAN LOOKING INTO TEMPORARY OWNERSHIP. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT SPECIAL SKILLS, BUT I LOVE DOGS AND I ENJOY LONG WALKS SO YOUR DOG WILL GET TONS OF EXERCISE, LOVE AND AFFECTION. I FEEL THAT TAKING CARE OF DOGS WILL GIVE ME THE LOVE I'M LOOKING FOR WITHOUT THE COMMITMENT OF DOG OWNERSHIP. I am involved with different activities but home more than away at the present. I get up early so that isn't an issue in walking early rising dogs! I can place a stake outside if your dog likes to sit in the sun. I live in a neighborhood with lots of friendly dogs so I need to know if your dog doesn't like other dogs!
About: I have hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs,Chickens and many other small animals. My responsibilities have included feeding, walking, administering medications, cleaning homes and crates, grooming, and providing companionship. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and temperaments, and I always take the time to understand each pet’s individual needs and routines. Whether it’s an energetic dog who loves long walks or a shy dog who prefers quiet cuddles, I tailor my care to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I treat every pet as if they were my own. Pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine by making it a consistent part of my schedule. Each day, I set aside time in the morning and evening to feed my pet, refresh their water, and clean up any messes. I also make sure to give them attention through walks, playtime, or simply spending time together. Weekly, I include tasks like grooming, deep cleaning their living space, and restocking food or supplies. By keeping a regular routine, I ensure my pet stays healthy, happy, and well-cared for while balancing the rest of my responsibilities. Make them feel as comfortable as possible. Offer them treats, food, and attention. I make sure the animals have plenty of room to run around and play, but also comfortable spots to sleep and eat.
