About: I’ve owned and cared for cats, dogs, fish, rodents and reptiles for more than 45 years. I would be happy to share the love with your furry (or otherwise) family members too. I currently have a sheepadoodle that loves other dogs and people, so he would love to have a playmate to come and take walks and spend time with us. I currently work from home so I have plenty of freedom to spoil all the pets in my care. I do look after my 3 year old grandson sometimes so getting along with children would be an important quality if your pet should come to stay with me. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly sheepadoodle that gets along with both dogs and cats. We love to go on walks too.

About: I'VE OWNED TWO DOGS OVER THE PAST 20 YEARS. MY FIRST DOG, SOPHIE, A TERRIER, LIVED A HAPPY 14 YEARS WITH ME AND MY FAMILY. I THEN TRIED TO RESCUE A DOG BUT FOUND THAT AS SOMEONE WHO RECENTLY RETIRED, WITH MY FAMILY OUT OF THE HOUSE (AND STATE), I'VE BEEN TRAVELING A TON AND COULDN'T PROVIDE A GOOD HOME FOR THE RESCUE DOG (RILEY). I FOUND A GOOD HOME FOR RILEY AND BEGAN LOOKING INTO TEMPORARY OWNERSHIP. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT SPECIAL SKILLS, BUT I LOVE DOGS AND I ENJOY LONG WALKS SO YOUR DOG WILL GET TONS OF EXERCISE, LOVE AND AFFECTION. I FEEL THAT TAKING CARE OF DOGS WILL GIVE ME THE LOVE I'M LOOKING FOR WITHOUT THE COMMITMENT OF DOG OWNERSHIP. I am involved with different activities but home more than away at the present. I get up early so that isn't an issue in walking early rising dogs! I can place a stake outside if your dog likes to sit in the sun. About: Hi! I've been fostering dogs from a local shelter for a little over 2 years. In that time, I've helped about 20 dogs find their forever families. There's been dogs in our home ranging in age from 9 months to 9 years, all with a different story. Abused, neglected, owner surrender, stray, court case holds, seniors, puppies, overweight, super skinny and anything else you can think of! I treated them all with empathy and showered them affection to earn their trust and love. Many of my former fosters come for visits while their owners are on vacation. Any pup that comes through my doors will be cared for and treated with respect, just like my fosters! I work at a school, so I'm currently on summer break. When school is in session, I work Monday to Friday 9-1, and I'm off evenings, weekends and holidays. I also work in the town in which I reside, so my commute is less than 5 minutes, meaning I'm close by! I have a fully fenced in yard, crates and dog beds in various sizes, bowls, blankets and mounds of toys. I'm also comfortable administering medication if needed.
About: I do offer boarding at my farm. I only take up to 2 dogs at a time. We do a few walks everyday around the 8 acres. They get plenty of yard time. Every dog gets a specialized program with me and one Free training session. Does your animal need meds? No problem. If I can syringe a horse, I can handle a cat or dog (and have) I also LOVE cats. I have had a many cats in the last 28 years. House cats, barn cats, baby cats, old cats. I currently have 2 cats that were ring worm kittens from Paws. I finished up their treatment and adopted them. I can wrangle a barn cat that’s 1/2 feral to go to the vet or get it’s flea/tick meds. Don’t count me out if you have cats! They like me as much as I like them! I have taken care of pretty much any house pet from rats, to ferrets, parrots and snakes. I have had many tropical fish tanks too. Horses, cats and dogs are not my limits. As long as I’m not previously booked, I will be able to accommodate you. It never hurts to ask. I try to stay pretty close to home so I can fit in as many visits as possible but I do have great transportation. I keep safety in mind at all times. I am always aware when I’m walking a dog and will not let them mingle with other dogs or people. I always make sure water is fresh and plentiful. I am very cautious to avoid and loose animals. Your pets health and care are my career and my number one concerns.
