About: I'VE OWNED TWO DOGS OVER THE PAST 20 YEARS. MY FIRST DOG, SOPHIE, A TERRIER, LIVED A HAPPY 14 YEARS WITH ME AND MY FAMILY. I THEN TRIED TO RESCUE A DOG BUT FOUND THAT AS SOMEONE WHO RECENTLY RETIRED, WITH MY FAMILY OUT OF THE HOUSE (AND STATE), I'VE BEEN TRAVELING A TON AND COULDN'T PROVIDE A GOOD HOME FOR THE RESCUE DOG (RILEY). I FOUND A GOOD HOME FOR RILEY AND BEGAN LOOKING INTO TEMPORARY OWNERSHIP. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT SPECIAL SKILLS, BUT I LOVE DOGS AND I ENJOY LONG WALKS SO YOUR DOG WILL GET TONS OF EXERCISE, LOVE AND AFFECTION. I FEEL THAT TAKING CARE OF DOGS WILL GIVE ME THE LOVE I'M LOOKING FOR WITHOUT THE COMMITMENT OF DOG OWNERSHIP. I am involved with different activities but home more than away at the present. I get up early so that isn't an issue in walking early rising dogs! I can place a stake outside if your dog likes to sit in the sun. I live in a neighborhood with lots of friendly dogs so I need to know if your dog doesn't like other dogs!

About: Everyone in my house loves dogs. We have a large fenced yard and love to play run and walk with them. They won’t be bored. Taken care of several dogs with special diets. Mostly home all the time, so your home body dog will be great as well. I work part time from home so would love to hang with your dog. I enjoy dogs, would be great if I can meet yours! We have a large house and fenced in yard. Plenty of room to run and lay around. I also enjoy doing my daily run with a dog or getting some extra walking time in, if you just need a drop in.

About: I do offer boarding at my farm. I only take up to 2 dogs at a time. We do a few walks everyday around the 8 acres. They get plenty of yard time. Every dog gets a specialized program with me and one Free training session. Does your animal need meds? No problem. If I can syringe a horse, I can handle a cat or dog (and have) I also LOVE cats. I have had a many cats in the last 28 years. House cats, barn cats, baby cats, old cats. I currently have 2 cats that were ring worm kittens from Paws. I finished up their treatment and adopted them. I can wrangle a barn cat that’s 1/2 feral to go to the vet or get it’s flea/tick meds. Don’t count me out if you have cats! They like me as much as I like them! I have taken care of pretty much any house pet from rats, to ferrets, parrots and snakes. I have had many tropical fish tanks too. Horses, cats and dogs are not my limits. As long as I’m not previously booked, I will be able to accommodate you. It never hurts to ask. I try to stay pretty close to home so I can fit in as many visits as possible but I do have great transportation. I keep safety in mind at all times. I am always aware when I’m walking a dog and will not let them mingle with other dogs or people. I always make sure water is fresh and plentiful. I am very cautious to avoid and loose animals. Your pets health and care are my career and my number one concerns.

About: Hi, I'm Bethany! I have been caring for pets for many of years and believe every animal deserves love and attentive care. I specialize in Labrador Retrievers, German Shorthair Pointers, and Goldendoodles. I am comfortable with administering medication such as insulin shots as well as given oral medication. I treat all pets like my own offering overnights in your home, drop-in visits, and walks. My goal is to ensure your pet stays happy and comfortable while you're away! I am very flexible and usually have tons of open availability as I do not have many customers at the moment so I would be available at most times! I have a large yard (no fence) for your animal to explore in. Plenty of dog toys for your pet to play with from my previous dog. Plenty of leashes to take your pet for a walk. I live on a quiet road with a quiet development behind me that’s great for walking.

“I did a meet and greet with Samantha and her resident dog, and I immediately knew that my little puppy would be safe and in good hands with her. She understands dog behavior and we watched and made sure that my dog would be nice to her sweet dog. The next day I dropped my doggie for some doggy daycare and as to be expected, he seemed a little nervous when I left him, and Samantha reassured me that after a few minutes, he would be fine -and he was. Just like other reviewers have noted when I went to pick up my little guy he did not seem to want to go home with me. He let me know with his body language that he was very happy and having fun. Samantha and her partner are genuine “dog people”. My dog is very selective with men and he immediately showed affection towards Samantha‘s boyfriend. They have the knowledge and patience you’re looking for.”
