About: I grew up with dogs + cats and have experience raising puppies, handling senior dogs, and dogs with minor special needs (mobility issues and vision-impaired). I have worked with animal rescues as a foster for dogs as well! As for cats, I have fostered nearly 50 kittens and adult cats, and have experience with special needs cats! I also have experience with animals such as rabbits, lizards, fish, guinea pigs/hamsters. I currently have no form of employment and can spare most of my time for pet-care. I am willing to do overnights, drop-ins, and playtime or dog walks! I cannot do boarding as I have animals of my own and avoiding a potential problem is the priority. My pets are well-cared for and since they all came from rescues, their specific needs are taken into account. The cats have their own separate litter boxes, the dogs get plenty of playtime and sunshine. As for a client’s home, I will make sure that their pets are loved as if they are my own and I will keep the home clean if any accidents occur. Your pet's safety is a non negotiable for me, it is so important to me that your pet feels comfortable with me no matter what we're doing. Establishing a bond with an animal can be the most rewarding experience in the world! When talking about safety with any pet, I take a precautious approach with anything that could become an 'oops!' or a 'hey you, get that out of your mouth!' moment. So I will always take precautions with anything being left out unmonitored like toys, food, anything chewable, stringy, or soft toys, etc. I never want to have to think twice about a preventable accident with your pet, so I always take the time to keep everyone safe. This goes especially for walks, your dog or cat's safety is always going to be at the front of my mind when interacting with any other furry friends nearby, as it is always better to be safe than sorry. Every pet needs a different relationship approach, and different play styles! There are some pets who just want to cuddle, ones who need specific play-styles to be interested, and others who need someone up to the task of frizbee-ing the Tasmanian Devil out of them! I know personally one of my cats only wants to lazily swat at one specific toy he keeps losing, and the other wants to run and leap around for 20 minutes straight. I am dedicated to learning what your pet really likes so they have a great time with me, and you can go to work, over a friends, or on vacation without a worry that they living their best life.

About: I’ve owned and cared for cats, dogs, fish, rodents and reptiles for more than 45 years. I would be happy to share the love with your furry (or otherwise) family members too. I currently have a sheepadoodle that loves other dogs and people, so he would love to have a playmate to come and take walks and spend time with us. I currently work from home so I have plenty of freedom to spoil all the pets in my care. I do look after my 3 year old grandson sometimes so getting along with children would be an important quality if your pet should come to stay with me. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly sheepadoodle that gets along with both dogs and cats. We love to go on walks too.

“I am so so glad I found Victoria on Rover -- highly recommend if you need a sitter for your animal bb! <33 My dog has some health issues which affect his diet, and is a generally shy / anxious lil guy (like myself), and I can't express how grateful and secure I felt knowing Theo felt safe, cared for, and happy while I was away. Victoria has so much experience and compassion working with animals, and you can absolutely tell by her kindness, attentive care, and communication. I appreciated every message and cute picture of my pup Theo on walks, smiling, and relaxing with Victoria (and Remi, Nova, and Luey!) In addition, I appreciated the add-on booking allowing Victoria to come pick and drop Theo off.
