About: With years of hands-on animal experience, I’ve fostered kittens, raised service dog puppies, and worked at a reptile and fish store during college. Throughout school, I also rescued and rehomed animals in need. Today, I share my home with two German Shepherds, one actively training and one just beginning her journey. I’m passionate about positive reinforcement, structured care, and creating an environment where animals feel safe, confident, and loved. From high-energy working dogs to small pets, I understand that every animal has unique needs and deserves patient, knowledgeable care. Your pet will be treated like family and cared for with the same attention and dedication I give my own. I live in a quiet, pet-friendly, one-story home with minimal stairs and a spacious, secure yard perfect for dogs who enjoy fresh air and room to play. Inside, I use gates to thoughtfully separate areas of the home, allowing me to create a calm, structured environment tailored to each pet’s comfort and needs. Im happy to accommodate crate-trained dogs and have dedicated space available for rest and decompression when needed. Our cats have their own separate room and can remain fully separated to ensure a safe, low-stress environment for everyone. Whether your pet enjoys exploring the yard, structured playtime, or relaxing in a cozy spot indoors, I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and right at home.

About: I do offer boarding at my farm. I only take up to 2 dogs at a time. We do a few walks everyday around the 8 acres. They get plenty of yard time. Every dog gets a specialized program with me and one Free training session. Does your animal need meds? No problem. If I can syringe a horse, I can handle a cat or dog (and have) I also LOVE cats. I have had a many cats in the last 28 years. House cats, barn cats, baby cats, old cats. I currently have 2 cats that were ring worm kittens from Paws. I finished up their treatment and adopted them. I can wrangle a barn cat that’s 1/2 feral to go to the vet or get it’s flea/tick meds. Don’t count me out if you have cats! They like me as much as I like them! I have taken care of pretty much any house pet from rats, to ferrets, parrots and snakes. I have had many tropical fish tanks too. Horses, cats and dogs are not my limits. As long as I’m not previously booked, I will be able to accommodate you. It never hurts to ask. I try to stay pretty close to home so I can fit in as many visits as possible but I do have great transportation. I keep safety in mind at all times. I am always aware when I’m walking a dog and will not let them mingle with other dogs or people. I always make sure water is fresh and plentiful. I am very cautious to avoid and loose animals. Your pets health and care are my career and my number one concerns.

About: I’ve owned and cared for cats, dogs, fish, rodents and reptiles for more than 45 years. I would be happy to share the love with your furry (or otherwise) family members too. I currently have a sheepadoodle that loves other dogs and people, so he would love to have a playmate to come and take walks and spend time with us. I currently work from home so I have plenty of freedom to spoil all the pets in my care. I do look after my 3 year old grandson sometimes so getting along with children would be an important quality if your pet should come to stay with me. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly sheepadoodle that gets along with both dogs and cats. We love to go on walks too.

About: I'VE OWNED TWO DOGS OVER THE PAST 20 YEARS. MY FIRST DOG, SOPHIE, A TERRIER, LIVED A HAPPY 14 YEARS WITH ME AND MY FAMILY. I THEN TRIED TO RESCUE A DOG BUT FOUND THAT AS SOMEONE WHO RECENTLY RETIRED, WITH MY FAMILY OUT OF THE HOUSE (AND STATE), I'VE BEEN TRAVELING A TON AND COULDN'T PROVIDE A GOOD HOME FOR THE RESCUE DOG (RILEY). I FOUND A GOOD HOME FOR RILEY AND BEGAN LOOKING INTO TEMPORARY OWNERSHIP. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT SPECIAL SKILLS, BUT I LOVE DOGS AND I ENJOY LONG WALKS SO YOUR DOG WILL GET TONS OF EXERCISE, LOVE AND AFFECTION. I FEEL THAT TAKING CARE OF DOGS WILL GIVE ME THE LOVE I'M LOOKING FOR WITHOUT THE COMMITMENT OF DOG OWNERSHIP. I am involved with different activities but home more than away at the present. I get up early so that isn't an issue in walking early rising dogs! I can place a stake outside if your dog likes to sit in the sun. I live in a neighborhood with lots of friendly dogs so I need to know if your dog doesn't like other dogs!

About: I’m a devout animal lover with two dogs of my own and one cat. Caring for animals is truly one of my favorite joys in life! My ultimate goal is to give your dog a home away from home when they’re in my care. My senior dog recently passed from a rare lung cancer so I’m experienced in delivering oral medication, round the clock care and attention, and moving at their pace. Your baby will be well taken care of. I work remote so I am able to give your dog lots of love and attention throughout the day. Your dog will be able to take potty breaks every two hours in the fenced-in yard and spend time outside. We typically go for walks in the early morning and late evening. My Rover calendar is updated daily so that I can support any urgent needs, when available. Boarding & Daycare: My ultimate goal is to give your dog a home away from home! I only board one dog at a time so that I can give them adequate, individualized attention all throughout the day. You will not find a sitter in Wilmington that is as attentive as I am. My pets are kept separate during boarding. Your dog will have access to the entire first floor and the fenced in-backyard. I have a dedicated bedroom for boarding where I can sleep with dogs who may have separation anxiety to ensure they are comfortable. Drop-in visits & Walks: I‘ll take my time getting to know your dog and make sure they’re comfortable with me being there. I like to sit with them for a few minutes before and after each walk to feel out their energy levels. On walks, I recognize that this is their social time so I go at their pace and let them get plenty of sniff time. I am very respectful of your home and will follow your instructions closely.
