About: I grew up with dogs + cats and have experience raising puppies, handling senior dogs, and dogs with minor special needs (mobility issues and vision-impaired). I have worked with animal rescues as a foster for dogs as well! As for cats, I have fostered nearly 50 kittens and adult cats, and have experience with special needs cats! I also have experience with animals such as rabbits, lizards, fish, guinea pigs/hamsters. I currently have no form of employment and can spare most of my time for pet-care. I am willing to do overnights, drop-ins, and playtime or dog walks! I cannot do boarding as I have animals of my own and avoiding a potential problem is the priority. About: I have been a pet appreciation magnet as long as I can remember. Even when I am not aiming for the attention, the pets gravitate my way, and i have scritches and belly rubs for them all. I have a rescue of my own for 6+ years now, bichon/poodle mix. Though he had a traumatic start before me, he has adjusted well and is a cuddle bug, and getting better with his socialization with new doggos. I have been a dog sitter for friends over the last 8+ years, when they go on trips. I have experience in minor training, like sit/stay/leash leading, for a few breeds up to 50-70 lbs (no certificates, just repitition and patience). Positive recognition of good behavior and moderate activity (to remedy the bad behavior) when you need me are what I hope to share with your furry family members. She is professional: very responsive, very communicative (pictures and daily narrative), flexible, sensible and accommodating (kept guest dogs separated, minimizing risks with someone else’s bébé), honest, cautious, and just a pleasure to know. Invited us over for a meet and greet, setting me at ease knowing the environment that my boy would be in. Even though I know my dog enjoyed the yard and host pup, Ollie, Aubrey still took the boys on walks and outings. I also appreciate that she respects my older dog’s love of air conditioning and naps! “Kelsey & Conor were amazing with George!! He settled in immediately with their two dogs, Brody and Beans, and had the best week ever. Daily walks, constant play, and by the end he was lounging on their furniture like he owned the place. They sent photos and updates without us having to ask, and were very flexible with drop-off and pickup over a busy holiday week. He came home happy and completely worn out.
