About: Hi! I am a stay-at-home mom of two human babies and two fur babies. I previously worked in upstate NY for a dog training company, My Dog Hikes, as a dog hiker where we took dogs from NYC into the woods for full day dog-care fun. Because of this I am comfortable giving medication and training commands. I also have a Cattle Dog (Clayton) and Black Lab (Tarzan) of my own. I would love to take your little ones on the trails, play fetch in the yard, or just snuggle on the couch with lots of pets. I have a very open schedule so can work around any timeframe you need! As childcare is very expensive, please note before booking me that my son, Eli (3), will be joining me on jobs during the week (daytime only). We can always meet beforehand to see if it's a good fit! As I am a stay-at-home mom your typical work week is when I am available. I can be flexible around your schedule! I can also stop by to spend some time with your pets on the weekend, so you can go enjoy a trip away. (: I do not care for dogs in my own home as my Lab does not like other dogs. In your home, however, I take care to follow all instructions closely! I take many pictures so prepare for cuteness overload. I also have experience working with a dog training/walking company in NYC and am comfortable with a wide array of needs.
About: i grew up with parents that loved reptiles, farm animals, cats and dogs. at a young age i became responsible for feeding, then walking, the older i got, the more responsibilities i had. i’ve owned/ own big and small dogs, and a few crazy cats i’m currently going to school online, and not working. i leave my home to hike daily, or walk the around downtown daily in the mornings to catch the morning sun, and usually around sunset to stretch my legs. i would like to spend more time outside, and being able to help pet owners while getting the exercise i want would be amazing! Unfortunately i rent, so i cannot sit in my home! With my 10+ years of owning and pet sitting experience, home cleaning for my seasonal job, and having OCD…Your home and pet will be well cared for, and treated as my own.

I know my dogs appreciated the cuddles and attention they received since they both struggle when their routine is adjusted. She made sure they were well fed, watered, and that the brooding box was safe as I was concerned with the safety of a heat lamp. “Above and beyond care! I don’t normally leave reviews with anything but I really wanted to in this case. I have an automatic water fountain which is normally filled with enough to last them a week if it didn’t get topped off. Erica was concerned they were drinking more than what could get them through between her visits so she put an extra water bowl down for them in addition to refilling the fountain. That is going above and beyond and showed real compassion for my kitties and that is something I really value. She went out of her way to ensure they wouldn’t need anything while I was away. And she was so very kind to bring in my packages left on my doorstep. I didn’t ask her to but she saved them from the rain and took them in for me. KitKat my very shy kitty even liked her so she has my seal of approval! I will ABSOLUTELY go to her again if I need someone to watch my fur babies!!!!! Trustworthy, dependable, and compassionate!”

Amanda was lovely. She was on time for the meet and greet and asked all the right questions ( obviously experienced pet sitter). Our cat was happy to get her gentle pats . She realized I had booked one day wrong and brought it to my attention in a very professional manner before there were any missed visits. I got daily photos on time - reassuring. I even asked her for helping with a mail issue and she was very accommodating. I understand why she gets 5 stars and repeat customers! I will be a repeat customer too!!

Victoria was wonderful! I have two cats who are usually very shy around new people, but they were comfortable around her. She took pictures every time she came over, and from the very first day, she had the shy cats interacting and playing with her. She was communicative throughout and took excellent care of things, including giving photo updates on how much they’d eaten. I would definitely book her again in the future.
