About: Hi! I am a stay-at-home mom of a human baby and two fur babies. I previously worked in upstate NY for a dog training company, My Dog Hikes, as a dog hiker where we took dogs from NYC into the woods for full day dog-care fun. Because of this I am comfortable giving medication and using training commands. I also have a Cattle Dog (Clayton) and Black Lab mix (Tarzan) of my own. I would love to take your little ones on the trails, play fetch in the yard, or just snuggle on the couch with lots of pets. I have a very open schedule so can work around any timeframe you need! As childcare is very expensive, please note before booking me that my son, Eli (3), will be joining me on my jobs. We can always meet beforehand to see if it's a good fit! Additionally - I do not accept requests for recurring weekly services and prefer them to be sporadic. As I am a stay-at-home mom your typical work week is when I am available. I can be flexible around your schedule! I can also stop by to spend some time with your pets on the weekend, so you can go enjoy a trip away. (: I do not care for dogs in my own home as my Lab does not like other dogs. In your home, however, I take care to follow all instructions closely! I take many pictures so prepare for cuteness overload. I also have experience working with a dog training/walking company in NYC and am comfortable with a wide array of needs.
“We had Cherokee come by twice when we took a day trip to the beach. Once I initially contacted her, she was eager to respond and offered to come by and meet us prior to booking. She was prompt on both her visits and communicated extremely well throughout the entire process. She provided feedback on what they did during the visits and took a few photos. About: Hiya, I'm electrical apprentice inbetween jobs and eager to get some nature time in with some new doggos. I'm accustomed to walking more than 7 miles a day and love hiking with my own girl, Lucy. From horses and donkeys, to rabbits and dogs, I've been caring animals my whole life. Grew up training our family dogs as AKC therapy dogs, but now I focus on mental and physical enrichment for Lucy. I love dogs and working with them to provide them with the most beneficial walking experience in whatever way that looks for each individual dog. I'm experienced with high energy/anxious dogs, though I love working with a variety of energy levels. I do prefer medium to large dogs, but I'm open to new experiences with smaller ones. I have pretty flexable availability except Thursdays. I will require a meet and greet before committing to any bookings. I prioritize my dogs mental and physical enrichment through games, exercises courses, hiking, anything really that engages her mind and body. About: I have almost 24 years of experience working with a variety of animals in a variety of settings (clinics, shelters, boarding/doggy day care and pet sitting). I am working full-time at a veterinary clinic on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On those days, I would be with your pets in the morning before work and after work. On Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday then I would be with your pets full-time. Since I am caring for pets in their own home, I will follow the guidelines and rules that have been provided for their safety and protection.

My dogs were so excited to have Christine drop by for a visit during one of my long work days! I came home and could instantly tell she did a great job entertaining them and making sure they had ample time for potty breaks, following all of my guidelines to a T. She communicated very well and I am so grateful for her care. Looking forward to having her stay with them for an extended trip at the end of summer.
Victoria was wonderful! I have two cats who are usually very shy around new people, but they were comfortable around her. She took pictures every time she came over, and from the very first day, she had the shy cats interacting and playing with her. She was communicative throughout and took excellent care of things, including giving photo updates on how much they’d eaten. I would definitely book her again in the future.
We had Meghan caring for our two cats for 26 DAYS when we were in Europe and she did an amazing Job with their food and litter boxes and our older cat's medication - Both cats are clean and happy and healthy and we are very pleased with her love and care for them. We have booked her services again for the Christmas holidays.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
