She regularly sent updates on how he was doing, and took him out for beach walks. We scheduled a meet and greet to make sure Milo would get along with her pups. They got along fabulously and her dogs are so affectionate and sweet. Maria is also flexible with arranging pick up and drop off times which is greatly appreciated. Milo usually has some trouble eating when he is away from me. Maria quickly figured out how to soothe his anxiety and got him to eat quickly. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 14. My first dog was a lab mix and he is now 14 years old. I currently have two cats and two dogs of my own that I have taken care of for the past few years. I have also helped friends and neighbors with their little furry friends by walking and feeding them. My current schedule for right now can be any night time stays. I can also help out anytime after 7:30am Monday to Fridays, or weekends full-day. I am close to local dog parks which I take my two puppies to everyday. They love to play with other dogs there and play tug of war or catch at the park. I also love to take walks by the water or go on hikes with my dogs.

Kimberly got back to my inquiry within 15 minutes, and was able to help me with less than 12 hours notice. Upon my request, I asked if she could come by the house so I could leave her all my (insane and overly protectiveness) notes. We had initially agreed to 30 min drop-ins everyday, but after I met her I asked if she could do 2 visits a day, which she was able to accommodate my worry for leaving my cat alone. Kimberly provided photos of my cat EVERY VISIT and messaged me every time I needed to check-in (for my sanity). I had interior cameras set up and could honestly look in when I was curious, but she was amazing and meeting all my cats needs. Her interaction, and updates showed me that aside from me, and including my daughter, my cat seemed to love her almost as much as me! My cat was even following her out every visit the last few days! Kimberly loved my cat, and even fed the outdoor birds & squirrels in my absence since they are my cats TV entertainment throughout the days. ***Note: I didn't even return to a "present" from my cat! About: I am currently only able to offer house sitting or drop in visits. My own little senior pup will accompany me. I have always had dogs, mostly rescues. They give so much and deserve our best care in return. I have a special fondness for seniors. I am retired with plenty of free time! About: I have been taking care of others pets for about 5 years now and have had family pets of the furry, feathered, and scaly varieties my entire life. I've mucked stalls, scooped poop, cleaned cat boxes, all of the not so glamorous parts, and have enjoyed walking, playing and spending quality time while meeting each furry friends every day needs. I currently have a French Bulldog named Sophie and a Leopard Gecko named Leo who I have loved taking care of every day! I am currently on summer vacation so I am free every day except for one vacation I have planned in August (which is blocked out on my calendar). I am able and willing to stay as many days as you need in your home any time of the week with your pets. I am very flexible with my schedule so I can extend stays if needed. I plan on getting a regularly scheduled job after summer so my schedule will be less open but after communication I can let you know if I am available or not. My basic pet care will include bringing pets to the bathroom about every 2-4 hours, feeding pets required amount told by owners, playing with pets multiple times a day, cleaning up after pets, and any other special care instructions given by owners. Care may vary depending on the type of animal.

I closely monitor playtime and all interactions, follow each dog’s routine, and can crate, separate, or provide quiet space if needed in order to keep all dogs in my care stress/free, comfortable and happy. Safety, comfort, and trust are always my top priorities. This isn’t just a place where you drop your dog for the day or for a trip. It’s a calm, loving environment where dogs feel safe and loved while you’re away. I choose thoughtful exercise and enrichment to keep them happy and give them plenty of opportunities to burn energy and excitement.
“Matthew was great! This was my first time leaving my Aussie with anyone. It was a two day trial run to see how he reacted being away from me and home for any length of time. He did great! Matthew was very thorough in gathering as much information about my dog, likes, dislikes, daily schedule, etc. Matthew’s home was very clean and roomy. Matthew sent me updates and pictures throughout the stay. I would definitely recommend Matthew to others.”
