“Sonia treated our cats very well! She arrived on time, made sure they ate, and played with them as we had requested. No complaints, and we would absolutely have her catsit for us again!”

“Nadia enjoyed her visits with Katrina! Katrina was very attentive to Nadia and spent time during each drop in visit to make sure Nadia received adequate care and attention. Katrina is gentle and her attention to detail put us at ease that our baby was being well cared for. We will definitely book with Katrina again! We highly recommend her services!”

“Lohan did an amazing job taking care of Tracy and Lola! He stepped in last minute and went above and beyond to make sure they were well cared for. He exceeded my expectations, was kind, dependable, and gave me peace of mind while I was away. I will definitely book his services again the next time I need someone to care for my pets. Highly recommend!”

“Gabe is wonderful! Over the recent 7 months, Gabe has been reliable for our scheduled visits. She has been patient and gentle (but firm) with our golden retriever puppies (large and energetic). The puppies are excited when she arrives. Gabe sends photos each visit and messages to let me know about anything.”

“Absolutely fantastic Petsit!! Seth took care of my pup recovering from surgery on 3 legs. He asked the right questions and was genuinely interested in the comfort and care of our little boy!! Very thankful and I will be booking him again!”

“Caroline took amazing care of my girl, Stella. She was attentive to Stella’s needs and gave her the cuddles she requested each drop in visit. We will definitely have her back!”

“Ella did an amazing job with my tuxedo cat! She sat and played with her-gave her treats-scooped the litter box-even managed to brush her a little! Tazz only comes out for those that she trusts- Ella was patient and kind and took her time with her. I will be booking again! Highly recommend this young lady!!!”

“Dionisia is a great pet care taker . She is very good and patient with handling dogs with anxiety like mine and I can tell my dog loved her as well. She send photos and always communicated very well with me. I 100% trust and recommend her for anyone who may want to book with her !”

“Having a 19 year old cat, we did not want to leave her with just anyone while we were anyway. Daniel was willing to come by for a meet and greet to make sure he was a good match. He was excellent to work with for set up and came by on schedule and spent time feeding and providing company in our absence. Daniel provided pictures for each visit which was comforting. If you are looking for someone who is dependable and friendly with your pet, he is your person.”

About: I’ve always had animals in my life. We grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, even a duck! We’ve had our animals from babies to adults so I know how to care for animals of all ages. I understand the importance of training and attention for puppies & kittens as well as the patience & extra needed care that elderly pets may require. I’ve always been the go to sitter for friends and family as they know I’ll treat their animals with the same love I have for my own. I’m currently full time but work different hours throughout the week so there’s times where I’m available to care for pets before a shift, after a shift, or both! I have more availability on weekends and sometimes have extra time during the week as well. I have a fenced back yard where your doggos can run around and enjoy some much needed play time and let out their zoomies! I have a 5 year old Olde English Bulldog named Ozzo who’s a sweetheart and loves to play (only for about 10 mins before he gets tired) and a cat Bobo who keeps to himself.
About: I have owned dogs my entire life and am lucky to still be caring for my childhood dog (17 years old!). Because of this experience, I know some dogs require a routine schedule to make sure they continue to be happy and healthy. Every dog has a one of a kind personality and I love getting to know each dogs quirks and little joys! I will be working close to a 9-5 schedule around 4 days a week. I will be able to give potty breaks or walks before and/or after my work during the work week but I am much more flexible Friday-Sunday. I live in an apartment so I unfortunately cannot offer dog sitting at my place at this time. Because I live in an apartment, I make sure to give my dog morning and evening walks and can make sure your dog gets the same treatment!
About: I have worked with all kinds of dogs and cats over the years, and I pride myself on being compassionate, adaptable, and attentive. Whether I’m working with energetic puppies, tranquil senior dogs, or even dogs recovering from surgery, I’ve got the experience and patience to meet the individual needs of your pets. I’m comfortable administering medications, and working with dogs who might not get along as well with other dogs. Whether pets are big or small, shy or playful, I know how to handle their needs and make them feel loved and comfortable. I also offer routine drop-ins and house sitting, keeping your pets happy while making sure your home stays the way you left it. I have plenty of time on my hands, so I can divest as much as needed to take care of your pets. Whether it’s week days, weekends, or holidays, I am at your service. I have two Golden Retrievers: Winston is 2 while Jake is 14. They both have different needs as Winston is significantly more energetic. He needs a lot more playtime so I take him outside to play throughout the day. Jake is a rugged senior who lives a life of tranquility (although Winston won’t always give that to him) and mostly lays around all day. I walk them both 2 miles every day and let them out throughout the day to use the bathroom. At nights and mornings Jake needs a little assistance getting up and down the stairs and he also requires medication in the morning and night which I put in a chunk of banana. Winston gets a piece of banana too but that’s because he’s spoiled. As for other people’s pets, I use the same amount of care as if they were my own pets. Of course their needs may differ than my two dogs, but I care for everyone’s pets like they are my pets.
“Katherine was great about showing up consistently at the agreed-upon times and accommodating all my instructions and requests. I was able to enjoy my time away free from worry, knowing that my cats were being well cared for. Would happily hire her again.”

“Finding Melissa and having her help care for and pamper Sky during these days has been a true blessing. Both my cat Sky and my family clicked with her immediately. Melissa is incredibly loving and empathetic, as well as helpful and proactive. She kept us posted on everything. We are so grateful for her excellent support. The fact that she is bilingual adds even more value to her work. Thank you so much, Melissa! 🙏🏼”

“Brenda stopped by our home to check on our kitties and make sure they were fed and given some love! She took a bunch of photos and did everything I asked and was very punctual. She was quick to respond and I would definitely recommend her to anyone who was looking for a trustworthy person to stop by while they’re away!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Farrs Corner. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
