When I got back home Sam, who has separation anxiety, was calm and happy to see me. I will definitely request dates with Blake when needed in the future.”

Alex gives the cat love and TK reciprocates -- that's clear from the photos Alex sends showing the cat snuggled up next to him (or sitting on Alex's computer, demanding attention). Alex also played sitting-tag with a friend, who came for several days, and coordinated with her so that care for the cat and watering of our garden went seamlessly. Finally, TK had a few puking incidents. While TK did not apologize to Alex, I did. Alex's response? "No worries! Animals doing animal things." He's a great sitter with a sense of humor.”

About: I’ve been taking care of my families puppy and my own kitten for about 2 years now ! Ive taken care of other peoples dogs in the past as well! I’m efficient and competent. Im currently a college student, so I spend most of my time at home and just in general I’m a home body. So, I have enough time to care and tend to pets and their needs. I’m very attentive to my own cat and families dog. They both have feeding schedules and are potty trained. I’ve taken my time to make them good pets. I’ve showed the same amount of attention and affection to other peoples pets as well.

About: Hi, I’m Josephia, and I would absolutely love to meet your pets! I hold a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I’ve also been pet sitting for dogs and cats in my neighborhood since high school, giving me over 10 years of experience caring for animals in both casual and structured settings. Most recently, I spent the past year doing a work-stay on a farm, where I was responsible for the vegetable garden, 12 fruit trees, and the daily care of a variety of animals, including two sheep, nine chickens, three cats, and a dog. This experience taught me how to be highly attentive, consistent, and adaptable to different animal needs and personalities. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning, monitoring health and behavior, and maintaining safe, comfortable environments for all animals. I’m very familiar with sticking to routines, which I know is especially important for pets while their owners are away. I live an active lifestyle and love being outdoors, so I’m great with pets that need long walks, runs, or playtime. I truly treat every pet like my own and prioritize clear communication with owners through updates, messages, and photos so you can feel confident and at ease while you're away. Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine. I am currently doing a farm stay in Sebastopol, where I follow a consistent schedule of daily animal care. While these responsibilities do not take up my entire day, they do require me to stay in the area, so I am only able to take on pet care within Sebastopol. I have a flexible schedule and am available any day of the week in the Sebastopol area. I’m able to accommodate morning, midday, and evening visits, as long as it is within the area. I follow your instructions closely and stick to your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always safe, and I pay attention to each pet’s behavior so I can respond to what they need, whether that’s space, attention, or exercise.
