“Allison was amazing with my kitties! She went above and beyond to clean up after my messy kittens and won over my scaredy cat, Piper. Very reliable and responsive. Thank you Allison!”

“Mary was wonderful at helping us with a last-ish minute drop in. She offered to do a meet and greet on short notice and her communication was great. We plan on using her again!!”

About: I grew up with a reactive black lab, so I know how to handle leash pulling and how to deescalate and prevent fights. In her old age, I learned to accommodate her failing joints. I’ve been trained at the Licking County Humane Society in Ohio as a volunteer dog walker, which has well equipped me to understand and respond respectfully to dog language. I further pursue this knowledge by reading about how dogs communicate with us, and by observing and analyzing their behavior both in real life and online. This will be my primary commitment, so I can easily cater to your schedule to fit your pets needs. Mornings, evenings, weekends, whatever you need, except Thursdays :) I will take great care to follow your instructions and respect the rules of your home and needs of your animal(s). I cannot accept boarding in my own home at the moment.
“Sarah is incredible! Our cat is always a little hesitant to meet new people but warms up after a while and Sarah is so patient and sweet with our cat, they have become quick friends. Would highly recommend to anyone!!”

“Highly recommend Tiffany to take care of your fur babies!! She provided updates with photos and spent time playing with my cats during check-ins. My cats seemed very comfortable around her as well :) Thank you!!”

“Heather was so kind and upon meeting her, I instantly knew I wouldn’t have to worry while I was gone. She was very communicative and I know my boy had the best treatment.”

“Danielle was wonderful with Ellie our golden retriever and with communicating with us while we were away! I would definitely recommend her in the future! Great service :)”

“Jessica did a fantastic job cat sitting as always! She is prompt, responsible, and always provides great communication and updates. Jessica goes above and beyond. I know my cat will be cared for well while I’m away!”

“Zoe was fantastic and we would definitely love to have her sit for our cat Otto again. This was the first time since we adopted him that we had a sitter. He's a shy cat and I honestly expected him to hide 90% of the time but Zoe was patient and gentle in trying to befriend Otto. After just a day, he started to warm up and then quickly began to play with her and eat normally. She was attentive to our requests and direction and made sure to send the information we needed in her Rover reports along with pictures that eased our minds. We look forward to having Zoe watch over Otto again and highly recommend her to anyone.”

About: 🐶 Having been surrounded by dogs my entire life, I’ve developed a deep understanding and appreciation for their care. Growing up with dogs and raising my own, Harlow 🐾, from a puppy, has given me firsthand experience in fostering their well-being. My passion for animals extends beyond personal experience—participation in clubs at the Pittsburgh Zoo 🦁 provided me with valuable insights into animal behavior and care, further enhancing my knowledge. Being from Pittsburgh, I am fluent with many resources for me to enjoy with pets. 🐕🦺 My pet care journey started in 2014 with my first job at a dog care store on Butler Street, where I honed my skills in providing attentive and compassionate care. During my internship with the Water Authority in Bradford, PA, I dedicated my lunch breaks to volunteering at the local SPCA 🏠, offering love and attention to animals in need. These experiences have shaped me into a dedicated, knowledgeable, and empathetic sitter. 💛 As an alumni M.S. engineering student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to caring for my pets. I can easily fit dog walks, feeding, and playtime into my routine, ensuring each pet gets the attention it deserves. My love for animals and adaptable schedule make it easy to prioritize their well-being. I currently care for two dogs, my mother's and her boyfriend's, and have hands-on experience managing their daily needs. At home, I ensure a safe environment with our fenced-in yard and always prioritize the pets' well-being. For my clients' pets, I’m adaptable to their specific routines, whether that involves feeding, walks, playtime, or creating a comfortable space. Every pet in my care receives love and attention tailored to their unique needs.

“Ryan went above and beyond what was expected of him. He took excellent care of my two dogs and bonded very well with both of them. Will use him again without any hesitation. Thank you Ryan for taking such good care of them”

About: I've taken care of my two dogs for 15+ years. I've helped family and friends when they were away to care for their pets as well. I am familiar with caring for senior dogs and feel comfortable administering oral medications My schedule is flexible depending on location. I am in the Fox Chapel Area. The closer to my home, the more flexible my schedule AND RATES are - but generally M-F 8-5:30 some evenings and weekends work fine. Looking mostly to work in Fox Chapel Area. Due to cost of gas, areas further than 3miles will have a sight increase per hour. I will take care of your pet in your home. I will take care of any animal and follow your instructions. I will walk and play with dogs and give them my undivided love and affection! I am very consistent, reliable and great at communicating
About: I have had pets all of my life. I also have extensive pet rescue experience with pets of all kinds and ages. I frequently foster animals and have a few “foster fails” that are now a permanent part of my family. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat that I spend time with all day. I am available most times of the day and I am excited to help your fur family members! I have experience with kenneling, ensuring gates and fences are secured, following best guidelines to avoid dog bloat, and understand the needs of reactive dogs and puppies ( along with non reactive dogs, of course).
Fairview Heights cat parents share their Rover experiences
For a vacation where everything that could go wrong almost did, Kayli was the one reliable positive thing that we had to deal with through our planning and travels! Kayli was very communicative, sent lots of pictures, and was super understanding and easy going while dealing with our pipes freezing while she stayed with our pets. I also think our pets behaved better for her than they do for us!! I was a little reluctant to use rover as we have always had friends stay with our pets but I am so happy to have found Kayli!

Sweet, caring, trustworthy and attentive pet sitter. Sarah watched my 2 dogs & cat on a last minute request. This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous. However, Sarah made the whole experience a total joy. She was over the top responsive, always provided details about the visits, was happy to add a visit and tweek the times if needed. I look forward to using her services again and absolutely 100% recommend her.

Kathryn , thank you! I am so appreciative of the efforts you made to locate our hiding Mr Gibbs, and attempts at engaging him out from his “not so un- obvious hideout”! Yes, he does leave “clues” around the house as to his 👻presence when opening doors and drawers. I am glad you detected “nose prints” signaling an appetite. 🤣. Your communication at each visit was so appreciated . We felt safe and secure knowing you were watching and caring for him!
