“Deena was very accommodating and good with my dog. This was my first time using Rover and she made the experience great! She took care of my little guy!!! Thank you”

“Great with adjusting to my time change. My only thing is doesnt seem that he ate after being told he did. Also, didnt get updates realky throughout the day. Great location”

“Jake was an ideal sitter for my Charlie. He had the biggest smile on his face after spending a fun-filled afternoon and evening with Jake. Thanks again!”

“I can’t thank Tim enough for being such a lifesaver and amazing sitter! I had a very last minute need for a sitter over the July 4th weekend while I was working and he stepped up in the biggest way. He walked Coco multiple times a day and gave the most adorable summaries of their day together. Coco sprinted to him immediately after only one day and it was obvious she had a great time despite the terrible 100 degree weather that weekend. I can’t thank him enough and can’t wait for him to sit coco again!”

“Travis was easy to communicate with and my dog came back just as happy as when I left him. He sent lots of pictures and even took my dog to the dog park that is less than a block away.”

“John was super communicative and really easy going. He made us and Mac feel comfortable and sent lots of photos throughout the day. He seems to really like the animals / definitely use John for your next care!”

“Tim came highly recommended, and now I know why! He was so understanding and patient as I navigated having him care for my senior dog, and he was clearly attentive to her. I will be back!”

About: I'm currently a grad student with a flexible schedule, and honestly, time outdoors with a dog is my favorite way to recharge and get away from the screen. A good walk or an afternoon of play doesn't feel like a chore to me — it's the part of my day I look forward to. That means your dog gets someone with the energy and genuine enthusiasm to keep up with them, not just clock in and out. I grew up with a golden retriever and was the one taking care of him solo whenever my parents traveled for work, so I've been the trusted "person in charge" since I was a kid. I offer dog walking, doggy day care, and drop-in visits & house sitting, and I'm comfortable with everyone from high-energy pups to laid-back loungers. Whether your dog needs a good walk, some company, or a full day of play, I'll treat them like my own. Can't wait to meet you both! As a grad student with a flexible, largely home-based schedule, I can give your pet real attention and keep to their routine. Through the summer I'm generally free all day, every day, except Sunday mornings. Because I'm home and around for most of the day, I can stick to your pet's normal routine — feedings, walks, meds, and play at the times they're used to — and send you updates and photos so you always know how they're doing. If you have a specific schedule you'd like me to follow, just let me know and I'll build my day around it. Doggy day care: I'm in a comfortable 750 sq ft one-bedroom apartment with easy access to Rittenhouse Square, so your dog gets a cozy home base plus plenty of nearby green space for walks, play, and bathroom breaks throughout the day. They'll have my attention, a steady routine, and regular trips outside rather than being left to lounge alone. Dog drop-in visits: I like to be thorough so your dog's day feels exactly like it does when you're home. Before your first visit, I'll ask where to find the spare leash, poop bags, water, and treats, and I'll want to know your usual walking route and routine. The more detail you can share, the better — I'd genuinely rather have too many instructions than too few, so your pup gets the same care and rhythm they're used to. Cat drop-in visits: For cats, I pay close attention to the details that keep them comfortable while you're away. I'll ask where the litter box is, whether it needs refilling, and exactly how you'd like it cleaned, plus where to find food, water, and treats. I also like to know their favorite toy and how they usually like to play or spend their day, so I can match their normal routine rather than disrupt it. Clear instructions are always welcome — I'd rather follow your way of doing things to the letter.

“Brian went above and beyond with Ru. He even taught him how to heel in just a few short hours and showed me how to continue the training. Fantastic care - highly recommend!”

“Emily was so sweet and kept me updated on how my baby was doing throughout the day. She was very quick to respond and flexible. I could tell Peachy was comfortable with her and had a positive day in her care.”

“Abigail and Max are really the ideal rover sitters. I got lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. They were super easy to communicate with and made sure to check if there was anything they should know about Remmy. They accepted my last minute request and were super understanding when I ran late for pickup. I would definitely book again!”

“Amira was amazing! Super responsible and goes above and beyond to make sure that your pups has an amazing time! I felt super safe leaving my dog with her and will strongly recommend. Definitely a 10/10 experience!”

“Chris has taken care of Pinto while I was away traveling. He did an amazing job, i didn’t have to worry even for one moment. He took care of her so well, and I would recommend him to anyone with a pet!”

About: When I think of my dog experience, I think of 3 dogs in particular. Starting off with the first dog my family ever had, Tamba the chocolate lab. The second is my (now ex) partners dog, Teags the Beags, who I was lucky enough to live with. And lastly my brothers old lady of a dog, Mocha, Ive been her second parent and love our sleepovers! Currently starting my own travel business so I have lots of free time between salsa dancing and meeting up with friends. My only routine at the moment is volunteering every other week. I live in a row home on the 2nd & 3rd floor. Pets that are over 60lbs that MUST be carried up/down stairs wont really work with my under 5' body. That being said, I am super athletic and have no problem walking bigger dogs if they are well trained.
“Najeara is incredible! She was punctual, kind, respectful and professional. I could not have chosen a better person to take care of Prince. So long as she's offering her services on Rover, I'll continue to book her!”

“Ronon came home happy and relaxed from daycare at Sean's place, so I know he had a good time. (He has separation anxiety and big feelings, so if he's been stressed or unhappy when we're apart, it's pretty obvious.) Sean has a great, chill vibe and was very attentive to everything I told him about Ronon before his first visit. I will definitely book daycare with Sean again!”

About: I have taken care of all kinds of pet friends including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and turtles ever since I was a kid! I love spending time with them and I'm looking forward to devoting my time to neighbor pet friends! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine! I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and make sure they receive the attention, exercise, and care they need. I make time for walks, feeding, play, and any special instructions. I’m also very mindful of maintaining routines that pets are used to, which helps them feel safe and comfortable. As a doctoral student with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to care for pets with attention and love. I’m usually available for boarding from Thursday to Sunday, especially on weekends when I can devote my time and heart to your pets. Whether it's walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I make pet care a meaningful part of my weekly routine. I prioritize safety, comfort, and a loving environment to make sure your pets feel at home. I provide a clean, pet-friendly space where your pet can relax and follow their routines. My goal is to create a nurturing atmosphere with plenty of love, playtime, regular walks, and personalized attention. When caring for your pet in your home, I respect your routines and environment to minimize stress, paying close attention to your instructions so your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family.

I had a fantastic experience with Jason! He was incredibly accommodating and accepted my booking at the very last minute after other sitters had unexpectedly canceled on me, which I really appreciated. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. Jason was reliable, responsive, easy to communicate with, and made the whole process completely stress-free. It was such a relief to find someone so dependable on such short notice, and I felt very comfortable knowing everything was in good hands. I’m extremely happy with the experience and very grateful that Jason was able to help me out when I was in a difficult spot. I would absolutely book with him again and hope to do so in the future. Highly recommend!

Chloe was wonderful with Lily! Lily immediately took to her and was so excited and happy to spend the day with her. Chloe was very attentive to Lily’s needs and kept me updated throughout the day, which I really appreciated. When I picked Lily up, she was happy and clearly had a great day. I would definitely recommend Chloe and would be very happy to have her watch Lily again!

I left my dog in Tim’s care for the day to attend a very important event, but was a bit concerned as my dog was clearly a bit off that morning. Tim was understanding, asked all the right questions, and I left assured that my Tim would keep me updated as needed. All went well, and I again appreciated the loving care Tim provided!

My dog and I have had two great sitting experiences with Kiara! Very accommodating with booking and plenty of feedback during the day. Sophia has had a great time hanging out with Kiara and whatever other pups are there with her! Looking forward to booking again.

Lara and her husband were great! We visited just for the day, and needed a safe place for our very senior pup to stay… they were great about booking (we booked less than 2 weeks before our visit), gave updates, took her for a walk and took great care of her. Would definitely recommend!

Very responsive, flexible, and watched our dog Piper on a last minute request. After struggling to find someone for daycare with just a few days notice, Janelle responded quickly and was available immediately for a meet and greet followed by a long day with Piper. Additionally, Piper had a fantastic time and seemed to quickly warm up to Janelle despite struggling with separation anxiety, which was something we were initially worried about. Both Janelle’s enthusiasm for helping us out and her excitement for taking care of Piper made the experience fantastic; not just for our dog, but for us as well!
