About: I've lived with and cared for dogs my entire life. As an adult, I fell in love with cats as well (just never got the exposure when I was younger). At present, I currently live with with four cats (all outdoor) and one dog. For work, I have retired from finance to instead work for my family business doing handyman and maid work around multiple house rentals in town, fixing up my own house in the spare time. I often visit my brother with his three cats and two dogs. We like to meet up at the Waggin' Tails dog park here in town to socialize our dogs and ourselves. I have also started volunteering at the local humane society to give needy animals some additional love, support, and attention. With my extra time, I'm now making myself available to help take care of even more cats, dogs, and homes than I already have been! I am self employed with the flexibility to start helping other people out. Some days I need to turn over a house cleaning mid-day as my family manages several houses for rentals, other days I am working on repairs and random home improvement projects; otherwise, I am generally around and available! There are two doorways between the boarding area and the outside. The property has a large fenced in yard, about a quarter acre with an attached smaller dog run that can be gated off. I have four outdoor cats that keep to themselves and I do have one very friendly, social dog. There is also a large, mostly unfinished basement with multiple rooms/areas with gates available throughout the house. Prior to the boarding, doggy day care, or house sitting, I will reach out to the owner and ask questions to gain more insight into how I can make the stay of their pet(s) a more homey and consistent one.

I love animals of all kinds and have looked after cats of every temperament, many breeds of dogs as well as chickens, turkeys, goats and fish! I feed, play and groom animals according to your instructions and always love to give pets extra love and attention. Frequently, both dogs and cats who are not friendly right away, or who may be shy or reserved, come right over and cuddle with me. Many pet parents are happily surprised when they see this happen! I am an artist and a real homebody and spend most of everyday in the home with your pets. I'm constantly taking photos and videos and will send the cutest ones to the "parents." I would do the same for you! When you have an overnight sitter, your home is protected by having someone there while you are away and pets get to feel the safety and comfort of being in their own environment, reducing the stresses of transporting them, boarding them with other animals they don't know and other discomforts of being in an unknown environment. I will be in the home most of the day, every day and can play with your pups and your kitties as much as they crave! I love caring for animals and spending time with them! And while I am sitting for you, your pets' well-being is my number 1 priority! I am always keeping an eye on things and making sure everyone is healthy, safe and feeling loved. :) I make caring for your pets and your home a priority in every way! I pay attention at all times to all the animals under my care to make sure everyone is healthy, happy and feeling loved and safe! I follow your instructions regarding feeding, playing and grooming.

About: I love dogs and cats like they are my best friends because they are the most loving, loyal creatures I’ve ever met on this planet! They make me so happy always! I have an hour lunch during the week and weekends are usually free! If I commit to watching a dog/cat for several days in a row whether checking in or staying at their home, I make sure they are well taken care of cuz that’s really all that matters. They get all my love and attention! I have a pet friendly house but much rather take care of them at their own home as it’s likely more familiar/comfortable for them and convenient for the pet’s owner.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

About: I've had a dog since I was 10 years old and caring for him has been a big part of my life. I started dog sitting last summer and quickly realized how much I loved it! I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, whether we're going on walks, playing, or just relaxing. I treat every dog like my own and I make it a priority of mine to do my best to keep them in their same routine so they can be as comfortable as possible while you're away. I'll make sure your pup gets plenty of exercise and love! I'll also be sure to send plenty of photo and message updates so you know your pups are in good hands! I'm going to be attending University of Kansas this fall and my schedule is very flexible. I will only have one class Monday, Wednesday, and Friday which gives plenty of time to provide attentive care throughout the day. My weekends will also be open, making it easy to accommodate weekend bookings. I will care for your pets in their home by keeping their routine as close to normal as possible. I'll stick to your instructions about feeding, walks, potty breaks, medication, or any other special care they may need. I want your pups to feel safe and comfortable while you are away. I will send regular photos and updates so you can be at ease knowing your fur baby is in good hands.
