I love finding ways to help my community and caring for your fur babies like my own. Pet care is my current side job alongside my full-time job as a veterinary assistant. I am finding new ways to help my community while saving up for my veterinary school journey. I can care for your pets in your home by helping with everyday tasks such as feeding, walking 15-30 mins, and grooming if necessary. Trimming nails or cleaning ears if deemed necessary.

About: We love animals! We are a mother/adult son team who will be working together to make your pets feel loved and happy. We recently lost our dog of 16 years and miss having pets around. We have had several dogs and cats of our own over the years and have fostered and placed many more for adoption. We have experience with dogs as small as 4lbs, up to 80lbs, from puppies/kittens to seniors. You will receive frequent updates and pictures throughout the booking, and we are very responsive to texts and calls. My teammate Alex and I are currently working part-time, with alternating schedules, so there is always someone available to care for your pet. We provide frequent updates and pictures, so you never have to wonder what your pet is up to. DROP-IN VISITS: We will listen to and follow your instructions and preferences to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible. HOUSE SITTING in your home: We know pets are most comfortable in their own home, so we will listen to and follow your instructions and preferences to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible. We are healthy and active and try our best to meet the activity level of your pet. If you would like, we can visit a few times before the booking to ensure your pet is comfortable with us beforehand. With two of us working together, we can provide more frequent check-ins, meaning we can accommodate animals who do not like to be kenneled or left alone. We are able to administer medications. BOARDING in our home: Since we have no pets our own, yours will get all the attention, and no children to bother the senior dogs who just want to relax. We also do not accept more than one family's pets at a time, so no need to worry if your pet will get along with others. We have experience with anxious and reactive dogs as well. We encourage you to visit our home beforehand a few times so your pet is not confused and scared when you leave them for a few days. We have a completely fenced in yard, but dogs are never left out by themselves. With two of us working together, there is hardly a time when your pet will be left alone in the home, meaning we can accommodate animals who do not like to be kenneled. We will listen to and follow your instructions and preferences to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible. Cats will have their own room to chill in or can roam the house freely. We are able to administer medications. DOG WALKING: We can discuss your preferences for walking locations and times. I have been working in the pet industry since early 2019 - beginning as a kennel attendant, evolving into a professional dog trainer in two prominent KC training facilities, and now running my own small business. I am thoroughly versed in canine care and communication, and use my expertise to help every dog I care for have a comfortable and positive experience. Not only that, but I am also very knowledgeable in canine enrichment and stimulation. Have a high-energy, high-needs breed? They'll end their days with me happy and tired. A senior dog that has special needs and benefits from therapeutic stretches? Say no more. Puppies are absolutely welcome as well, and I would love to provide them with opportunities to practice socialization, confidence building, and manners. My experience also means that I am able to care for dogs with behavioural issues and special health needs. My house is pretty well "dog-proofed" and oriented in a way that I am able to keep a close eye on pets from just about anywhere! So your pup gets to be the king of the castle, with lots of room inside & outside to run and play. Not to mention the mountain of toys.... When I cannot monitor them, they'll get to chill in a cozy crate or pen, with fresh water always available and a chew toy, puzzle, or snack to keep them entertained. For walks and other adventures, I will always keep your dog leashed and close to me. I love to take dogs out on excursions to parks, trails, and other such places! Of course, I will always check with you first to make sure that we don't go somewhere your dog doesn't enjoy. I have three adult dogs (all ~45lbs) and a cat in my home. The cat is dog-friendly, but also is able to be kept entirely separate from your dog if needed. My dogs are all 100% dog-friendly, have good play manners, and are also able to be neutral around/ignore other dogs when told. They are very patient with young puppies as well! And if your pup isn't one for new friends, don't worry - they can be kept totally separate on request, and your dog will still get plenty of one-on-one playtime & snuggles with me. It is 100% up to you if your pup has any interaction with other dogs (or the cat). Full separation is possible, but if you'd like your dog to make some furry friends, I am happy to safely facilitate that! All interactions between your dog and other pets will be of limited time and monitored - the dogs will never be alone together. For safety and management reasons, I cannot accept boarding bookings for dogs that are not able to be comfortable in a crate (or pen, for small dogs only). Have other questions or concerns? About: I've taken care of my dog for a little over 6 years, an extremely anxious rescue. He is well trained and very social. I can work with any sorts of dogs, small and loud, big and reactive, anything in between. Long or short walks. I currently in between jobs and doing some interviews, so I have plenty of time to help take care of your pet as if they were my own! I have one dog who lives in an apartment, but he is very active and socially. We go on at least one 2ish mile walk per day, but he loves playing fetch or with other dogs at the dog park.

If I commit to watching a dog/cat for several days in a row whether checking in or staying at their home, I make sure they are well taken care of cuz that’s really all that matters. About: Recently graduated from Mizzou, I have spent the last 2 years helping to care for our house pets, including two cats and one dog. I worked to feed, walk, and engage with my pets during this period. Prior to this, I lived and cared for many animals back in my hometown: 3 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, 2 parrots, and a turtle. Because of this, I deliver versatile care, and understand that every pet has its own unique needs! I work 2 part time jobs, both in healthcare, where my hours are stacked on certain days of the week. This gives me flexibility to help care for your pets! Though each week can be a little different, I have my schedule set throughout the summer and can plan far ahead! I have such a big heart for animals! I love giving them attention and care above and beyond what's expected. I prefer to do this in a house sitting situation due to having 5 other roomates with animals here, but I have a car and am willing to do overnights!
