About: I've had dogs, cats, and horses my entire life and have played a key role in helping my family care for them. Because of my experience and love for them, other family, friends, and coworkers have relied on me to watch and care for their pets on many occasions. I work remotely, so most days, I can be very flexible with checking in on pets or taking them for walks. While sitting, this means I can spend the vast majority of the time with your pet, including on weekdays. I am a true animal lover and aim to care for your pets as if they were my own. I truly enjoy caring for and spending time with animals, and as a lifelong pet owner, I know how much your pets mean to you so I take their care very seriously. And together, the pets and I have fun (and snuggles) while we’re at it! I work remotely, so most days, I can be very flexible with checking in on pets or taking them for walks. While sitting, this means I can spend the vast majority of the time with your pet, including on weekdays. I am happy to follow any instructions provided to care for your pet in your home and/or on walks so that I can provide your pet the best care possible.
“Sophia is amazing with my senior dog, Meg! Meg took to her immediately! Sophia is great at communicating and is very trustworthy and flexible! I appreciate her help so much!”

About: Hi Rover friends! I am a pre-veterinary student at CSU with over 9 years of varied experience in pet-sitting. I have had animals my entire life and would love to spend my days hanging out with your pets! I graduated from CSU with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences in December 2025 (Go Rams!) and am now pursuing a master’s in public health, with plans to apply to veterinary school after. In my free time, I volunteer at the Denver Zoo, and NOCO Humane, in addition to working in Estes Park as a veterinary assistant. I am looking forward to meeting you and your pets :) I am available for petsitting this year within the guidelines of my school and work schedule. I attend CSU and work in Estes as a veterinary assistant. I serve in between those areas, and sometimes will go beyond (may be subject to mileage reimbursement). I can provide 4 hours between potty breaks, walks, playtime, whatever your pet needs. I am very type A and will follow your instructions to the letter :) I know how to take care of medical issues, senior animals, and veterinary emergencies if needed, as well as your basic care - feeding, playing, etc! I try to keep as close to your pets schedule and normal environment as possible, within the guidelines of my schedule. A note about safety: if you have cameras, please let me know location and if they will be on/monitored during the stay. If there are workers coming to the home, I must have a heads up of at least 24 hours with the time/date of arrival/departure. I will leave before they arrive, and liability for your pet will fall on the worker, as strangers are not approved by the Rover platform or covered by the Rover guarantee. Finally, I will not share my personal number under any circumstances. Calls and texts through rover will be routed through my phone. If any of these are violated, I reserve the right to cancel the booking.

About: I have taken care of many dogs in my life both my own and families and friends beloved pets. I’ve done visits and house sitting. Tasks usually include walking, feeding, play, and giving required medication if needed. I’ve also brushed out dogs and given baths when needed. Was working full time but with the winter season cut short I have a lot of down time until mid may to help anyone out with their pets. I unfortunately don’t live in a pet friendly unit but when visiting others homes with pets I am very respectful of the owners space and their pet I would generally go in and give the pet space or company if wanted and only touch the things allowed by the owner like food, water, medication, leash…etc.

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Estes Park. On Rover:
- 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
