About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so I have plenty of experience caring for them and understanding their different personalities and needs. I absolutely love dogs of all breeds and sizes and enjoy spending time playing, walking, and giving them lots of attention. I’m currently studying Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at CU Boulder with hopes of becoming a veterinarian. I’m responsible, patient, and loving, and I’ll always treat your dog like my own! As a college student at CU Boulder, I have a flexible schedule outside of my classes that allows me to dedicate time to pet care. I grew up with many varieties of animals among the years and numerous cats and dogs. I have always been a huge animal lover and can't wait until I have the property and space to home more friends! The very first thing I have always done at new people's houses with animals is greet all of the animals. I play for a little and then check to see the water bowl is full (and for my cats that the food is also - I know dogs are on a schedule). With dogs, I would regularly schedule times to take them out for walks - and make sure I match them for however they wanna walk! (Slow, adventurous, running a little faster) I make sure that I have plenty of plastic bags and treats to take with on the walk. I do not like to leave dogs alone for more than 2-4 hours. I love interacting with animals and giving them lots of attention!

About: I don’t have pets of my own, but I’ve taken care of dogs and cats from other family members. I also work as a caregiver, so I’ve had clients with pets that needed help taking care of them. I have experience with large to medium dogs, but mostly small dogs from puppyhood and up. And if you have a pet that has a strict diet you’ll be happy to know I am immune to their deceptions. I do have some experience with dog sitting overnight and I used to volunteer at an animal shelter, working with both cats and dogs. I currently work part-time so I can work around my schedule and check on pets after a shift. I’m free two days straight on weekends l so I can stay overnight if needed if you want a weekend getaway without worrying about your fur babies. The first thing I’ll do is look for any possible ways your dog may get out and secure them so the won’t be able to get out. I’d also try to double secure a leash in the event of one clasp breaking, the other will keep your pet secure.

About: I’m Leo. Your dog will get walks, play, photos, and real company, not an empty house. I won’t only do these things because they need it but I’m happy to. I go hiking or biking almost every day. All sizes. I’ll follow your routine. You get updates the whole time. Request a meet and greet and we’ll go from there. I bet ill love your dog more than they love me. I’m a sophomore living on the Hill in Boulder. Most days look the same, which is good for dogs. I walk to campus for about an hour of class in the morning. Then I come straight home. I make lunch, take your dog out, hang on the floor with them, throw a toy, or just let them nap next to me while I study. That stretch in the middle of the day is a few hours, so they are not sitting in an empty place waiting. Afternoon class is one to two hours. Same thing after: walk home, another outing, water, treats, and time together. Nights I am home. Your dog will not be alone for more than two hours. If they need a mid-day walk, extra play, or just someone in the room, that is already built into how my day works. I’ll treat your dog how I’d want mine (really my mom’s) to be treated. I'm happy to give you access to my Amazon Alexa so you can see and maybe even interact with your dog. My place on the Hill is set up for dogs first. Doors stay shut, trash is put away, cords and anything chewable get picked up before a guest arrives. If I have your dog, they are not loose in a room I have not already checked. I do a meet and greet so we both know the vibe before any overnight. I follow your rules on food, crate, meds, and where they sleep. I do not leave them loose with the front door or windows open. When I leave for class they are either crated if that is what you want or in a safe closed-off space, and I am never gone more than two hours. Trust for me is simple. You get photos and a short update when I get home and when we go out. If something feels off I tell you right away instead of hoping it blows over. If you also have a cat, I keep them separate from dogs unless you say they already live together. Litter, food, and a quiet room stay theirs. I do not force handling. I let them come to me. The goal is a calm house, not a chaotic one. I live alone in an apartment, so I’m happy to have your pet as a buddy.
