About: I have been pet sitting for friends and neighbors since I was 12 and am always down to hike with a dog. I love animals of all kinds and have experience with dogs, puppies, cats, fish, and birds. I would be delighted to meet and care for your pets! I am currently completing an internship during normal weekday work hours, so I am available for walks and drop in visits in the mornings, evenings, weekends, and lunch hours if needed. While I cannot currently host pets in my own home, I have years of experience caring for animals in other peoples’ homes and would be careful to follow any specific instructions related to your pet’s care and routines.

About: I have lots of experience caring for animals - dogs and cats. I grew up caring for dogs and and cats. I currently live with one cat, but have lived with many cats throughout the years. At one time, I lived with four cats while attending university classes and had a blast learning all of their personalities and caring for them. These days, I often pet-sit for family members and friends when they are busy or traveling. Although I do not have any pets (while I am finishing my degree), I plan to adopt a dog when I graduate. Right now, I have an open schedule and am very flexible. I care for pets by adhering to their feeding schedules, walking schedules, etc. Right now, I live with one cat and I often feed him a couple times a day (when my roommate can't) and I take time out to play with him daily. I care for pets in my client's home by tending to their food schedules, medication schedules, and walking schedules. If I am cat-sitting, I also make certain to clean their litter boxes regularly. Safety comes first, so I always make certain to adhere to any details that are left by my clients and make certain to constantly check in on pets. I also believe that communication with my clients is essential in safety, trust, and environment.

About: I have lived with dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and rodents my entire life, and currently have two dogs, two cats, and a leopard gecko. I love hanging out with animals and look forward to meeting your pups and kitties! I have helped take care of various pets for friends and others, including but not limited to, a pair of elderly dachshunds that had various medical needs, a lovely cat who loves to hand out, and I took home the class ferret nearly every weekend during my senior year. I am very familiar with administering medicine orally to both cats and dogs, and I have provided shots in the past. I personally had to care for my own dog that needed major surgery, and am familiar with animal's warnings and limits. I currently work part-time on an every other week schedule, but can take care of animals between shifts as needed. My husband and I split the care for our pets and make sure all of them get the proper playtime and food they individually need. I follow all instructions provided by the owner and always meet new animals before the owner leaves so that they are familiar with me. I provide food, play with the pets for a bit, and any other requests while in the home.

About: Hi! My name is Kristen. I work as vet tech and have been working with animals my entire life. I have a love and passion for dogs and other animals and would love to care for them while you are gone! They are welcome to stay right in our home and become part of the family! I have extensive experience working with animals. I have been volunteering at my local humane society and fostering and rehabilitating dogs for many years. I have years of experience caring for and training sled dogs. I have been training my own dogs for a variety of sports such as Obedience, Rally, and Agility, Dock diving, and Barn Hunt for over ten years as well. I have worked at a doggie daycare and boarding facility for several years where I was constantly working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments (I love them all)! I also have experience pet sitting dogs in my home for many years. I have been working as a vet tech for the past 8 years. I have a flexible work schedule with a 3 hour lunch break and only about 5 minutes away from home. Your dog is never left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. We live just outside of town in a secluded and private area of Goldstream. We have a large fenced in yard for your dog to play in. We also have direct access to the Goldstream trails right from our property (which I hike very frequently with the dogs) We have a small team of sled dogs that are also part of our family. They are fenced off in a separate yard, but all are very friendly. If you have a dog that loves to play, we basically have our own dog park right here with lots of friendly dogs! I have several dogs that absolutely love to play with other dogs and would love to meet your dog. Please contact me if interested! I would love to watch your dog while you are away! I am very active with my own dogs and your dog is welcome to join right in! We play tons of fetch, go swimming and hiking, as well as dog sledding and skijoring in the winter. I have big fenced in yards with two very friendly house dogs. Your dog will be welcomed into my home and treated just like my own dogs.

About: I currently own 25 Alaskan Huskies and 1 German Shepard. I run a sled dog tour business with my pups in the winter! Our sled dogs are all extremely friendly and trained to be off leash and indoors on a rotation. I've been working with dogs and training animals since I was 15! I can help train your dog or just doggysit! We pride ourselves in dog care and want your friend to be happy and comfortable here with us. We have lots of options available at our house. We can house a sled dog outside in our dog yard or chain link enclosures (ask about discounted prices for sled dogs) or we can watch your pet dog in our home with a few of our pet dogs! All of our dogs are up to date on Rabies, Parvo and Bordetella vaccinations. I currently have 1 german shepherd and one husky that live inside full time all the rest of our dogs can be outside if needed during your pets stay. Our dogs are not allowed on our furniture but they sleep in our bedroom on their beds. They are always with us while we're working outside either loose or in one of our enclosed pens.

About: Hi my name is Alexis I grew up on a farm in Washington and have had animals my whole life I really have a deep passion for taking care of animals and aspire to be a veterinarian one day. About: I have a wide variety of experience working with animals. I spent years working at animal shelters and boarding kennels, have fostered over 30 rescue dogs with behavioral issues, helped train search and rescue and sled dogs. I also have two wonderful rescue pups of my own :) I love dogs and other animals of all ages, temperaments, and sizes and would love the chance to care for yours! I have experience giving medications as well and, if this service is required, you can feel confident that medications will be given on time and accurately. You can rest assured that your furry friend will be treated kindly and as one of my own. I would be happy to work with any special needs or requirements and do whatever it takes to keep you and your pet happy. I like to go with the energy of the pups I have in the house- if it feels like a lazy morning, we will relax and cuddle until we are ready to go. Other times we can get up and moving, hitting the trails as the sunrise is coming up. I am pretty high-energy myself and will be sure to exercise your pup regularly/get their energy out! I do not have a fenced yard but will be outside with your pups while they are at all times. If you are most comfortable with them remaining on-leash, I will happily leash-walk them for potty breaks.

About: I am a musher with 15 dogs, and just finished my rookie Iditarod. I have extensive knowledge in vet care including administrating medication, monitoring animals, emergency care, canine massages and snuggles!! Being a kennel owner, I am responsible for creating meal plans - keeping each dog at a healthy weight. Training and exercise plans - assuring each dog gets the right amount of exercise per day and creating “jobs” for the dogs who need that extra task. House training - training pets (specifically sled dogs) to make the transition into living in a house! While I cannot bring pets to my house, I am willing to travel for your pets in order to make each one as comfortable as possible while the owner is gone! I am currently in between jobs so most of my day is off making sure my dogs are enjoying their day and I would love to do the exact same with your pets! Unfortunately with a kennel of 15 dogs, I cannot bring pets to the house. However, I am willing to commute in order to give your pets the care they need - whether that be for feeding time, a walk/hike, or a simple check in.

About: I adore dogs so much. I have helped raise 4 dogs from puppyhood and I haves cared for senior dogs as well. I have tackled potty training, basic commands, and a few neat tricks. Your dog will be treated like absolute royalty with me, my favorite thing is pampering my own beautiful pups. I have never met a dog I don’t like and I’ve always lived with dogs so I’m exceptionally comfortable around them. I currently work mostly from home and I’m a part time dance teacher in the fall and spring. I can make myself available almost any day besides Sunday. I have two dogs, one 10 months old and the other is 4. They get to go on walks, drives, adventures to the dog park, and more. I treat dogs like kids honestly. We gotta burn energy and then make them feel comfy and loved.

About: Why hello! What sets me apart from others is that I'm a 10+ working dog (K9) Handler and trainer. Pet dog trainer, as well. Outgoing and energetic, your dog will be kept on a leash, active (if they desire), loved & cared for like they deserve. Worked as well, and trained , dogs that have had behavioral or medical issues with a soft spot for seniors. Have a puppy? I've had plenty of those. As for other animals, have over 15 yrs experience caring for horses, goats, cats, birds, fish, lizards and hamsters. I'm close enough to home that the max my animals go with out a potty break is 4 to 5 hours. Have a Webcam set up to monitor when I'm away. I can house sit or have your pets in my home. I am surrounded by a gorgeous forest with a dog pen. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks daily as well.

About: Hi, I'm Dave! I have over 15 years of professional work experience and education in the animal care field; working with everything from rodents to horses, and everything in between! I've had the pleasure of helping out 20 different Fairbanks families so far and look forward to growing that circle soon! In 2009, I completed a vocational school program in Small Animal Science: a two-year course designed for training future veterinary technicians. From there I worked at several boarding kennels where I cared for dogs and cats staying for day care as well as boarding. I now have my B.S. in Wildlife Biology, but still enjoy caring for more domesticated animals of all sizes. I have a very friendly Border Collie who I am training to eventually compete in agility competitions, as well as other canine sports and activities. About: My parents had a couple of litters of puppies when I was a child and I’ve been dog driven ever since. I don’t let the opportunity to greet a doggo pass me by. I am a massage therapist with a lot of daytime availability so I can break up the long work day for your fur babies needing exercise and love. My current dogs are very friendly with others and love to make new friends with proper supervision. I’m happy to be a part of your animals routine in their home environment as well.
