About: I have been off and on pet sitting for a long time. I primarily watch dogs but I have also watched ducks, goats, hamsters, cats and more! I love being outdoors and I will make sure the doggos get all the exercise they need. I have my own dog who comes with me. She does best with younger dogs with a preliminary meeting in a neutral location but I also take my gate and crate with me so dogs can have a break from one another. I am currently a graduate student. I have one class each day this semester so I will be able to spend a lot of time looking after pets even during the week. I follow owner instructions of care and exercise. If your dog likes to run, we go running. If your dog is a couch potato, we go on short sniffaries. My dog hates taking medication so I am expert at making sure dogs get their pills even under resistance. Have been attacked by a duck daily for four weeks straight and still kept them all happy!

About: Growing up, we always had multiple pets in our home. I think that really shaped me to become the animal lover I am today. I have experience training dogs, mostly obedience, but some tricks as well. I think friends and family would say that I am reliable and caring pet sitter! I work, but I love taking time out of my day to care for pets! It breaks up the day so nicely in my opinion. At my home, there is a fenced yard and my goldendoodle loves playing with friends. At other people's homes, I am very attentive to make sure nothing happens to your furry friend.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was 4. I moved up to Alaska and have missed them so much and my place doesn't allow animals sadly. I’d love to come over and take care of your pets and take them for walks. I can’t wait to meet your furry loved ones and get connected with the Fairbanks community! I work a 48 hours on 96 hours off schedule as a firefighter. On my days off I have full flexibility and availability as well as my own reliable car to get around. I’m extremely active so high energy animals aren’t a problem. Although I can’t host animals at my place I promise to be respectful of your home. I know our area well so I’m open to walking animals around anywhere! As long as I get detailed instruction for your home and pets I’ll abide by any special rules or instructions.

About: I have a cat, two Mackenzie River huskies and two hermit crabs. Having grown up around pets all my life, I know how to take good care of them and keep them happy. I have also taken care of cats, dogs, chickens and gardens for neighbors and friends. As a college student, I take care of my pets and other people's pets during my summer and winter breaks when I am home in Fairbanks. I will ensure that your pets are happy and safe when I take care of them. I will make sure that their needs are met and all instructions you provide are followed. You can be confident that your pets are in good hands.

About: I have a wide variety of experience working with animals. I spent years working at animal shelters and boarding kennels, have fostered over 30 rescue dogs with behavioral issues, helped train search and rescue and sled dogs. I also have two wonderful rescue pups of my own :) I love dogs and other animals of all ages, temperaments, and sizes and would love the chance to care for yours! I have experience giving medications as well and, if this service is required, you can feel confident that medications will be given on time and accurately. You can rest assured that your furry friend will be treated kindly and as one of my own. I would be happy to work with any special needs or requirements and do whatever it takes to keep you and your pet happy. I like to go with the energy of the pups I have in the house- if it feels like a lazy morning, we will relax and cuddle until we are ready to go. Other times we can get up and moving, hitting the trails as the sunrise is coming up. I am pretty high-energy myself and will be sure to exercise your pup regularly/get their energy out! I do not have a fenced yard but will be outside with your pups while they are at all times. If you are most comfortable with them remaining on-leash, I will happily leash-walk them for potty breaks.

About: My parents had a couple of litters of puppies when I was a child and I’ve been dog driven ever since. I don’t let the opportunity to greet a doggo pass me by. I am a massage therapist with a lot of daytime availability so I can break up the long work day for your fur babies needing exercise and love. My current dogs are very friendly with others and love to make new friends with proper supervision. I’m happy to be a part of your animals routine in their home environment as well. “I was fortunate to have Yuki care for my older cats when I needed to take a business trip on short notice. One of the cats, Herman, is extremely shy and generally hides when strangers come to the house. So, I scheduled two hour-long visits with the hope (but no expectation) that Herman might warm up to Yuki and make an appearance. To my surprise, he did! When I returned both cats were happy and healthy. In addition, they didn’t seem phased by my absence (which is unusual). I am truly grateful to know that Yuki is available to care for our cats and have already arranged for her to care for them next time I need to travel.”
