We offer the most unique experience for your pets, allowing them to have their own getaway when you have things come up in life. Whether that is planned vacations or when life likes to kick you down, we are here to offer a boarding experience like no other. My family and I have always owned dogs; I grew up with them and trained them all my life. Our family is also part of a rescue. So what better way to use our land than to also take care of other people's dogs! We are located in the northern part of Alamance County. We offer 98 acres of land with several walking trails next to a flowing creek, a clean and swimmable pond with a shallow area, a gated outside area with separate runners for the cool days with a nice breeze, and an inside area with luxury crates equipped with barn doors and beds inside of them for all of our furry visitors to relax and feel right at home! Here at our farm called The Retreat, we want your pet to have their own getaway while you have your own getaway! Currently, we are usually available 24 hours a day for your pet. I work from home as a bookkeeper and as a Realtor, so I’m usually here working from home unless I’m running to show a home. While I’m out, I have my wife and the rest of my family to cover my spot until I return. So, your pet should always have someone here to care for them! Here, your pet will always have someone to care for them throughout the day, so you can trust they are in the best of hands. We also understand that it’s a lot of land, so we offer clip-on air tags for your dog's collar while they stay here for extra safety and surveillance. It is our goal for our furry guests to have a safe and stimulating environment at all times during their stay!

About: My love for animals began when I was growing up surrounded by cats, dogs, horses, ducks, and chickens. Over the years, I’ve also gained experience caring for smaller pets like ferrets, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I work full time Tuesday- Friday but am able for morning and afternoon check-ins, walks, feeding, & playtime! Weekends are pretty open ! I’m comfortable with routines, schedules, feeding times, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. Im a mom and I have dogs of my own, so I’m pretty used to taking care of everyone and keeping up with a routine 😂. When I’m watching someone else’s pets, I really just treat them like they’re my own. I’ll follow whatever routine they’re used to, make sure they’re fed and let out, give them plenty of attention and playtime, and of course lots of cuddles if they’re into that. I’ll also respect your home and leave things the way I found them. I know I’d be nervous leaving my own pets with someone, so I want you to feel comfortable knowing they’re being loved and taken care of while you’re gone. 🐾❤️

About: I've had dogs as pets since I've been a little girl so hand in hand. I've taken care of dogs since I've been a little girl. Every time my dad goes out of town. I watch the animals. I watch the neighbors dogs. Animals always love me because I treat them with the utmost respect and like my own children. I will make sure your dog uses the bathroom regularly. I will walk them if needed and I will show them lots of love so they will not even be sad while you are away. I can even take pictures with your dog and send you pictures and little updates in case you miss your little furry friend while you're on your trip. I love dogs so much and I've always wanted to make money doing something I love. That's why I have come to this app to work. Pet care fits in my daily and weekly routine. Right now I am in college and only have to focus on taking classes. So I have a lot of free time. Other than that, I have my own transportation and I can travel to different cities to watch your pets and your home!. I care for pets with the upmost respect. I follow all the rules given. If I have any questions at all I will text and call immediately. If watching your home I can also do some cleaning for you for when you get back so everything is in order.
