We offer the most unique experience for your pets, allowing them to have their own getaway when you have things come up in life. Whether that is planned vacations or when life likes to kick you down, we are here to offer a boarding experience like no other. My family and I have always owned dogs; I grew up with them and trained them all my life. Our family is also part of a rescue. So what better way to use our land than to also take care of other people's dogs! We are located in the northern part of Alamance County. We offer 98 acres of land with several walking trails next to a flowing creek, a clean and swimmable pond with a shallow area, a gated outside area with separate runners for the cool days with a nice breeze, and an inside area with luxury crates equipped with barn doors and beds inside of them for all of our furry visitors to relax and feel right at home! Here at our farm called The Retreat, we want your pet to have their own getaway while you have your own getaway! Currently, we are usually available 24 hours a day for your pet. I work from home as a bookkeeper and as a Realtor, so I’m usually here working from home unless I’m running to show a home. While I’m out, I have my wife and the rest of my family to cover my spot until I return. So, your pet should always have someone here to care for them! Here, your pet will always have someone to care for them throughout the day, so you can trust they are in the best of hands. We also understand that it’s a lot of land, so we offer clip-on air tags for your dog's collar while they stay here for extra safety and surveillance. It is our goal for our furry guests to have a safe and stimulating environment at all times during their stay!

And if your dog is a couch potato 🥔 they can cozy up on the dog couch and enjoy their vacation in peace! 🏝️🐕💛 If you book with me your dog will experience a safe, fun, peaceful environment to where they will be excited to come back again! 🐾🎾 it is the opposite of when they go to the vet and have their tail tucked all nervously- your dog will have their tail wagging in the wind and jumping of joy as soon as you pull into my driveway because they know this is the place for fun and relaxation!! 🥳🥰🙌 All activities are very structured here. All dogs are supervised at all times when they are not crated, and when they are crated they are supervised by a camera I have connected to an app in my phone! Things are very structured in a sense of safety, behavior, and peace within all of the dogs during their stay. That’s where being a dog trainer comes in handy and the dogs can have fun while being in a calm state of mind! 😉🧘‍♀️💗🐾 I have three large dog yards- two are fenced in with 6ft privacy fence, and one yard is 6ft chain link fence. They can go potty, play, sun bathe, play in the dog pool, or just enjoy the fresh air. This is also nice if your dog isn’t aloud around other dogs- they will have their own large area to do their business and enjoy their time outdoors in a safe private area too!! 😌❤️ Cats love it here too! 🐈🐈‍⬛ your furry baby will get to enjoy toys, lick mats, cat castles and scratching boards. Even some cat nip if they’d like 🤪😸, and plenty of cuddles to “make biscuits”. 🥰🐾 If your dog can’t be around other dogs or cats, that is no problem here. I have plenty of room to give dogs and cats their own private space to still keep them at peace and accommodate to their needs during their stay! I like to match personalities within dogs so they can make great friends while they are on their vacation too!! It is also no problem if your dog/cat is on any medications as well- they will be issued them as directed during their stay and I am well experienced with that as well, so don’t worry about that! ❤️‍🩹🩺🐾 I always send plenty of updates by text with photos and videos during their stay so you don’t feel left out as I know it’s hard to leave our fur babies while we’re away! 📲📸🥰 If you book with me I can assure you your fur babies will have a blast and want to come back for more, there is plenty of love to go around here and I hope to meet your furry companions soon! 💞🐕🐕‍🦺🦮🐩🐈‍⬛🐈💞 I currently am a dog trainer, though I am still flexible and available to schedule at your convenience! Sometimes my mornings can be quite busy, but I will always do everything I can to exhaust all measures in making sure scheduling you isn’t a problem! I have 4 dogs- 2 German shepherds and 2 shepherd mix breeds. 3 are female 1 is male. I have 1 male indoor cat and 5 outdoor cats. I can assure your fur baby won’t feel lonely with the company of my own companions!! 💞 -I have multiple different rooms your fur baby can stay in if they need their own private space. -3 large fenced in yards. -structured play time with other dogs and solo play time. -pack walks and solo walks -public outings/hikes -crated when unsupervised to ensure safety of all dogs -enrichment toy/puzzle time each day to mentally stimulate and help soothe your dog -endless cuddles and love to go around 💗🥰🐾

About: My love for animals began when I was growing up surrounded by cats, dogs, horses, ducks, and chickens. Over the years, I’ve also gained experience caring for smaller pets like ferrets, hamsters, and guinea pigs. Spending time with animals has always been therapeutic for me, and I would love the opportunity to give your pets the same care, attention, and love I give my own. I work full time Tuesday- Friday but am able for morning and afternoon check-ins, walks, feeding, & playtime! Weekends are pretty open ! I will do my best to keep your babies on schedule I can crate dogs I have space to have cats on their own, with own litter box and bowls I have a fenced in dog area where i can take pups to get the zoomies out

About: I grew up on a farm taking care of all kinds of animals! I took care of cows, horses, pigs, goats, chickens, quails, frogs, dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, hamsters and rats! I have always been a major animal lover and continue to be! I love spending time with my pets and for my friends and families pets too! I currently am remote Purchasing Associate for a national dermatology company. My shifts are usually about 5 hours long, which gives me lots of time to spend with the fur friends. I usually run my dog in the morning and evening, and spend time with her at the park and other places I go to. Sometimes Cardi, Boat and I just like to hang out in the yard and have a cup of coffee! I often take walks and go to the park and many other places. When I pet sit for my friends and family I work with what they have in their home. At my home I also have a long lead so they can safely play in the yard!

I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. About: I've had dogs as pets since I've been a little girl so hand in hand. I've taken care of dogs since I've been a little girl. Every time my dad goes out of town. I watch the animals. I watch the neighbors dogs. Animals always love me because I treat them with the utmost respect and like my own children. I will make sure your dog uses the bathroom regularly. I will walk them if needed and I will show them lots of love so they will not even be sad while you are away. I can even take pictures with your dog and send you pictures and little updates in case you miss your little furry friend while you're on your trip. I love dogs so much and I've always wanted to make money doing something I love. That's why I have come to this app to work. Pet care fits in my daily and weekly routine. Right now I am in college and only have to focus on taking classes. So I have a lot of free time. Other than that, I have my own transportation and I can travel to different cities to watch your pets and your home!. I care for pets with the upmost respect. I follow all the rules given. If I have any questions at all I will text and call immediately. If watching your home I can also do some cleaning for you for when you get back so everything is in order.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life ranging from 5lbs to 50+lbs. Dogs have always been a significant part of my life, and I love caring for dogs for friends and family. I’m available weekends for boarding. I am also available most weekdays after work. I will only take your dogs if I’m 100% sure I will be available and with them for their specific needs. I have a loving dog to play with your dog, or I can keep them separated if you like. I let your dog roam my house always, unless you prefer them to be crated with a crate provided. They are also welcome to sleep wherever they want whether that be with me in bed or on the floor/couch - whatever makes them comfortable.

About: I’ve had animals all my life. I have volunteered for a rescue since adopting my first guy 7 years ago. I foster for the rescue and facilitate adoptions. Since beginning that journey I started working at a training/boarding facility under a behaviorist where I obtained my CPDT-KA. Now I am on the road and I’d like to work with dogs in a way allows flexibility in my schedule. I am newly on the road, I will be in Pelham, NC area for a few months. This gives me ample time and flexibility during the day to take care of your pets! I am used to being able to board dogs at my house. However, with the life change of living in a camper two dogs I will make myself available for visits in your home.
