“I left my 70 lb American Bulldog with Michelle for about 4 hours while I visited Bandelier National Monument where dogs are not allowed. She took great care of Venus. I was worried because she has a small dog and there was an incident with my dog where a small dog went after Venus and she responded in turn, causing some injury. But Michelle introduced them slowly and they ended up playing together - now I know it is not small dogs that are the problem but aggressive dogs that make her feel like she is under attack and needs to defend herself.”

About: I am an avid pet-loving Minnesota native who would love to watch your pet & house-sit while you are away. I moved to NM in August and can't wait to continue to meet new pets! I do exceptional dog walking, dog and cat sitting, and house sitting as needed at clients homes. I take great pride in my pet-sitting job and hold it to a high standard regarding time spent with pets, walks, and cuddles. Pet care has been a crucial part of my early twenties lifestyle. I have always been an animal lover, but cannot own a pet myself due to where I live. If I am able to watch someone's furry friends, it makes my day! I keep pets food schedules as close to what they are used to as possible, as well as stay overnight, play with them, and take them on walks. I love to explore my clients backyard when I am pet sitting, whether that be a trail to follow, a pond to walk around, or a neighborhood to admire. I am an avid walker, so we will certainty go on a long walk. I am always mindful of traffic and keep pets on their leash, unless specific directions are given. Safety is my top priority.

About: I've owned and taken care of dogs since I was 12. Ive helped friends potty train and crate train puppies. I cared for my senior dog for many years before he passed in 2024. Ive fostered animals through animal shelters as well as helped rehome friends and family pets when needed. Ive taken care of friends pets as well as family. If you have any further questions please dont hesitate to ask! (: I am a stay at home mom. We wake up early and I usually stay up late tidying and taking care of our other pets. We only leave for short periods during the day. Your pet and my children will not be left alone at anytime. I have a large fenced back yard. I also have a friendly medium sized dog named Halo who would love to keep your companion company. I can crate over night or during breaks as long as you bring an appropriate sized kennel for them. I may have one on hand if it is a weekly appointment.

About: I worked for ADW where I trained service dogs. High passion for animals. Walk, bathe, feed and train etc. I have four years of experience. I'm currently home from college for the summer and am working part-time. I have plenty of time to dog walk, dog sit, overnight etc. Available weekdays and weekends anytime. About: I grew up overseas in a family that seemed to always have at least four dogs at home. My first dog (that truly felt like my own) was Lapsi, a beautiful crossbreed, that followed us home one day and never left. She went on to live with us for 16 years, giving birth to several generations of pups that we took care of and distributed across the Valley into caring family homes. In The States my first dog was not actually mine, but my freshman roommate's chestnut lab that he brought from home and that we both took care of - and now, full circle, my current roommates have 3 dogs! I think that qualifies me as a dog person, even if only by association. Throughout it all, I have learned to love our furry friends in all their variety: to receive love from them, to take care of them, watch over them, and even occasionally take urgent action to protect their well being. Pets have been a big part of my life and I'd love to share this enthusiasm with you. In the end it's a relationship that requires a little bit of nurturing and a whole lot of love. Cheers thanks for considering me! I'm currently in between work so I have ample time to afford your animal. In the heat, I find it's best to walk out side of peak hours - but depending on the naimal I am willing to forage in the midday heat. I have a compound with an animal gate that can provide security for most sizes of animals. It's important that all animals have spaces that are appropriate for them and if not that they can access a space that's suits them on a daily basis.

About: Raised, trained & showed Brittany Spaniels for 25 yrs. Owned rabbits, multiple cats & different dog breeds while living in the country on 20 plus acres. Recently put down my 24 yr old tuxedo shelter cat, "Serenity". I live in an ideal neighborhood close to the plaza, trails & Marcy Community Park for walking your pet. My backyard is enclosed. I very much look forward to meeting & caring for your pet. I have often been told I am "a pet magnet." I am a retired 72 year old single gal so I have lots of time to devote to your pet. I enjoy frequent walks in my neighborhood. Hiking is a possibility if owner agrees. I have an enclosed backyard. I do not have children nor do I smoke. I would walk your pet on a leash frequently & create space & a distance from other dogs. Written instructions would be preferable about your pet.
