“Akaycia was absolutely amazing! She came over to meet Tenchi (my dog) before we left on vacation and my dog instantly loved her. She came over and hung out with her, took her for walks each time (she did this on her own) reported exactly how she was doing, potty breaks, and I also got lots of great pictures! I’ve never been away from my dog who is 10 before and she made me feel comfortable and kept in contact so I knew she was doing well. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation. About: I have taken care of dogs in one way or another for most of my life. I have had a pet, either a dog, cat, hamster or a horse all of my life. A couple of years ago I started sitting for friends pets and the last six months of last year I worked for a couple who ran a pet sitting business. I did dog walking, cat feeding and care, and some overnight visits. I am not an expert trainer but I went through all the puppy classes with my border collie and spent a couple of years training for agility. I am semi retired so I have a very flexible schedule. I work at home on my online business. I can easily accommodate pet sitting visits round my schedule. I am very cautious when taking care of other peoples pets because I know how important they are to their families. My own dog is a treasured part of our family.

About: Animals are my passion. I’ve taken care of many different types of dogs/cats of different ages and sizes. Through my years of experience, it’s easier to coax the most timid of animals into being my buddy. I like to learned and study what each animal needs or wants! So they are the most comfortable with me and on walks. I can check on animals mornings, midday through the afternoon and night. I’m free most weekends so any overnight stays would be fine with me. I would traditionally prefer animals to be in their own home. I know it can be stressful enough for an owner to leave their animals so I’d like for them to be the most comfortable in their own home.
