Since my kids are getting older and don’t need as much help, I have time to take care of your precious pets when you need it! I’m here to take care of everyone! I have a good sized yard and a nice wooded park with walking paths nearby for daily walks and outside time. About: I have had both dogs and cats my entire life. I had 2 golden retrievers as a child and have had 3 cats throughout my life. My rescue cat Frisky was with me for 23 years! I have informally done dog sitting and cat sitting for most of my life. I have pet sat animals with all types of temperaments. I believe there are no bad dogs or cats. About: For my senior year of high school I went to a trade school to get my vet assistant certification. I graduated and received my certificate. In the program I was taught basic grooming nails, ears, and even shaving. Everyday we would walk the classroom dogs and interact with them. After high school I worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months before I ended up without a car and wasn’t able to drive the distance to work anymore. Looking for something to do on the side as I work a full time job but never wanted to give up working with animals as it’s my passion. I have a almost year old Pitsky puppy (pitbull/husky) named Dior. He is my such a sweetheart and loves to be around other dogs as well. Over the years I have watched my coworkers dogs, my uncles dog when he got fixed and had to wear a cone during the day so my uncle wasn’t able to watch him since he had to work, etc. I can’t wait to meet and interact with your furry friends and give them a special place in my heart as well💕 I work full time during the week but I always have evenings available to drop ins or walks. About: I have taken care of dogs in one way or another for most of my life. I have had a pet, either a dog, cat, hamster or a horse all of my life. A couple of years ago I started sitting for friends pets and the last six months of last year I worked for a couple who ran a pet sitting business. I did dog walking, cat feeding and care, and some overnight visits. I am not an expert trainer but I went through all the puppy classes with my border collie and spent a couple of years training for agility. I am semi retired so I have a very flexible schedule. I have taken care of families pets and homes since I was around 10 and have had my own pet care experience since I was around 6. Pets are family. And with me, they will be treated as such! I am currently avalible after 5pm M-F I’d be available all weekdays after that time for evening walks or care. Weekends I’m available all day. “Amanda was extremely helpful, attentive, and reliable when we needed to board our doggie, Gastón. She was flexible in us bringing homemade food for the 4 days Gastón would be staying with her and she gave me all of his things back in pristine condition. On the evening of our pickup, our flight was delayed by close to 1 hour, which pushed back our pickup time. She was extremely understanding when we communicated this with her. We offered to pick him up the next morning, but she shared that she is fine with us picking him up late that evening, which we definitely really appreciated! Also, Gastón gets dirty faster than other breeds, but Amanda kept him clean and he came back to us in the same condition we brought him at the start of boarding. Last but not least, Amanda shared updates with us for all 4 days, sending us photos of our lovebug and letting us know how he was doing that day. It relieved a lot of anxiety for us while we were away. We are extremely grateful for all the careful attention Amanda paid to our pup and will definitely be leaving Gastón with her again!”
