“We have a long-haired Persian Himalayan cat who requires special care. This was our first time using a sitter and the Rover app, and we were very nervous since we were leaving for three weeks on the other side of the country. Erica was one of the first to respond to my message, and right away she put me at ease. I really appreciated her initiative to meet us and our cat beforehand. She was always punctual and friendly, carefully listened to all the details we shared, and followed the detailed instructions I had written about our cat’s habits and needs. Our cat is very timid but also affectionate and loving. It took Erica about five days to earn her trust. After that, she played with her, cleaned the litter box, refreshed the water, gave probiotics, brushed her fur, and wiped her eyes - everything was done with great care. At first, she checked in with us about some steps, but soon everything ran smoothly. Every visit included lots of photos, occasional videos, and a short description of how things went. We knew we had made the right choice leaving our cat in her care, and our little one was clearly content. We will definitely reach out to Erica again for our next vacation.”

About: My kids and I have two medium dogs and one cat we adore. We’ve watched friend’s dogs, cats and bunnies. We have time to help neighbors take care of their pets. My children will be assisting under my supervision. I work full-time from home. I have two medium size dogs very playful and one young cat. They get along. With my two kids (8 & 15) home for the summer, I have the extra hands to sit other’s pets. We have a big backyard and well fenced to run and play. Also, we have a large coved patio that provides lots of shade to cool down.

“This is the 3rd time we have used Tim to watch our pups & it was our biggest challenge! THIS time we left 5 in his care that varied from 9lbs-80lbs & 2yrs old-13yrs old. Two of our fur babies have never been taken care of by anyone other than a close family member & normally always travel with us but circumstances did not allow this trip. In the past, we would have adjusted our travel plans & someone would have had to stay home but because of our past experience with Tim & our trust in him, we all were able to enjoy a family trip together. I have experience caring for pets of all ages, from puppies as young as two weeks old to senior dogs up to 18 years old. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply relaxing, I'll make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. I treat every pet like they're part of my own family, and I'll love and care for your fur baby like the king or queen they are. I'm currently a university student with a very flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pet's care. Since I'm not working another job, I'm able to accommodate a variety of schedules, provide frequent potty breaks, and give your pet lots of attention throughout the day. Whether you need daycare, overnight care, drop-in visits, or walks, I'll do my best to work around your schedule and your pet's routine. Your pet's comfort and safety are always my top priorities. I have a spacious, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and go outside whenever they need to. At home, I typically let my own dogs out every 2–3 hours and spend time playing with them outside, so any dogs staying with me will receive the same level of care and attention. I also love taking dogs on walks, especially early in the morning when it's cooler outside, so they can get plenty of exercise without having to deal with the Texas heat. I'll always follow your pet's usual routine as closely as possible and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing they're in good hands.

About: I've lived on a small farm since I was 10 where I've bathed, fed, and cared for multiple dogs, cats, chickens, goats and a bunny. Including puppies and kittens. Friends and family have relied on me to pet sit, provide grooming, medications, walks, and feed their pets. Often times stray animals will make their way into our yard and if they are injured, I'll care for them, feed them and foster them until I can identify their owners. I love all animals and consider each and every one of my pets as family. I am available during the morning and evenings on the weekdays, weekends, and on most holidays to care for your fur baby! At minimum, I spend an hour each visit to ensure your pet(s) are fed, clean, has had time to play and overall gets plenty of love and attention. In your home, I respect and take care of the home and pet(s) as if they were my own. I create a fun, safe and comfortable space for both the owner and pet(s) as I continuously provide updates and/or photos of the pet(s) to the owners during each visit. Depending on the rules from the pet owner, at night I will ensure the pet(s) do get crated and are inside and safe for bedtime and dinner.
