About: I have a degree in animal science and work as a dog trainer and activity associate at a pet hotel. I have been taking care of dogs for 8 years and I have trained guide dogs and cared for them. I am flexible with scheduling due to my job. I also cared for cats at a cat hospital for pre and post surgery. I was a trail rider instructor in Iowa where I would take care of horses I also worked at a horse breeding operation where we fed and washed horses as well as fed them their medication. I am knowledgeable in animal nutrition specifically for cats, dogs, and horses. I own a chocolate lab named Charlie that I love! I will treat your pets with the same care as I would with Charlie.

“Betsy took such great care of our three kitties while we were out of town. One of them has daily oral medications and specific food and Betsy was up for the task! She spent time with them and gave them pets and love. We would definitely use Betsy again!”

About: I worked with shelter dogs for 2 years, mostly walking and taking care of sick dogs. I’ve met really wonderful people on Rover who have taken care of my dog and now I want to do the same for others. I work 8 hour shifts on weekday evenings, so I have the entire morning and early afternoon to walk dogs and check in on your fur-baby (cats and other animals included). My schedule works perfectly for “normal” 9-5 jobs. If you have atypical schedule, I’ll try to work with you! I can play with your fur baby in your yard or if your doggie likes to rest, we can watch YouTube videos together on the couch. I will be getting a fenced in yard this spring (currently unfenced) and I have a high energy doggie companion to keep your pup entertained.

About: I have one dog and two cats, so i have a long road of pet experience behind me. I also would petsit my parents friends foster animals, neighbors pets and my grandmothers two cats, and had lots of fun doing so! I currently work full time but am planning on starting part time, one of my hobbies is hiking so i always have time to walk dogs. I often take my dog on frequent walks and let her outside to go potty, I do not take my cats outside but I play with them frequently.

About: I have two weiner dogs and a chunky cat that I spoil rotten! I can’t wait to do the same for your pets. ♡ My whole life I have provided care for neighbor and friend’s cats and dogs— I always considered that my first official job! I also have experience shadowing and interning at my hometown vet office. I now work remotely in Ely and can easily be there to walk and/or drop in on your pet(s)! I work remotely from home, so I can be there to provide care for your pets during the working hours (M-F, 8am-5pm). I will prioritize time with your pets! (Based on my life schedule, I am also available for select weeknight & weekend care.) I always walk my dogs, Linus & Louie, on a leash or harness to keep them safe on walks/hikes, and I provide only the best care for him in terms of food, health, and love. I am familiar with many dog behaviors and can adjust to care for your dogs special needs.

Hannah H.
“Hi! My names Mahek and i’ve had Hannah take care of my 6 cats multiple times! i’ve had to go on month long vacations often due to family purposes, and throughout the whole month, Hannah has made sure to go visit my furry babies every day, and update me with pictures, videos, and video calls! She’s excellent at efficiency and keeping the area clean, she even went the extra mile to buy her own treats for the cats and confirm with me if it was okay to feed them the treats the had purchased! She’s pet-sat my cats over 8 times, each time about 3-4 weeks long, and they absolutely love her! I wouldn’t choose anybody else as my pet-sitter besides Hannah Hillan! Thank you Hannah!”

Tove W.
“You would be lucky to have Tove care for your pet(s)! Tove has a long history of caring for animals and understands what is required to make sure they are safe and happy. She will make your pet "smile" and wag! Tove goes above and beyond the minimum needed to feed and water a pet. She will love on the pet and make sure that she leaves the pet happier than when she arrived! Tove stayed in our home when we had to travel out of town and cared for our cats and our elderly dog who was having a hard time walking. She kept us notified on their status and sent photos and updates. She is smart and was able to get our dog in and out of the home in the snow without issue and kept him eating and comfortable. She also kept our home clean, safe and secure. I would not hesitate to hire Tove again! She's fantastic and animals love her.”
