About: I always had a cat when I was growing up. I grew up on a resort and occasionally guests brought their cats with them. I would make drop in visits to feed them, make sure they had water and cleaned the litter boxes. As an adult, I had cats . I love cats 🐈 !! I hand fed a kitten who was abandoned by it's wild mother. The kitten was so weak and sick that I fed her with a small syringe and gave her medicine with an eye dropper until she was strong enough to eat on her own. Her name was Eeney.
“Betsy took such great care of our three kitties while we were out of town. One of them has daily oral medications and specific food and Betsy was up for the task! She spent time with them and gave them pets and love. We would definitely use Betsy again!”

About: While I love all animals cats take the cake for melting my heart. I value respecting their pacing as I recognize not all cats are immediate cuddle bugs. I'm also experienced with administering medications too as my cat needed daily meds in her final days.

“So happy to have Kelly serving this area! They're truly caring with my pets. I had to adjust the schedule because of an unplanned visit, and Kelly was super flexible and understanding. I'd definitely recommend Kelly and her reliable assistant to anyone looking for a great pet sitter! Thank you Kelly and Ryan.”

About: I have both professional and personal dog care experience While I was growing up, there was always at least one animal in our house. I also have experience training puppies for an organization called Custom Canines Service Dog Academy (CCSDA), out of Madison, WI. With CCSDA, I raised two golden retrievers, one who went on to become a total access service dog for a veteran and her family. Training includes a lot of socialization and bringing the dogs everywhere to get them used to being out in public and working amidst distractions as well as obedience and special skills training. I most recently worked in Ely, Minnesota at a sled dog yard. Responsibilities included feeding dogs, handling the dogs, basic doggie first aid check-ups after each run and more while managing the working dogs. I have learned a lot about animal behavior through those experiences, and I am very comfortable around all types of dogs. Currently I am in a bit of a transition, I just got back from traveling and I am in GB, working and taking a class. Using this as a side gig to make a little bit of extra money before I move to Maine in the spring. I am available on weekdays between 9 am and 9 pm and most weekends as well. I can be pretty flexible as to which days and times I am available, so just reach out and we can work something out! I am living with three dogs at the moment. My family has two loving labs (7 & 5) who get on well with each other and other dogs. My sister also has a golden retriever in the house who is 1 year old. I love to take the three dogs for walks around the neighborhood and because they are friendly and get on well with other dogs, we occasionally make trips to the dog parks in the area. It is unlikely, but if I have one of the dogs with me, I would definitely clear that to make sure it is okay with you and your pets first.
About: I have one dog and two cats, so i have a long road of pet experience behind me. I also would petsit my parents friends foster animals, neighbors pets and my grandmothers two cats, and had lots of fun doing so! I currently work full time but am planning on starting part time, one of my hobbies is hiking so i always have time to walk dogs. I often take my dog on frequent walks and let her outside to go potty, I do not take my cats outside but I play with them frequently.

“We were camping nearby and wanted to go into town for the day. We found Kelly on her son watched our 2 huskies and he was great! He took our dogs on a nice, scenic walk and sent us a video. One of our dogs is very strong and pulls and he handled him well. Highly recommend Kelly!”

About: I grew up on a resort near Ely, MN and when I was 10, I started pet sitting for the guests so they could go fishing for the day and not worry about getting back to take them out or feed them. Over the years I've had 6 dogs and 8 cats of my own so am familiar with loving, training and caring for them. I have helped friends by making house visits to take their dogs out for potty breaks, feeding and playing. I know how important it is to find someone reliable and trustworthy to care for our beloved pets. I am retired but do work part time helping a friend with household chores and driving him to appointments and shopping. I have a dog of my own, a double doodle who is almost 2 years old. Her name is Phoebe. When I care for pets in their own home, I follow the instructions from the owner. If the yard is fenced in, I let them out, make sure they have food and water and play with them if they like that. If there's no fence, I take them out on the leash and go for walks. I clean up after the dogs when needed.
