About: I’ve owned and sit for pets my entire life, from rats and cats to dogs and frogs & everything furry in between! I’m semi-retired and have loads of time and attention to give. I’m currently semi-retired, and work 2 afternoons a week at a doggy daycare, so I am totally flexible, and have tons of time and attention to give your pet! I have a 4 level home with ample space to roam and play, or private cat rooms indoors if you prefer. I also have a large fenced yard with a turf dog run.

“Victor was great! He is very knowledgeable about dogs and eased any of my worries when it came to my anxious pup! I appreciated his attention to detail and updates. I will definitely be using his services again!”

“Very friendly and great at communicating. Fen loves his walks :)”

About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats and I love getting to spent time with them and get to know them. I’ve dog and cat sit before for neighbors before and have had the best time with their pets. I have a puppy of my own now and he is my best friend:) Right now I’m home for the summer and normally available. The fall should be open too but I will keep this updated once it gets closer:) I currently am not having other animals staying over because we have a hectic house of three. I care for pets in my clients home based on their preference and my knowledge of what animals like most.

“We have a reactive dog that needs time, space and discipline. Sidney is very friendly, understanding and willing to work with us to make our pup comfortable. We are happy to book her again!”

About: I can’t live without dogs around! I got a pit bull right after college and never looked back. 🤣 I’ve had 2-3 of my own rescues for the last 15 years, and I’ve fostered and dog-sat I work from home, and I have a fenced-in yard. My dogs go in and out frequently throughout the day (but there are rules for them when they’re outside- no barking at neighbors, no fence-fighting.) Any visitors need to be able to be alone for up to 2 hours to accommodate short appointments and breaks. Dogs are fed twice a day in their crates or a separate room. They love to play-wrestle, which we fondly refer to as “biteyface.” Dogs are allowed on furniture but not in my bedroom. I require a meet-and-greet before any daycare or boarding because one of my dogs needs a slow intro to new people. I use a spray bottle to spritz the dogs when they get too wound up or break rules (ie counter-surfing, chewing the furniture.)

“My pup was really excited to walk with Jayde again and enjoy the beautiful weather. She returned so happy and wagging and calm! We’re very pleased with another great visit. Would highly recommend!”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10. My family has a doodle and I grew up with him. I graduated last year and I started raising a golden retriever. Her name is Yumi and she is 8 months old now. She has a great personality and there is no dog she can not get along with! I worked at home on weekends and I'm mostly available on holidays. Weekday schedule depends on my research and class schedule. I'm pretty flexible and open to same-day reservations. I have a dog-proofed apartment. If you have a puppy who is not fully house-trained I will be able to take care of him/her. Dogs are allowed on couches and their beds.

“Nick walked our dog while we worked. He was reliable and had no problems with our dog. Will book again in the future!”

About: I'm currently in school for my RN. I have worked in Hospice for a few years now, and for awhile I provided doggy hospice for my last pup (Callie) that passed in January of 2022, she was with me almost 17 years. I now have a crazyyyy puppy. I live less than 5 minutes from my job so my pup gets a lot of my time. I do work around 2-4 days a week so I'm looking to fill my free time with more pups and I know my puppy is craving someone to play with. Each dog I care for is cared for in different ways, no care is the same. Some are very high energy and require time and patience. Others are more timid and don't need as much couching.

About: I’ve been taking care of cats, dogs, farm animals (chickens, goats), fish, and exotic animals since I was 18. There’s no animal too big or too small! I’ve provided both day and night care, and handled meals, walks, potty breaks, medications, and cleaning. I currently work full-time, 1st shift, as well as am a full-time online student until May. I typically have lots of time available in the evenings and nights! Weekends are generally flexible for me too! I would love to board your animals in my home! But, they must be friendly with both dogs and cats as I have one of each who are very sweet and get along with everyone! All supplies will need to be dropped off with your furry friend as well as I don’t have extra kennels (if your pup uses one) or extra supplies.

“Monica is wonderful! She is so great with our dog Lily. She is very punctual and communicative. You can tell she really cares and has a passion for spending time with dogs. We feel so lucky to have her help and would highly recommend her to anyone!”

About: I’m a school counselor (on hiatus) stay at home mom. I have 29+ years of experience pet sitting (starting when I was 8), with 15 of those years being professional dog handling when I used to help raise and train guide dogs for blind people. I have been using a similar dog boarding app for the last few years so I’m starting fresh on Rover but I assure you I’m experienced. I have a friendly pet dog and chickens. What can I offer? I can board your dog at my home or do home visits. I can help with minor dog training. And I’m experienced in several other animals. I have a fenced yard. I’m comfortable with big dogs and dogs with behavioral challenges (case by case). I’ve rescued 4 Rottweilers in the past with unique behavior issues. Why me? I’m particularly in-tune to animal needs, especially when their owners are away. I send lots of pictures and do what I can to keep them comfy. Your privacy is important to me. I respect the vulnerability of letting a “stranger” into your home or being responsible to keep your pet safe. Let’s discuss what I can do for you and your pet. Use this promo code to give pet owners new to Rover $20 off their first booking. Your Promo Code: LINDSS45396 I’m home during the day. Your dog becomes part of my “pack” during their stay, built around their comfort level. I have one pet dog and 2 small kids. Sometimes I have other boarded dogs but I’ll always confirm with both dogs’ families before I book an overlap. I have an infant and toddler that typically travel to gigs with me. Unless I can get my husband to take them after work hours. And two step daughters age 9&10. I put your pets needs as a priority, so if your pet isn’t fond of children, I won’t let my kids bug them. Boarding: dogs spend their stay in the ground floor of my home which is a large space with backyard access. We have a fenced yard. I do require your dog to be crated when I leave the home to run errands. This is for their safety and comfort. If you don’t want your dog interacting with mine, I am experienced in keeping dogs separate and safe. I’ve boarded/sat at least 100 dogs and I’ve never had any issues. Sitting: I can do the basics such as feeding and potty and meds. Plus, I can take your dog for walks or play in your yard. If you prefer, after all your pets cares are complete, I can arrange to bring my computer and work my remote job at your home for a couple hours a day to spend time with your pet. Or watch a movie with them.
