About: I have over 30 years experience training dogs. I am able to dog sit from my home full time. I recently moved to a large property in the country, that is a short 35 minute drive from Madisons west side. I have a acer that is completely fenced in and I am more than happy to offer pick up and drop off to the west side of Madison. About: I genuine care and give attention to every dog as if they were my own. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs. I’m comfortable working with puppies who are still learning routines, including basic training and potty schedules, and I’m also gentle and mindful with senior dogs who may need slower walks, medication reminders, or extra comfort. My goal is to make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved while their owner is away. I currently work only 2 days out of the week, but my schedule is very flexible, and can switch days if need be! “We are looking to find someone to board Ollie with for weekends. To start him out slow (he has separation anxiety), we had a Meet and Greet, a short (3hr) stay and later, a full day stay. Julie was clear that her dog Zilla's comfort with Ollie was a priority, which I fully support. I won't want to trust my dog to someone who isn't looking out for ALL the dogs involved. Julie was very responsive with messages, showed us around her home and yard and was generally very calm and patient. While the dogs didn't end up getting along well enough for this to work out long term, Ollie warmed up to Julie and was definitely as calm as I've seen him after being left.”

For home visits. My 2 littles tag along with me. Unless I can get my partner to take them after work hours. My home has backyard access with a fence (4 foot tall chain link and 6 foot tall privacy fence along the road side). If you don’t want your dog interacting with mine, I am experienced in keeping dogs separate and safe. I’ve boarded/raised over 100 dogs and I’ve never had any issues with dogs getting loose or scuffling. Sitting in your home: I can do the basics such as feeding and potty. I can take your dog for walks or play in your yard and spend some time with them in your home.
About: I’ve grown up in a household that has always had at least two dogs, usually 3. We also have 3 indoor-outdoor cats. I am now a student at UW Madison, and I have a 5yr old heeler shepherd mix. I currently live in an apartment in downtown Madison, therefore I do not have a yard for your fur baby to play in. However, I have a handy mom van with me to take to any pre-approved parks or any other destinations that you and I would discuss!
About: My pet-sitting experiences include looking after both cats and dogs day to day and for extended periods of time. When taking care of cats, I make sure they have clean water and food at all times; keep their environment clean; watch over them and see if they are healthy; and interact with them by playing with them on a daily basis. I also have experience caring for dogs of various sizes and energy levels. Making sure their fed, walked, groomed, and cleaning up any messes/ their environment. In addition always making sure they have access to clean drinking water and providing plenty of playtime and attention. I occasionally take care of a family friend’s dog who has arthritis. I help keep her comfortable through gentle massages, giving her medication as directed, and hand-feeding her when necessary. In doing so, I learned to be patient and attentive in caring for an animal's individual needs. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals. I always go the extra mile into taking good care of animals, ensuring their safety, and comfort in the absence of their owners. I treat every pet as if they were my own and doing everything I can to ensure their happiness. I am extremely flexible with regards to my schedule, and can be available for the most part of the day. I wake up early, so feeding and taking the animals for walk won't be a problem at all. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I value their safety, trust, and maintaining a calm and familiar environment for their pet. It is important for me to carefully follow all the instructions concerning their feeding schedule, treatment, taking medication, and other specific care. It goes without saying that I make sure that the pets receive proper meals and have clean water to drink. I also try to keep the house as clean as possible, including litter boxes for cats and any messes that may occur. I also observe the pets to ensure everything seems normal and they’re healthy. I believe that building trust with both pets and owners is essential, I’ll always provide them with updates and photographs about the current condition of the pets. My goal is to make sure their pet is cared for and mostly importantly happy.
About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a little girl. I grew up in a house who always had some type of animal and learned how to love on them and give them the attention they need. I am currently at home and have a lot of time on my hands. I’m very flexible and cooperative with my schedule and willing to give any animal love and support. I have an invisible fence for my two dogs. One of my dogs has a crate he sleeps in and the other sleeps in whatever bed she wants that night.
