About: I have over 30 years experience training dogs. I am able to dog sit from my home full time. I recently moved to a large property in the country, that is a short 35 minute drive from Madisons west side. I have a acer that is completely fenced in and I am more than happy to offer pick up and drop off to the west side of Madison. About: I love all animals, but cats have always had a special place in my heart. My family adopted a kitten in the year before I was born, and she immediately claimed all the baby gear for herself. She became a protector for her new human, always nearby and keeping an eye on anyone who came near me. She was the first of many cats and a few dogs, all ranging in age, personality, and needs. I adopted my own kitten in 2020, Saturn, and he is my entire life (and camera roll). He is sassy, loud, HUGE, impossibly soft, and the biggest, grumpiest baby I've ever met. I have a bank of knowledge from personal and professional experience, and I'm often that one friend who has answers to cat-related questions. Each of them are so unique and communicate with us in different ways, and one of my favorite things is learning a cat's mannerisms and likes/dislikes. Even the grumpiest or most aloof cats just need a little patience and learning how they like to interact. I am always down to snuggle or just be in the same room as them, provide different kinds of enrichment with toys or puzzles, or if your kitty is an adventurer, leash time outside. Grooming is always a toss up with cats, but I'm comfortable with the basics - brushing, nail trims, the occassional bath. I'd love to know as much as I can about them ahead of time, including if there are specific needs or accommodations they have.

About: My Lab pups were immediately potty trained at 8 weeks by my carrying them outside upon awakening. All are kind and gentle loving animals that wear smiles on their faces. Very happy. I am retired and flexible. I live at The House on the Rock and love the outdoors, walking the trails and golf. I am also an early riser. About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a kid around 5 years old. I have taken care of dogs all the way from them being puppies to their final days. Young dogs and old dogs and everyone in between all come with their surprises and I will be ready to handle all things! You can trust in me to take the best possible care of your pet! I am able to work from home every other day 90% of the time. When I am working from home I have the freedom and flexibility to be able to take care of dogs whether they come over for the day or they need to be let outside around lunch time. About: I’ve grown up in a household that has always had at least two dogs, usually 3. We also have 3 indoor-outdoor cats. I am now a student at UW Madison, and I have a 5yr old heeler shepherd mix. Throughout her life I have trained her for obedience and herding, and have dealt with low confidence and reactivity with her daily. I am experienced with dogs who are shy and tend to be reactive. I have a part time internship at UW Madison, so I have partially and completely free days every week. That being said, I will have plenty of time to make house visits around this schedule. About: Hi there! My name is Callie. I have recently moved from Virginia and have made a big transition to Wisconsin life. Over the years, I have watched many of my friends beloved pets, and have helped take care of our family dog (a West Highland Terrier) and now our grandparents dog (Jack Russell terrier). While these are smaller and older breeds, I have also taken care of my brothers husky mix, and a golden doodle. I love taking dogs on long walks, of course showing them love and affection, and making sure they are never bored. Old or young, I want to make sure the dog is comfortable with me at all times. I am currently waiting on my job to start, and when it does I will be part time. I will also be attending college soon so my schedule may become a bit limited. However that is in the future so for now I am open to many times throughout the day. I want to make sure the dog is comfortable with me when I enter the home. I know that dogs can become territorial and I want to make sure that they know that I am not a threat. I let dogs approach me in their own time and of course once they are more comfortable they are given many scratches and play time.

They were loving and caring and we are certain that carried on throughout our dogs stay with them. Pictures and updates were sent and they kept to her normal routine, even when sleeping. Our dog was excited to see us again...but was torn and demanding good byes from Kristen, Bruce, and the kids (hoping to go back). Definitely a wonderful experience for us and your dog!”
