About: I have over 30 years experience training dogs. I am able to dog sit from my home full time. I recently moved to a large property in the country, that is a short 35 minute drive from Madisons west side. I have a acer that is completely fenced in and I am more than happy to offer pick up and drop off to the west side of Madison. I'm professional trained as a dog groomer, worked professionally for over 6 years as a groomer, dog trainer and doggie daycare provider. I have also worked as a vet assistant for 2 years in Denver Colorado. About: I am a previous dog owner and current cat mom. I grew up watching dog and cat training shows on TV and going to in person purebred dog and cat show events. I enjoy spending my time with furry friends. I'm a in-home caregiver to my mom so I have lots of time to take care of your pet. I have weekly events on Sundays and Wednesdays, but can easily work around those times. I have a long line for when your pet is outside and lots of patio seating to supervise and play with your pet the whole time. I also have a crate for indoor use.

About: I have been taking care of animals ever since I was little, between dogs, cats, reptiles, and even farm animals such as dairy cows, pigs, goats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I can take care of pets at any time of day or night, and I can walk dogs after 4 pm. Tuesday & Thursday, I do have class from 7-10 am. I was a bit of a cat Momma, often times assisting with extra care like bottle feeding or treating illnesses as they came. Eventually I started taking care of our neighbors animals when they were away. Throughout childhood I had several special cats that became my indoor pets & my first adopted dog at the age of 13. After high school I worked at a stable. My ‘Cat Whisper’ abilities came in handy while here- tending to the cats & ensuring the kittens grew up & had a chance to be healthy, loved barn cats. As a young adult, I cared for my two indoor cats & my Boxer puppy - a dream come true. ADDITIONALLY: I have almost 10 years of experience as a CNA and have completed 1 year of nursing school. You can feel confident knowing that your pet is in capable hands. I’m currently working from home & homeschool my daughter, allowing my weekdays to be flexible. I’m also home most weekends. I’m available for house sitting, drop-in care, walks, and extended care. FOR THOSE LOOKING TO PLAN AHEAD… I have my Spring/ Summer 2027 currently unavailable as I don’t have enough information yet to determine my exact availability. My goal is to make your pet(s) as comfortable, loved, and cared for as if you had never left, and to give you peace of mind while you’re away. I know that every family has a different way of caring for their pets. Therefore, I will work with you to find out how best to care for your animal by asking questions up front before I even step foot in your home. Communication is key. At the end of my visit, I will give you an overview of your pets time with me including sending pictures. If there’s anything else you’re looking for, just ask.
About: I’m a school counselor (on hiatus) stay at home mom. I take pride in providing peace of mind for people during their travel. I have 30+ years of experience pet sitting (starting when I was 8), with 15 of those years being professional dog handling when I used to help raise and train guide dogs for blind people. I have a friendly dog that loves to host guests. He adapts his play style to each dog; if they want to run around, he wants to be chased. If they don’t feel like playing, he will give space. Like many resident male dogs, he often feels uncomfortable with large breed adolescent males, particularly intact. I will make decisions on a case by case basis regarding adolescent males. I do require dogs be crated when unattended in my home for their safety and comfort. We can discuss your dog’s unique needs. Please be sure your animals are up to date on vaccinations and preventative meds (flea/tick and heartworm). What can I offer? I can board your dog (or pet!) at my home or do home visits. I’m experienced in smalls like cats, pocket pets, and birds. I have even cared for people’s hobby farms (horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, etc). I have a fenced yard. I’ve adopted 4 Rottweilers in the past with unique behavior issues and fostered many other breeds so I’m used to handling all types of dogs, including those who need a little time to settle in. I’m home during the day. Your dog becomes part of my “pack”, built around their comfort level. I have one pet dog, two small kids and two teen step daughters. Sometimes I have other boarded dogs but I’ll always confirm with both dogs’ families before I book an overlap. I won’t book a dog if they aren’t a good match for someone already booked. For home visits. My 2 littles tag along with me. Unless I can get my partner to take them after work hours. I put your pets needs as a priority, so if your pet isn’t fond of children, I won’t let my kids bug them. My home has backyard access with a fence (4 foot tall chain link and 6 foot tall privacy fence along the road side). If you don’t want your dog interacting with mine, I am experienced in keeping dogs separate and safe. I’ve boarded/raised over 100 dogs and I’ve never had any issues with dogs getting loose or scuffling. Sitting in your home: I can do the basics such as feeding and potty. I can take your dog for walks or play in your yard and spend some time with them in your home.

I appreciated the fact that Birdy would be exposed to other dogs, the outdoors and cuddles. Lindsay communicated appropriately: enough that I was confident Birdy was well but not so much that I was overly involved. YES! I highly recommend. We love Camp Lindsay. BEYOND THAT: my flight was cancelled for 3 days due to weather and Lindsay was flexible in fitting us in. Then, our return flight was delayed so I got back to town past bedtime. Lindsay was again cheerfully understanding. What a kind person!”

About: I have a dog of my own and I’ve done boarding, drop ins and walks before. I’ve grown up with dogs in the house and have watched family friends dogs numerous amounts of times. I currently work full time (8-4:30) during the week, but can do evenings on week days and any time during weekends! I am very flexible and can make anything work! I can abide by whatever schedules/routines you have in place. If your dog likes to socialize, my dog would be a great buddy! I understand dogs need to follow certain rules and need to be let out/fed in a timely manner.
