About: Hi! I’ve always had a huge love for animals and honestly can’t imagine life without them. I worked at PetSmart for 3 years as a Pet Care Associate, where I cared for all kinds of animals — from dogs and bunnies to lizards and other small pets. That experience taught me so much about animal behavior, patience, and making pets feel comfortable and cared for. I also know the doggy Heimlich maneuver, so your pet’s safety is always something I take seriously. I grew up surrounded by pets and now have two of my own as an adult, so I completely understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your furry family members. About: I have over 30 years experience training dogs. I am able to dog sit from my home full time. I recently moved to a large property in the country, that is a short 35 minute drive from Madisons west side. I have a acer that is completely fenced in and I am more than happy to offer pick up and drop off to the west side of Madison. I'm professional trained as a dog groomer, worked professionally for over 6 years as a groomer, dog trainer and doggie daycare provider. I have also worked as a vet assistant for 2 years in Denver Colorado. I am certified in humane and dog CPR and I graduated with an EMS degree for humans, this training helps me respond to variety of situations with confidence. I was a volunteer at two different Humane Society's for over 12 years. I have fostered, rehabilitated and Rehoused 15 dogs most with serious behavioral issues. I am an avid dog lover and enjoy spending time with my dogs and other people's dogs. I can stay home full time now. I also have a full acer that is fenced and I have walking trails in the country and I still frequently go to the dog park and I am never gone more than 1-2 hours. Rover is away for me to stay home with my dogs and hopefully your dogs. My dogs LOVE having dog friends visit our pack and home.-I am a firm believer in the saying "A tired dog is a good dog".- I have been dog sitting full time for the past year and I enjoy being home all day long. I recently moved and have an acer of fenced land and I am happy to offer pick up and drop off of your pet or we can meet closer to your house. I am only about 30 mins south of Madison. I have a huge fenced yard with extra gates and separate fenced areas to do introductions safely. Dogs are NEVER left unsupervised outside. Your dog’s safety and mine dogs safety is my top priority!

About: I have had dogs since my childhood and have worked with breeds of different sizes and backgrounds, including some with special needs. In my home life, I have two cats that I adore and spend much of my free time with. I’m available all day on weekends, as well as from 5:30pm onward on weekdays (typically). If you have specific requirements for your animal let me know and we can create a schedule that works best for you! I can perform any specific needs that your pet may need. One of my own pets has special medical requirements, so I am familiar with taking care of animals that need extra care.

About: Pets bring us all kinds of joy and unconditional love. It's hard to relax on vacation or focus on an event with a piece of you missing . Be able to be present and ease your mind knowing another caring soul will show your pet the same love and attention they enjoy. I have 10 years of experience with all different breeds and sizes. I work remotely. My office is where the WIFI is the strongest. I have time to spend with animals. My children are grown leaving me with an abundance of free time Soft voices and lots of love and attention. Dogs I like to run and make sure that they have the exercise they need. About: I’ve had animals in every corner of my life, throughout my whole life! I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats all with various needs such as medications, appointments, and mobile assistance. I have also volunteered with Wisconsin WildCare and local humane societies. I am a passionate & fearless animal advocate with speed dial access to a large animal vet and a retired DNR officer. I will treat your pet as my own whether it’s in my home or your home. I work a full time job only seven minutes from my home. My job is incredibly flexible and understanding of my need to let animals out or even leave work early for pet care! I have a balcony that animals can hang out on and a large grassy field that I take animals for walks on. I always keep them leashed. If I want them to be unleashed, I can take them to the local dog park five minutes from my house! I am comfortable with animals on furniture and sleeping in bed with me. I have access to my own crate if the animal is crate trained.

About: Personally, I have a dog and a horse. I have experience taking care of a variety of animals including livestock, dogs, and cats for friends and family over the years. Additionally, I completed a rotation at a vet clinic when I was younger and have experience with giving injectable medications and pills. About: I live with my husband on 5 acres of land. A large back yard portion is fully fenced and has Dog doors for easy access and play. Our home was built with dogs safety and fun in mind! I have had dogs of all sizes my whole life and they are family! I currently have 2 smaller dogs. A Chihuahua mixes and a dachshund. We have taken in and cared for other pets their whole lives so they are very comfortable sharing their space. I've spent the last 15 years employed at a local Veterinary clinic where I have gained experience in all areas of pet Care. I have recently retired and my husband is retired which gives us the freedom to be available at home to be with your pets. I am home full time and my husband is retired so care is available all of the time. We specialize in geriatric dogs and offer care as needed Our home is set up for ease of care for elderly dogs. They can get in and out with one small ramp. Ramps are set up around the home as needed. Part of our large yard stays plowed and open during the winter months for small dogs.

About: I’ve grown up in a household that has always had at least two dogs, usually 3. We also have 3 indoor-outdoor cats. I am now a student at UW Madison, and I have a 5yr old heeler shepherd mix. Throughout her life I have trained her for obedience and herding, and have dealt with low confidence and reactivity with her daily. I am experienced with dogs who are shy and tend to be reactive. I have a part time internship at UW Madison, so I have partially and completely free days every week. That being said, I will have plenty of time to make house visits around this schedule. I have experience training dogs and love hanging out with any breed of dog. I believe dogs need both mental and physical stimulation in order to be fulfilled.

I cultivated other skills as well, including providing enrichment, cleaning their spaces (including animals dealing with various illnesses), meeting dietary needs, grooming, and ensuring safety (animal-animal interactions, animal-person interactions, general safety). I've since moved on from that job, but I have been looking for ways to integrate animal care back into my life. I'd love to do drop in visits, whether thats because you work long hours or are out of town for work or vacation. I adore playing and snuggling with cats (or even just being in the same room as them - especially if theyre shy or a little fiesty with strangers). I'm comfortable walking dogs or letting them out in the yard to run around and play, cleaning up after pets, basic grooming, or just spending a few hours with them and providing enrichment. I am also comfortable with most animals and any age! If there are specific needs your (fur)baby has, I'm more than happy to accommodate. I work two jobs in mental health care, both with flexible hours that change week-to-week. I often have time between client visits or jobs, and am available on weekends. Overall availability ranges from 7am - 8pm. I can't do overnight stays or have other animals in my home, as it would be too stressful on my own cat. Between Oct. 1st and Nov. 15 or so, I will have more availability, since my jobs will be virtual while I recover from shoulder surgery. I dont anticipate having many issues with being able to care for animals during this recovery, and I can discuss this further with folks if need be.
