About: I have cared for animals the majority of my life. In a personal as well as professional capacity. Previously, I worked for a dog daycare/boarding facility in northern Virginia which allowed me to work with dogs of different sizes and temperament. I have volunteered on and off over the years at various shelters and ranches. I currently have a certificate of completion to be a Veterinary Assistant and am looking forward to continuing my education in animal care. I work full time from home which allows me the freedom to care for my own fur babies without issue. My evenings and weekends leave me open to care for your fur babies! I have a large non-fenced backyard with a 100’ dog lead. I do supervise while my dog is on the lead to ensure their safety.
“Aimee was great! This was my first time using Rover and she made me feel super comfortable by stopping in for a quick visit with myself and the puppy. During her visit she sent lots of pictures and was prompt with her arrival time. Will use her again!!”

About: Throughout my teen years, I’ve taken care of many pets; from training my puppies to caring for relatives’ pets. No matter the circumstances, I always have a fun time caring for these pets. I’m on the hunt for a part time job so I’m available all the time to care for pets! What better to do than doing something I love? I have three dogs at home and big yard but as we warm my dogs up to playing with others as part of their puppy training, we’ll keep your pets in your home.

“We were able to attend a family event without worrying! Alyssia was on time, kept us informed & very good with Bogey! We were totally comfortable with her taking care of Bogey!”

About: Reliable, organized, and always on time, I treat every dog as if they were my own. I have hands-on experience caring for playful puppies and senior dogs, including administering medications and sticking to care routines. I always provide plenty of patience, attention, and love so you can feel confident your pup is in good hands. Caring for pets is already part of my everyday routine with my own two dogs. I have the flexibility to provide dependable visits and intentionally limit my schedule so every pet receives patient, attentive care without feeling rushed. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I stay mindful of my surroundings during walks, avoid unsafe situations, and make sure your pet is comfortable, secure, and cared for at all times. I provide fresh water, follow your pet’s routine, and treat every pet with the same patience and attention I'd want for my own.
“I’m so glad that I found Morgan! She is wonderful with my dogs, they just love her, she is on time, reliable, and her communication is perfect. Definitely rebooking!”

“Katie gave my one cat a pill every day and scooped the litter box while we were away. She came over before we left to go over instructions and said she would message us if there were any issues. We came back to nice clean litter boxes, and we did not get any messages so I’m assuming she was good giving the medication! Thanks Katie!”

About: Hi, we’re Bree (22) and Nick (23)! We have loved and cared for animals our entire lives. Growing up, our homes were always filled with pets, ranging from dogs and cats to hedgehogs and lizards! Because of this, we are incredibly comfortable with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and unique care needs. We absolutely love all animals and will do everything to make them feel safe, happy, and right at home when you’re away. Nick: Nick has a full time job, so he will be available to help out when not working! Safety is my absolute top priority. I always ensure that doors, gates, and windows are closed before letting any animal roam. When we go for walks, pets are securely leashed at all times, and I am always aware of my surroundings. I ensure all hazardous items and human foods are stored far out of reach. For peace of mind, I provide clear communication and send regular photo and text updates throughout the day!

“We can’t say enough good things about Christina. From our first contact Christina was communicative, honest, polite, prompt, friendly, and caring. Her love for animals is obvious within the first moments of meeting her. She is thorough in getting all the important information - even things we hadn’t considered. She is great with our senior dog and our young puppy. She isn’t afraid to bring up any issues she’s seen our dogs exhibiting. Christina regularly shares photos of our dogs both to the app and maybe a couple extra via text. Her visit notes are detailed. We are thrilled with each interaction we’ve had with Christina and can confidently recommend her to anyone!”

“Julia was extremely friendly, accommodating, and an overall joy to have come and watch the pups. She went above and beyond while visiting, offering to do extra things around the house if I needed. I was even gifted with some great pictures of her with the pups hanging out. I will definitely be calling on her services again, and I highly recommend her to anyone needing some doggy help”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
