About: Throughout my teen years, I’ve taken care of many pets; from training my puppies to caring for relatives’ pets. No matter the circumstances, I always have a fun time caring for these pets. I’m on the hunt for a part time job so I’m available all the time to care for pets! What better to do than doing something I love? I have three dogs at home and big yard but as we warm my dogs up to playing with others as part of their puppy training, we’ll keep your pets in your home.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since before I could walk! I’ve trained my own puppy and taken care of senior dogs. I have patience and love for animals that sets me apart! I am currently a teacher looking for a summer job, which means my schedule is very open throughout the summer months! I am available for daytime visits, walks, feedings, and pet care throughout the week. While I prefer weekdays, I am flexible and may be available on weekends when needed. I am a reliable and trustworthy person who will treat your home, dog, or cat with the same care, respect, and love that I would give my own pets. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet in someone else's care, and I strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience.
“We were so happy with our experience with Adrianna! She made sure our nervous pup was comfortable and asked all the questions that made us feel comfortable with leaving him.”

“Ashley and her wife have been absolutely wonderful with my dog Taz. They stop by Monday through Friday while I’m at work, and I’ve had complete peace of mind knowing he’s in such caring hands. Not only do they take great care of him, but Ashley has also been working with Taz on commands, which has made such a positive difference. She’s reliable, attentive, and truly goes above and beyond. I’m so grateful for their help and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter! 🐾”

“Alyssa did amazing! My request was short notice and she was able to accommodate her schedule time to drop in with Pongo. Loved the updates, and she has a great communication. Thank you so much for helping.”

“Melissa was absolutely amazing while taking care of my two cats for a week. She was super responsible, reliable, and clearly really cared about them. I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in good hands the whole time. She kept everything clean, followed all the instructions, and made sure both of them were happy and comfortable. It honestly made being away so much less stressful. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring cat sitter! 🐱💗”

About: Ever since I was old enough to stay home alone, I've always enjoyed taking care of pets. Overtime I've gotten used to walking, feeding, and entertaining dogs for my friends and relatives. I currently work 2 jobs, with Sunday as my consistent day off. Despite having multiple jobs, most of my shifts don't exceed 5-6 hours. Both jobs and home are not far from each other. I am all about adopting the dog’s routine whether it be playing in the yard and going for long walks, or spending quality time indoors. I’m always observing behavior, ensuring that I can take care of them to my utmost ability.
“Wow! Morgan is a fantastic sitter!! Timely and extremely attentive to our pups. Her communication with me made our time away easy. We have three dogs which can be worrisome however she made us feel at ease with them in her care. We will definitely book her again and thank her for a wonderful experience. I highly recommend her services.”

“Jess took wonderful care of our three pups in our home while we were away. One of our pups has special needs and she was very accommodating to all of his care. We loved receiving updates and photos from each visit. Would highly recommend Jess for your in-home pet sitter needs!”

“We can’t say enough good things about Christina. From our first contact Christina was communicative, honest, polite, prompt, friendly, and caring. Her love for animals is obvious within the first moments of meeting her. She is thorough in getting all the important information - even things we hadn’t considered. She is great with our senior dog and our young puppy. She isn’t afraid to bring up any issues she’s seen our dogs exhibiting. Christina regularly shares photos of our dogs both to the app and maybe a couple extra via text. Her visit notes are detailed. We are thrilled with each interaction we’ve had with Christina and can confidently recommend her to anyone!”

“Our dog is a “rescue dog.” He is unpredictable. When Kayley came for a drop-in visit, he barked at her viciously even though he already knew and liked her. She stayed with him until he became calm. She showed a lot of patience with him. We appreciate her skills and empathy.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 3,252 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Malaga. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Malaga. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
