About: I have been a pet appreciation magnet as long as I can remember. Even when I am not aiming for the attention, the pets gravitate my way, and i have scritches and belly rubs for them all. I have a rescue of my own for 6+ years now, bichon/poodle mix. Though he had a traumatic start before me, he has adjusted well and is a cuddle bug, and getting better with his socialization with new doggos. I have been a dog sitter for friends over the last 8+ years, when they go on trips. I have experience in minor training, like sit/stay/leash leading, for a few breeds up to 50-70 lbs (no certificates, just repitition and patience). Positive recognition of good behavior and moderate activity (to remedy the bad behavior) when you need me are what I hope to share with your furry family members. I am currently working part-time, so i can set up a schedule of regular pet attention care during part day time hours. Currently I have weekends free if weekend care is requested, though this may change if requests are light. I am working on my house to be able to provide overnight care in the future, making it care friendly for additional furry friends. I have a fenced in, good size yard, and a medium size fur baby of my own to greet stay over friends, though my house needs a little more time for prep before we are ready. I am happy to do drop-ins and day or eve walks at your home, and follow any/all your rules. I respect your needs and want to make sure your fur baby is safe and happy in my care. I keep trainer treats in my car, if we need to practice a few basic commands, as well as water and other care essentials. I have a back seat hammock/cover for the pet's safety when traveling (as needed). I also have a med to large dog kennel I can put in the way back of my SUV if that is preferred for safety and security.

About: I have been around dogs consistently for about 10 years and we currently have two golden retrievers in our home (5 and 1). About: I have taken care of many jobs over the past couple of years. From my very loved family dog to many of my neighbors jobs. I have slept over at houses with animals, taken dogs on walks during the day, or just gone over to give some love when the owners are gone for long periods of time. I have always been an avid dog lover and now that I am living in an apartment that does not allow animals; I am missing my family dog very much. I would love to just get some puppy love for a bit every once and a while. I am currently working a full time 9-5 job that is in person in Wilmington. For older dogs who can be alone longer I would be happy to walk them before and after work. Any younger dogs that need faster check ins, I would be able to take care of better on the weekends. My dog is another family member to me, he is always treated with the best care and love. There aren't enough kisses and hugs I could give him in this life.
