“Andrew did a great job walking my dogs. He arrived on time every day, followed the instructions I had sent, and kept me informed of how my dogs were doing during the walk.”

About: I’ve had dogs all of my life and I would 100% say I am a dog person. They are truly your best friend & children. I have 2 dogs myself. A black lab & a chihuahua/jack Russel mix. Playing with them is my favorite thing. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m already the queen of snacks, naps, and playtime—so pet care is just another fun part of the routine! Walks, cuddles, and belly rubs fit right in with my busy (but happy!) schedule I ensure pets feel safe and loved by following routines, providing enrichment, maintaining cleanliness, and communicating consistently with their owners daily. We have fun & make it playful.
About: !!!Please read the days/hours I'm available that I wrote myself!!! *Found under "availability" Hello! My name is Ashlie, I’m 18 and new to Rover! I have taken care of a variety of animals on and off since I was about 8, including neighborhood and family pets as well as my own. I’ve provided basic care such as brushing, walking, feeding, and bathing as well as some unique care with exotic pets (rabbits & Guinea pigs) and farm animals (chickens, horses, goats, etc.). Warning, I will spoil them with toys and attention as they are my passion in life. On the same topic, my dream as a pre-vet student is to eventually open up my own nonprofit animal shelter and attach a personal veterinary medicine practice to it! I hate when I can’t help every animal I see from worms to animals significantly larger then me and everything in between, as I believe that they deserve love, compassion, and kindness. So I promise, I will make sure that they feel safe and comfortable throughout the duration of my visit(s). :) For my availability, i am working part time and I’m currently a pre-vet student as well as engaging in volunteer work so my schedule is a little more restricted for things other than walks or drop ins. Here are my hours! :) Mondays-11:30am to 9:45pm Tuesdays- 4:30pm to 9:45pm Wednesday- 5am to 5:30pm Thursdays- 4:30pm to 9:55pm Fridays- 4:00 pm to 11:45pm Saturdays- 5:00 am to 3:30pm Sundays- any hours Holidays: open to anything! When it comes to taking care of a new animal I will make sure that they approach me at first when ready and I will not force any unwanted attention until comfortable. I will provide proper care when needed and unconditional love, as well as routine. I will enforce that in unfenced areas, such as on walks, they are always leashed and kept away from other animals. In fenced areas I will constantly keep an eye on them to ensure safety. I am a very reliable person who is willing to take the time out of my day to create a safe environment for your pet no matter what it takes.
“Joanne is very reliable and accommodating. It is obvious how much she cares about the pets she visits and their owners. I would recommend her to sit for your pets.”

“John is very responsive and pays attention to Zuri's needs. She is strong, curious and loves to walk. John gave her a little extra time because he understood she was really enjoying her walk. He checks in and was punctual. I appreciate him.”

“Nicole is absolutely fabulous with our Cole. She is extremely reliable, and she has such a great understanding of dogs. Our guy is still young and can be aggressive. Nocole has really been a positive influence on him and he is not barking at dogs or people as much on his walks. She is so extremely friendly and personable. You will love her.We do!!”

“Pippa’s first walk with Kate was great! We recently moved into the area and I was anxious about finding a reliable, trustworthy weekday walker. Kate eased my worries. She is very communicative, provided great notes with photos, but most importantly, Pippa was very happy to see her.”

About: I have a dachshund of my own at home who radiates excitement when she sees me pull out her leash and harness. Walk time is her time to enjoy life. I am currently a nursing student in college, but I have the summer off and am looking for a short term job! I was busy in both May and June, but now have plenty of time until August to walk some furry friends haha! I walk my dog around our yard (we live in the country so it is pretty big!). I let her sniff away as she pleases enjoy the warm weather:)
About: I've taken care of my own pets since middle school, and have always had a passion for animals from even the littlest of betta fish all the way up to dogs and cats. All animals have a place in my heart, from puppies to the older guys that just like to relax. I'll make them feel safe, comfy, and most importantly I'll always make sure they're truly taken care of. As a nursing student, that caring and attentive nature is a huge part of who I am. As a student, my schedule is very flexible! I have free time on most weekday mornings and/or afternoons to dedicate to your pets. I’m especially free on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings before 3, as well as Thursday mornings before 10. I’m available after 2:30 — Mondays and Wednesdays one week, then Tuesdays the next. I’m also always free after 8:30 P.M. Feel free to contact me for further clarification. I'm a total homebody, so I have lots of time to spend with your fur babies! :) I'm a very detail-oriented and attentive person. My top priority is ensuring your pet's routine is maintained perfectly, from their specific feeding schedules to their unique personality quirks. I am reliable, easy to communicate with, and will send plenty of photo updates so you can relax, knowing your pet is in great hands.
About: I'm new to the pet service job, but I've owned two dogs since they were puppies. I have visited cats to clean their boxes and play with them, on behalf of friends that went away. I'm currently unemployed doing part-time jobs, so I have a lot of availability. I love both dogs and cats, and don't mind playing with them. I make sure my 6-year old Jack Russel mix, Finn, gets plenty of exercise and socialization. I take long walks in my neighborhood and enjoy taking him to the dog park.
About: I'm back on Rover! After having my third baby, I wanted to come back on here & be around more animals! Also, my kids LOVE it! I've grown up with animals my whole life. I worked at a Veterinarian Office for many years & learned a lot while being there. I can't wait to meet your fur babies! I'm ready when you are! :) I work from home, I have 3 kids...4 cats, 1 dog & a turtle. My kids love being around animals too! I will be able to take frequent breaks to fit your pets needs. Walk when they need to, exercise & play daily. I have a fenced in yard, and aside from the random fur throughout my home, I do keep it pretty tidy. Your pups are able to roam & play. Your cat will typically just stay with me in my office, so they aren't scared at first. If it's a long stay, please let me know if you don't mind our cats meeting yours.

“Heather was awesome! I had my travel plans change last minute and she was unbelievably flexible. I have a very anxious senior dog and a hesitant cat and came home to two very happy animals. Also great communication throughout the entire process !”
About: I have been a pet appreciation magnet as long as I can remember. Even when I am not aiming for the attention, the pets gravitate my way, and i have scritches and belly rubs for them all. I have a rescue of my own for 6+ years now, bichon/poodle mix. Though he had a traumatic start before me, he has adjusted well and is a cuddle bug, and getting better with his socialization with new doggos. I have been a dog sitter for friends over the last 8+ years, when they go on trips. I have experience in minor training, like sit/stay/leash leading, for a few breeds up to 50-70 lbs (no certificates, just repitition and patience). Positive recognition of good behavior and moderate activity (to remedy the bad behavior) when you need me are what I hope to share with your furry family members. I am currently working part-time, so i can set up a schedule of regular pet attention care during part day time hours. Currently I have weekends free if weekend care is requested, though this may change if requests are light. I am working on my house to be able to provide overnight care in the future, making it care friendly for additional furry friends. I have a fenced in, good size yard, and a medium size fur baby of my own to greet stay over friends, though my house needs a little more time for prep before we are ready. I am happy to do drop-ins and day or eve walks at your home, and follow any/all your rules. I respect your needs and want to make sure your fur baby is safe and happy in my care. I keep trainer treats in my car, if we need to practice a few basic commands, as well as water and other care essentials. I have a back seat hammock/cover for the pet's safety when traveling (as needed). I also have a med to large dog kennel I can put in the way back of my SUV if that is preferred for safety and security.
