“Braydon was wonderful. He kept me posted of Ivy's activities. She can be high energy so he took her for walks. He took her to a friend's house so she was able to get some socialization. We will for sure request him again.”

“Hadyn was beyond incredible. Our sweet dog who is normally full of anxiety had none with her. She was fantastic in sending photos and videos with her updates. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again. A+++”

About: I love dogs and have two of my own - a little man named Sid and big golden named Ruby. Everyone in my family has a dog as well so I am very used to being around pets. I am an active person and would love to walk, run with, or care for your dog! I work 2 days a week and I am flexible on weekends, so just let me know what you're thinking! We have two kids at home, 3 and under, so must be okay with sweet kiddos. I live in home with a big fenced in yard which is perfect for dogs. I have a small dog and large dog who get along very well with other dogs. They get super playful around other dogs, so your dog would surely have a fun time and get all his/her energy out! I am working part-time and home with my babies the other days, allowing a lot of flexibility with caring for your pet. We have some occasional things planned for weekends but are otherwise pretty open! I have a fenced in, nice yard for dogs to play and run in. We live in a great walking neighborhood. We have two dogs to keep your fur baby company as well as two young children. Animals must be kid-friendly for our home!
“Chris and Shawnda are true dog lovers. They understand dog behavior and we felt 100% confident leaving our dog in their care. Strider was happily exhausted from 3 days of play!”

“Was my first time using the app and they made it a great experience! This was Splash’s first time staying overnight at someone else’s house and they eased my mind with updates and pictures. Very accommodating and makes the process easy!”

About: I’ve taken care of a couple of different types of dogs since I was young. My family and friends trusted their dogs in my care. I’m a college student looking for side work to make some extra money. but haven’t started classes yet, so I have a very open schedule. I create a calm safe environment as well as follow pet routines closely, I handle pets gently, always respect owners boundaries, and prioritize safety in my home and clients homes.
About: I have worked for roughly two years dog sitting for friends and family. Typically these have been in my own home - occasionally overnight. I have a fenced in back yard for my 3 dogs & 2 cats so I have experience with both :) I have complete availability currently, so my dog at home gets quite a lot of walks and park time. If possible, i also try to socialize him with people each day. Typically I take my dog to the dog park in the evening with a long walk in the morning. This works best for my dogs energy levels, but each dog is different. I am also trying to socialize my dog in public as he is a bit scared of humans so we try to hit some breweries here and there.
About: Hi! I'm a dependable animal lover who enjoys spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I grew up around dogs, including a reactive German Shepherd, and I've also helped care for both small and large dogs in my family, so I'm comfortable with a variety of temperaments and energy levels. I'm especially good at reading dog body language and making sure dogs feel safe and understood. Whether it's going for walks, playing, or helping a dog burn off energy in a positive way, I focus on keeping things calm, structured, and fun. I'm patient, attentive, and reliable, and I always treat every dog like they're my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and happy while you're away. I am a college student so after 3pm on Monday's, Wednesdays, and Thursdays I am available for any of the services needed. This way I can board on the weekends for sure. I have an unfenced yard with a puppy that loves to play. I have a crate available for most dogs. I have a 100ft long leash so you don’t have to worry about your pet.
About: I’ve been watching dogs and cats since I was young. I love to walk dogs and spend lots of time playing together. I also enjoy caring for cats. I’m very reliable and am a good communicator. I would love to spend more time helping out with pets! I recently moved here and would love to watch some new furry friends. I’m employed part time currently and looking for full time work. I am very respectful of other people’s homes and properties. I am clean, quiet, and will communicate as often as you would like. I love to play with cats and dogs and will give them lots of attention.
“Michael did an amazing job with our dog, Murphy. It was nice to do a brief meet and greet to make sure Mike and Murphy were a good fit for one another. Murphy readily took to Mike and she seemed relaxed and okay to stay. Mike was in touch shortly after we left to let us know that Murphy had settled in, and I received various photos and correspondence while we were away. We will definitely book Mike to watch Murphy again and I would absolutely recommend Mike to others!”
About: I've had a lot of dogs in my life since I was very little that I have helped watch or care for. I help watch my relatives dogs when they are out on vacation or just gone for a few days. They've always relied on me to help them out and of course I did! I was always willing to take their dogs to care for if others they asked first couldn't do so. I've bathe and fed their pets as if they were just like mine to love and care for while in my hands! I'm a part timer so I would definitely have enough time to care for other pets in my hands! I also always try to find a way to work my schedule as best as I can. I don't have a fenced yard but I always put their leashes on and walk them out to use bathrooms or small walks around the yard or sidewalks. I keep watch on them all times and play with their toys or interacting any way to ensure they're having fun great times with me!

“Tiffany was so amazing and sweet with my Furr baby ! She was super flexible with pick up and drop off and even sent me pictures while he stayed with her! Lives in a great area and overall a super amazing person !! This is where you want your pet staying if you are ever traveling !!”

About: I am a dog mom to Freedom, my Blue Heeler of 8 years. He is very friendly and loves play dates and doggy daycare. I'm really doing this for him to have friends over. We have a small fenced area for potty breaks. Our living room is cozy for stretching out to nap. We also have an 8X14-foot deck for lounging and overseeing the backyard. I try to stay pretty relaxed and create a calm environment, but don't mind some chaos at times either. Freedom, Arya (my daughter), and I enjoy short road trips to get coffee or feel the wind in our fur. We are working on fencing in the backyard for doggy romps and sniffs. We love the fresh air! Hope to meet you soon. I am a stay-at-home mom with my daughter, who loves furry friends. My schedule is very flexible, and we also take care of old grandpa downstairs. We have a fenced-in potty area for your pet's safety and comfort. A fully fenced-in yard is in the works. Happy to provide for your pet's needs.

I can be home 4+ hours at a time or more and I will never leave your furry friend alone for long if absolutely necessary for me to leave. 🐶🐈 I live in a very spacious 4 bedroom, 1 bathroom house and have a fenced in yard where I can take your fur baby out to run! “Lindsay was awesome with our older yorkie. She kept in touch, sent pictures and made sure our fur babe was being cared for. We would definitely love to have Lindsay watch our pup again in a heart beat!”

“Wyatt and Kami did an amazing job of communicating with me while taking wonderful care of Hank. Hank has had a lot of changes recently and is a little reactive to certain things, but they followed the plan and adjusted his nervous system appropriately. Amazing dog sitters! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
