I have experience working with cats and dogs of all sizes and behaviors. I also have experience caring for rabbits as I have my own. About: I’ve had dogs of all sizes in my life since I was 2 yo, and I’ve trained multiple of them. I’ve also had pet rats, a gecko, fish, cats, and a brief horse phase. My childhood dream was to be a zoo keeper, but I ended up becoming a social worker instead. However, I still maintain that great love for all animals and have the goal of integrating animals into my therapy practice once I’m licensed. I am willing to work with most types of pets, including the traditional “creepy” ones. Throughout the years, roommates, friends, and family members have trusted me to take care of their pets. Many people have even told me that their pet warmed up to me sooner than most. I like to think I have the kind of calming, kind energy that animals appreciate. I’d love to hang out with your furry/scaly friend sometime and help lessen your load! I’m between jobs at the moment, so I am very flexible as long as you give me a little heads up. My boyfriend lives in VA, so I’m sometimes there for a few days, usually every other weekend. But otherwise, I’m readily available and willing to work with you and your schedule. I have experience caring for dogs in homes in both urban and rural places and understand the risks involved with both. I always practice proper walking etiquette, making sure to provide ample space between other dogs/people. I do everything I can to ensure everyone’s safety.
