About: I will continue your ways of interacting with your dogs. I will tailor my approach to your fur baby. I am experienced in the delicate handling of senior pets, including mobility assistance, administering oral or topical medications, and monitoring for subtle changes in health or behavior. For young pets, I reinforce your specific training cues and house-breaking routines to ensure consistency while you're away, helping them stay on track with their development. I use positive reinforcement and a calm energy to manage high-anxiety pets or those who are easily overstimulated, ensuring they feel safe and secure. I’ll send you consistent updates and photos so you can see exactly how your pet is thriving, giving you total peace of mind. Would you like to discuss a custom care plan or schedule a meet-and-greet to see how I interact with your pet? I've been around dogs all my life and will treat your pet like I treat my own. We don't deserve the love they bring and give out unconditionally. I'm retired. I have plenty of time to devote to your pet. Plenty of time to play, walk and snuggle with your fur baby! Our yard is not fenced. We have 10+ acres to take walks. We have 3 dogs who love to play. Our pack is very excepting and inclusive.
“Carola was super accommodating and flexible when we contacted her on short notice to see if she could watch our high energy pup while we went for a hike in the provincial park (no dogs allowed). Drop-off went well and she allowed us to supervise while we introduced our dog to hers. She went above and beyond in caring for him and he was super happy when we picked him up. Would definitely recommend her.”

“Ken took excellent care of my lil girl! Above and beyond with walks, dog park outings, playtime and chill time. Georgie was very excited to go to Ken’s each day and we will absolutely be a repeat customer from now on.”

“I would highly recommend Alyson. She sends pictures and responds immediately if you ask for an update on your pet. My dog went for doggie daycare and was very eager to go and play with her dogs! I would definitely use her services again.”

“Bailey was dropped off early in the morning. This was his first experience with a daycare. Lori quickly took him for a walk after I said "I'll be back." He handled this new experience well. The visit was actually cut short due to a change in scheduling at the VA but when I picked him up, he was happy to see me, but didn't seem upset at all. This is a spoiled little boy and he was as comfortable as could be expected.! Lori was friendly and confident with how she handled things. I will definitely use here services again! Highly recommended.”

About: Hello! My name is Kelley and I have lots of furry children. I have three Siberian Huskies and a Shiba Inu and they make life fun and adventurous! I have experience working with cats and dogs of all sizes and behaviors. I also have experience caring for rabbits as I had my own. Growing up I volunteered at the VCA Adoption center where we took care of the animals looking for homes and spent a few years of my adult life volunteering and running a rescue. I absolutely love animals and treat all exactly as I would want someone to treat my own. 😁 I am available most evenings after 4PM or anytime on Thursdays. I try to be as flexible as I can for last minute bookings to assist in any way I can. My entire front yard is fenced in with 6ft chain link fencing. It has a mini agility course as a fun activity for the dogs. I also have extra crates and can crate if/when needed. If I am coming to your home I will treat it and your pets with love and respect.
About: As a military spouse I have helped care for our dogs and many of our neighbors dogs as well. From large to small, I love dogs of all kinds. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs, and our own dog loves the company of other dogs. I am a mom and am in nursing school, but pet care is the highlight of my day. My schedule is open during weekends during the school semester, and outside of that I'm fulltime at home. I have a fenced in yard and a dog and cat friendly home. I also have children at home, but they are 10 and up. I prefer dogs crated at night, but during the day they are allowed to roam inside or out in the fenced backyard and will be well taken care of with lots of friendly petting in my home.
About: I have 23 years of dog experience I have had a dog since I was 9 years old. Mainly hounds and have little experience with labs as well. I currently have a year old beagle mix Annie who is very dog friendly loves to play. In my house Annie isn’t a pet she’s a member of our family! 🩷 I work from home and am able to fully attend to your pets needs as they arise. I have an area where they can lay and be with me while I work. I am open to keeping your furry family member on weekends would need to be communicated in advance I have a fenced in back yard, and a doggy door. They will have access to the yard as long as I am home, in the event I need to run an errand etc the doggy door will be shut and not have access to the back yard. Our backyard and deck has cameras so I am able to watch them while I’m working. I am glad to send pictures, videos while you are away from your loved one. Animals MUST be 100% housebroken Unfortunately due to working from home I am unable to watch doggos in your home, I sincerely apologize.
“Thank you so much it was amazing, she took great photos of our boy and he had a great time! He's super tired now and seemed to love playing with the other dogs from the photos. Even gave us some treats for him! Will definitely use again once we come back to the area”

About: Hi, I'm Erica! Animals have always been more than a passion, they've been my career. I have a background in Pre-Veterinary studies, hands-on veterinary clinic experience, and years of experience raising, training, grooming, and caring for animals. I currently work as a professional dog groomer and offer boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, walks, and grooming services. My husband, Ryan, is also involved in caring for our boarding guests and may assist with drop-offs, pick-ups, potty breaks, playtime, and care. Because I groom professionally during the day, I'm typically away from home for 4-6 hours, so all drop-offs and pick-ups are scheduled around my grooming appointments. Our home is designed with dogs in mind, featuring a clean, comfortable setup, a dog door, and a fully fenced one-acre yard for supervised play and exercise. I also have four friendly, well-socialized resident dogs who enjoy having visitors. To ensure every guest receives individualized attention, I only accept a limited number of pets at a time. I have experience with puppies, seniors, anxious dogs, medication administration, special diets, multi-pet households, as well as cats, small animals, and reptiles. I use gentle, low-stress, fear-free handling and tailor my care to each pet's individual needs. Professional grooming services are also available, including baths, brush-outs, deshedding treatments, nail trims, and full grooms. Boarding guests can even receive discounted grooming services before heading home. You'll receive daily photos and updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care and make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. Additional Information - Puppy rate applies to dogs under 2 years old. - Drop-offs and pick-ups are by scheduled appointment around my grooming schedule. - Early morning or late evening drop-offs/pick-ups may incur an additional fee. - Meet-and-greets are not required. - Daily photo updates included. - Limited boarding spots available. - Crates available if needed. - Grooming add-ons available for boarding and daycare guests. *For the safety of all pets, clients, and my resident dogs, all drop-offs and pickups take place outside. Guest dogs are introduced to the home and other dogs after owners depart so introductions can be done calmly and in a controlled manner.* All of my pets and yours are my full time job so all of my attention is towards them! I do walk other pets and step out of the home at times, but I'm only gone max of 4-6hrs at a time. I have a large fenced yard to ensure all pets are safe to play outside. I do monitor constantly and no pet is ever left unattended.
“Brutus had a day of doggy daycare with Sheryl today and had a ball! She was so attentive to him- playing with him and taking him on walks. Sheryl sent pictures, videos and updates. She followed his schedule exactly. We couldn’t have been more pleased! We plan on using Sheryl in the future anytime we need care for Brutus!”

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Bluff City commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
