Melissa went above and beyond during her house sitting for me. She’s communicative, reliable, and she even cleaned my apartment for me, which was extremely kind and appreciated. I trust my cats with her and I would book again with Melissa in a heartbeat.

Nicque was so great with my cat Phoenix! He immediately loved her when she came for the meet and greet. He jumped up and sat right on her lap, which he doesn’t even do for my friends that are around quite often! He was definitely relaxed when we got home and it made me feel so relaxed being away knowing that Nicque was there giving him love and taking care of him! I highly recommend Nicque and will definitely contact her in the future if we ever need a sitter for Phoenix!!

About: Your pets are a part of the family, and with family comes extraordinary care and consideration. I have been taking care of pets most of my life, and I understand that there's isn't a one-size fits all approach to pet care. Some are under special diets, some need extra TLC during *ruff* seasons, and some are thriving with tons of energy that we must match as their care givers. No matter what that dynamic looks like between you and your pet, I am committed to match it with passion and excellence. Pets are a blessing, wether they're in a tank, a cage, or they just roam free! My services include baths (upon request) with non-toxic and organic products, as well as optimal play time, feedings, treats, and walks. Along with your pets overall well-being, cleanliness and your ROI are my priorities. An investment into your animals is no small feat, and I want to honor that with integrity in all that I do for you and for them. If this sounds like a great fit, please reach out. Thank you for reading, and happy searching! *IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY* I currently work Tues, Weds,Thurs (8 hour shifts) in office. For house/pet sitting, I can accommodate caring for your pets on a full time schedule, with the exception of my working hours and personal errands. For drop-ins I am available during the evening hours on any working day or any time on my off days. Depending on the circumstances of your pet care and any special requests, I generally love to interact the most when they are free roam and cuddly, but if necessary measures need to take place such as crating, outside pets, etc. then I will adhere to that. I have heightened situational awareness, and I can sense if anything is off immediately.

Maryjane was great! She stepped in when an emergency forced my other sitter to end the stay early and she picked up the care for my cat without missing a beat! My cat clearly loved her, too. He was happy and well fed, and my apartment looked great when I got home! I will definitely book with her again!

We had Nicole watch our two cats (one a new playful kitty and the other an older cat who was quite sad after losing her companion weeks before) for 5 days as well as do some watering in our gardens. She and her partner did a fantastic job. We were worried leaving the cats but she was easy to communicate with, sent regular updates, and took care of everything that was asked of her. We would definitely use her again to care for our cats!

About: I have had dogs and cats all my life and have been cat sitting for a friend for the passed 3 years. I can handle giving medication and large dogs. I'm a Preschool Teacher during the day looking to help where I can. 😊 I work Monday through Friday, however I'm off fairly early at 3:30pm everyday so afternoons, evenings, and weekends are free. I have no pets anymore so they will have all the attention! There is a lovely creek that runs through my complex for walks and plenty of toys and energy! And for the older furr babies they are more than welcome on the furniture for cuddles. I also have treats if they are okay for their diet 😊 I have experience with giving medication as well if need be.

About: Not only do I have 10 years of experience of pet sitting, I have experience working with shelter dogs. I’ve been with Placer SPCA as a volunteer for many years. I work with fearful, excitable, shy and even reactive dogs on a weekly basis. I make sure to give them the best care I can provide. I have plenty of free time and my shelter schedule is very flexible! I spend most of my time caring for pets or working with animals. I am someone that you can contact last minute for pet sitting! I will make sure that your pet gets all the love, care and attention your best friend could possibly need. I provide mostly overnight care, in which I make sure your pup is cared for in the same way you do every day. Building trust is very important to me, I’ll make sure to send pictures of your dog (or other animals) along with a report of how they are doing and any other info you may need.

About: I don't have much professional experience walking dogs. I lived across from a cute pot dog mix for 8 years. When her own went on trips he would have me look after Sophia. This included walking her, feeding her. Cuddling with her. I would also take her on walks to the store or with her owner would take her to the pond or lakes. I have kids who I'm wanting to teach responsibilities to, so when possible I would have them help on the walks or feedings. I'm mostly a stay at home mom. I do house cleanings a few times a week for a few hours in the morning. I also have kids to take to and from school and activities but my availability is still pretty open. Love getting out in nature having a dog out there to play with would make it that much better. Love spoiling pets with cuddles and treats

About: Hello! I’ve been loving and caring for local pets for around 25 yrs. Some pets were young pups and kittens; some were older seniors. I specialize in petsitting at my clients homes. My longest pet sitting job was 3.5 weeks while the owners were in Italy. I have many referrals. I’ve taken care of miniature horses, Friesian horses, and a pig. (We have a lot of rural homes in Auburn area). I’m retired from a construction accounting job. We’re gladly at home most days! My shedule is flexible; if you have an emergency need for pet sitting, I’m your gal. I prefer to petsit at my client’s homes. The animals rather appreciate this. I like to meet the animal(s) before sitting so when I arrive, we have a connection. I give the animals plenty of one-on-one attention. This may include doggy massage to calm them and get to know them. Lots of walks if they like that. Potty Breaks every couple of hours to begin with, as they’re sometimes nervous or have stomach upsets. I’d like to know your favorite names for them, what your routines are, rituals, their favorite things to do. I’ve also stayed with animals after their surgeries to monitor when the owner has to work.

About: Your Pets Other Home: We are a family ran home, if your pet is part of our home for a stay they become part of our family. I value my pets and their parents very much and work as much as possible to understand each family’s needs. This is something we do because we truly enjoy our fur friends new and old who come here to stay. As a pet owner ourselves we understand how difficult it is when you’re forced to leave your pet behind. It’s even more difficult to find somewhere you feel will treat your fur baby with as much love, care, comfort and fun & safety while away from their own home and parents. When I became a stay at home mom approx 7 years ago from my 15+ year career I was so excited of all the possibilities I could finally do now with my new found availability to do so. So we decided to open our home to other animals and where this would be a safe, fun, loving home where other animals could come & enjoy when their parents can’t take them with them. Plus, the bonus is my own 2 fur kids get to socialize in a safe environment and not at an overcrowded risky dog park. We will only ever take in at most up to 5 small dogs (sometimes a family with two dogs or more I may make exceptions and sometimes pick up and drop offs may overlap slightly) but we do like to keep it a smaller to ensure we aren’t to crowded so everyone is getting plenty of attention and of course room to fit on the bed should they choose! I try my best to let each dog slowly integrate and decide what they like best such as if they like to bring their own crate, house bed, toys, sleep with us sleep upstairs, and/or sleep downstairs sleep or with one of the kids. We are flexible to their comfort and like them to feel comfortable and welcome. I always encourage families to bring whatever they think their doggy needs to feel comfortable too. There are no requirements to bring anything except your own daily food. Also, if your dog does not have sensitivities to foods there are many times I give them a little extras with their meals if they like it such as could be scrambled eggs in the morning some chicken breasts, fresh veggies or fruits, small scoop of organic pumpkin purée etc. Most all who come here learn to love variety of unique treats. So be sure to let me know if your dog is sensitive and I will be sure to avoid giving outside of their dietary restrictions. At our home we offer a free to roam around the inside, and on furniture while also safely securing with gates as needed from stairs, front door and/or if needed to create break zones for those who may prefer their own space with out interruptions from other more playful friends at times. Doggies also may go outdoors through a dog door outback as often as they like during daylight hours of course and depending on weather conditions if storming for safety reasons. Our Backyard is fully secured with a fence, I check frequently for no loose boards or holes to ensure safety and security for your babies and my own. There’s also a grassy area, shaded large back patio and rocks to jump over. They are free to play or simply take a nap in the sun as they please. At night we also allow all dogs to sleep where they prefer or as they are used to at home (which includes sleeping with us). We want your pet to feel comfortable and loved while you are away. We try to follow all you do the best we can so your dog's routine and eating habits are not fully thrown off from what they are used to. Although, we just add in some extra fun, love and treats here and there so they do feel they are on vacation too! If possible, and weather permitting and they are good leash walkers we love getting out for a good neighborhood stroll around our secure neighborhood courts and grassy area. We encourage if you are boarding a pet for the first time or first time with us even, to make sure to bring along an assortment of favorite toys and preferred foods, along with objects that smell like home. When dropping your dog off, make sure to remain calm and cheerful so that your pet feels just as cheerful. Lastly I will just say our dogs are family and your dogs become part of our family. We are a family run home if your dog require someone to be by their side 24/7 and they are unable to be left alone this may be difficult for me to achieve. As of course my first priority is a stay at home mom is my kids. So there are times I have to take him to the doctors, run to pick up groceries and I do take them to and from school daily, as well as work in his class one hour one day a week or sports. We are also a healthy active family I do like to go to the gym one hour when I can fit it in as well as hikes. And if your dog is a hiker I love taking them on safe trails with me. Crates are not required in my home I do offer an extra one if you need it but they are not required some dogs just love them and like I said I like to do whatever dogs like most so if you have your own special crate or house or bed feel free to bring it. There are times where I may have doggies who have bladder control issues or just like to use the inside on those cold winter days. On those days or at times where I may need to leave the house I may use gates quarantine off the carpeted areas for periods of a time. I have been doing dog boarding officially for at least 8+ years now and I am lucky and blessed that I still have people coming since day one. My kids have grown up with most of these dogs and they are like family to us. We love building relationships with these dogs and one of my most favorite things is one a new dog he comes he can be kind of shy timid and take some warming up and when I start to see them relax become comfortable jump on my lap climb up on our bed or even just come sit by my side and brings me a complete joy to know they feel at home! That is what I strive for. I want your for baby to get excited when they start pulling around the corner getting closer to my house jump out of the car and come running in my door which is what most do now. We just adore are extended fur kiddos. At this time we only board dogs 15lbs and under for the overall safety of the other small dogs in the home. Some considerations for their weight can be taken if their breed is considered small yet they are just simply a healthy eater pushing them over the 15lbs. If needed, I do have a great referrals for large dogs upon request. We look forward to meeting you and your fur baby ~ Please read details up above. Where I go over in great detail everything about our home and how your dog will become part of it ~ Please read details up above.
