“Raquel did a great job. I really appreciate her putting our Chewey order away too. (Always seems to come when I am gone.) She checked w/ me when she had questions and gained the trust of our timid kitty.”

“Bethanie was super responsive, professional and left no room for worry in the caretaking of our five four-legged kids while we attended our daughter's wedding in Michigan! She was also kind enough to help tech-challenged me with the Rover app as well as sending photos during our time away?. Very impressed and grateful!”
“Mateo was communicative, trustworthy, and reliable. I am very anxious leaving my babies alone, especially because I just moved to the area not too long ago, and I absolutely trusted him. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my babies! 🥹”

“Kevin was great! First time using rover, he answered all my questions I had prior to booking, during his 8 visits he great! I could tell when I returned home my two dogs were well taken care of while I was away! I will definitely use Kevin in the future!”

“Jeannie was terrific to work with! We booked her last minute and she was so accommodating, professional and friendly. We felt very confident leaving our pup in her hands. Highly recommend and we will use her again!”

About: I’ve owned large dogs consistently for the last 20 years. I’m ready to give snuggles to dogs of all sizes, though! Kids are back in school so I have lots of time on my hands. I’m ready to spread the love! I’m currently looking for some supplemental income doing something fun and rewarding while maintaining the flexibility I need for my kids and their schedule. I love the idea of borrowing someone else’s pup for a little bit so they don’t have to be lonely all day. I have been home since my youngest was born 9 years ago, so I have plenty of time on my hands during the days. We have a big fenced yard, and live on a quiet street with little traffic for walks. I don’t really have a lot of other things going on during the day, so frequent potty breaks are no issue.
About: I’ve taken care of cats my whole lives but my aunt loves it when I take care of her dog and says I’m so good with him. I’m not currently working so I will have plenty of time to love on animals while you are away like they are my own animal. I play with them and make sure I’m around them at all times to make sure nothing gets broken or destroyed or they get hurt.
About: Hi! I’m Kristina, a Registered Veterinary Technician with over 9 years of experience caring for animals in general practice, emergency medicine, and beyond. 🐾 I know how important it is to have someone you truly trust caring for your pets while you’re away. I’m comfortable with pets of all personalities and needs, including seniors and pets who may need a little extra patience and attention. Your pets will be treated like family and cared for with the same compassion and attention I give my own. ❤️ Pet care is my full-time profession, which means your pets receive my dedicated time, attention, and reliability—not just care squeezed in around another job. As a Registered Veterinary Technician, I’ve built my career around caring for animals and understanding their individual needs. I’m able to provide dependable scheduling, attentive care, and the peace of mind that comes from leaving your pets with an experienced veterinary professional. 🐾 My home is set up with pet safety and supervision in mind. 🏡🐾 I have a gate separating the front and back areas of the house, which helps me safely manage pets and keep a close eye on everyone in my care. I have a small, unfenced yard, so pets are always supervised and leashed while outside. My neighborhood is quiet and safe, making it great for daily walks and outdoor enrichment. I also have crates available when needed or if your pet is most comfortable having their own secure space. There are other pets in my home, so I take introductions and individual personalities seriously. My veterinary background helps me closely monitor behavior, comfort, and interactions to create a safe and positive environment for every pet staying with me. ❤️
About: Hi my name is Johanzy and I was born into a pet loving family ! A good amount of my childhood included taking care of my cockapoo, Scooby. I am very attentive, driven, and determined. I will make sure that your pets will be in the safest environment possible. I have a very keen eye to watch for any and everything. As a dedicated pet parent to my own cat, Sam, I know firsthand how important it is to find a reliable, loving caregiver when you're away. I take daily pet care seriously—from sticking strictly to feeding schedules to keeping spaces fresh and tidy—and I treat every pet I care for with that same level of attentive, hands-on love. My home is completely cat-proofed and secure, creating a calm, safe sanctuary for your feline friend. During visits to your home, I strictly follow your household security rules, lock up securely, and keep all entry points safe to ensure your pets remains happy, comfortable, and protected in their familiar environment.
“Lindsay took great care of my cat while I was out of town. I received updates and pictures while I was away. I returned home to find my cat very happy and well taken care of. It was very comforting to know my cat was happy and getting loved on while I was away. Most importantly, I did not have to take my cat out of her home environment. I highly recommend Lindsay!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Edwardsburg
Jeannie was amazing with my fur babies. This was our first time using someone we didn’t know (not the neighbor or close friend), and Jeannie was great from the first meet and greet throughout the whole process and time watching them. She would send videos and pics and daily updates and both cats took to her so well. Wonderful sitter who went above and beyond

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
