They have lots of fun playing with her personal dogs and daycare guests in her large, fenced backyard. I was in the planning stages of a tentative trip when I reached out to him and he really took the time to answer all my questions and even ask his own to ensure a successful stay for Ella. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and so kind in his communication from the planning stages, during Ella’s stay, to pick up. He has such a warm and calm demeanor that put both Ella and I at ease. At drop off, Ella and he were fast friends and he really took the time to get to know Ella and help make her feel welcome and comfortable. He sent regular updates and pictures the whole time so I never had to worry how she was doing. And she had an absolute blast! She’s not the easiest dog, she’s still working on a lot and has a ton of energy and he handled her impeccably. He mentioned he has experience with rescue dogs and that really shown through in his demeanor and connection with her. She felt safe and was her playful happy self when I picked her up. He was nice and organized and had her things in order and ready when I got there. He had given her a nice walk and some water right before knowing she had a decent car ride home. I was just so impressed. Will definitely be back. Cannot recommend Nathan enough!”

About: I have lots of experience working with animals, including time working at an animal hospital during high school, where I learned to care for pets of all kinds. I’m familiar with administering medications and meeting the unique needs of different animals. I am currently searching for a summer job while taking a couple summer classes while i finish my associate degree. My schedule is very open! In my home i have one dog a very friend golden retriever who loves playdates and we have a big yard by woods. I’m very attendant and anxious so i spend a lot of time outside with my dog and love going for walks

About: I have worked as a vet assistant and groomer. Pets have been a part of the family for my whole life, everything from bearded dragons and guinea pigs to a wonderful St. Bernard. I might actually be part cat. I'm a stay-at-home mom. Every morning I give the insistent critters their breakfast and some play time before letting the dogs out. Play and cuddle time happens all day. There is a big basket of toys for both dogs and cats in the living room and jars of treats are scattered around the house. Our yard isn't fenced yet, but there is a runner and the yard is surrounded by woods. We're also on a dead end road, so there's no traffic. The cats have litter boxes in the basement, with a cat door for access. That gives them a bit of privacy, the dogs aren't allowed down there. The cats also have a water fountain and food bowls high enough that the dogs can't reach.

About: Hi, I have taken care of my own pets and other people's pets for years. I moved to Mid coast ME 5 yrs ago from Nantucket. I am also a professional gardener, so if you need watering etc while your away. I am currently self employed, so I have a flexible schedule. We can figure out a plan for your pet care. Look forward in planning w you. I have a dog Elka and 2 cats. Elka is easy going dog who loves other dogs and cats. I think the best way is to have the dogs meet and see how things go w them before a care schedule can begin. We have also traveled and cared for other dogs in their homes and everyone gets along.

“Lacey and Jeremy were absolutely fantastic with our pups! We have an older dog and a young puppy, both of whom need to have frequent potty breaks. This was no problem for them. They were so welcoming and loving with our guys. Lacey carefully listened to all our concerns and directions about the dogs but I didn’t need to worry because everything went so well. They had a long stay and had such a wonderful time that I wasn’t sure they would want to come home. Lacey communicated with us regularly and sent adorable pictures. We were surprised and delighted that both dogs were given baths and looked and smelled great when we picked them up. Lacey and Jeremy definitely exceeded our expectations.”
