8. Juliana M.

“Juliana was responsive and easy to communicate and schedule with. We had a last minute booking because our original sitter fell through, so she was a lifesaver . Our pups had a great time and got in some great exercise so we’re super mellow when we got home. Would definitely book with her again.”

9. Samuel S.

“We recently had the pleasure of having Sam watch our two dogs for nearly an entire week, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care and attention he provided. Sam went above and beyond, even rearranging his work schedule to make sure our dogs were well looked after. He maintained their regimented routine, preparing their unique meals twice a day and taking them out for potty breaks and exercise an additional 3-4 times per day. His conscientiousness really showed in everything he did. Sam stayed overnight in our home, ensuring our dogs felt safe, secure, and comfortable in our absence. His communication was excellent—he sent us multiple photo updates throughout each day, which gave us such peace of mind. It was clear from the photos (and when we returned!) that our dogs were happy, calm, and well cared for. Honestly, I don’t think they even realized we were gone! Sam is incredible with animals, and it’s obvious he has a natural connection with dogs. He’s also friendly, respectful, and trustworthy. Knowing he was there allowed us to enjoy a much-needed vacation without any worry. We’re already planning to book Sam again for our next trip! If you’re looking for someone dependable, kind, and dedicated to caring for your pets as if they were his own, we can’t recommend Sam highly enough. Thank you again, Sam!”

10. Sarah L.

“Sarah was Awesome! She was very accommodating. We had never used the Rover app and had never done anything like this before. Our plans had fell through for our doggies being watched and this was all last minute as we were in a bind for Thanksgiving holidays. Sarah was available, very helpful and expeditious in meeting with us last minute and watching our girls. She took great care of our dogs and our home too. She kept us updated with pictures of our girls. I would recommend her as well as use her again!😃👏🏼”

15. Riyeilis P.

“I love Rover! My experience so far with 2 different dog sitters has been great. Riyeilis did an amazing job taking care of my pup. She stayed at my home with her and updated me everyday with photos. She had great communication with me which helped with my anxiety about leaving my dog for 4 days.”

16. Leah S.

“Leah is an absolute gem! From start to finish, her communication was top-notch—we felt completely at ease the entire time we were away in Puerto Rico. We didn’t worry for a second, knowing our dogs were in such loving and capable hands. Whiskey and Rye adore her (which says everything), and to top it all off, we came home to a house that was somehow cleaner than we left it! Leah went above and beyond in every way, and we’ll 100% be booking her again. Highly, highly recommend!”

17. Jose A.

“Jose was absolutely amazing! We had never used Rover before and he made us a customer for life. Thank You Jose for ensuring Mr. Nelson had a great week with you while we were out. We appreciate you so much!!”

18. Taewon L.

“Taewon took amazing care of our Donut (dog) and Max (axolotl) while we were away. Donut was not anxious to run outside when we got home because he had been walked a ton. We received photos almost daily, and there were no concerns at all. We’d definitely reach back out to Taewon if we need a sitter again!”

19. Candace & Jimmy A.
About: Hi, I'm Candace! I'm a lifelong dog owner and come from a dog loving, training household. My mom and I even trained a toy schnauzer as a certified service dog for my father! My three Boston Terriers have free rein of our home and love meeting new furry friends. They’re sociable and get along well with others, but since all dogs are different and react to each other differently, we can easily separate them if needed. The layout of our home is perfect for keeping pets comfortable yet safe, with plenty of space for play and relaxation. My boyfriend, Jimmy, and I have lived together for 14 years. We’ve boarded and cared for hundreds of dogs for many years now, proudly maintaining a 5-star rating! We’re both hands-on, ensuring potty breaks, walks, and plenty of love and attention for your dog. I’d love the chance to meet your pup and offer them a safe, fun, and loving environment while you’re away! I stay at home when I am boarding your pets so they have my full attention almost always. If I have to run to the store or anything like that, I have a Furbo camera so I can check in and talk with your pet and even toss them a treat or two while I’m away. Fully fenced in back yard. My home is shaped like a “U” inside so it can be partitioned in a way to give dogs private access to one whole half of the house if they prefer to stay separate.

20. Abigail M.

“Abigail was a wonderful house/dog sitter for our family. She handled our grumpy, older border collie and our playful, energetic lab very well. She was very attentive to their feeding schedule and we really felt at ease with her staying at our house and taking care of our animals (even the tortoise)! She provided updates daily and was very professional during the initial meet and greet. We will definitely be using her services again.”
