About: I have had cats my whole life, and have two personal senior cats of my own. I have experience fostering kittens, and bottle feeding, as well as administering medication- orally and via syringe. My own cats are on an assortment of supplements and medications, and I administer subcutaneous injections to one of my cats on a biweekly to monthly routine. I have cared for other people's cats to varying degrees, and understand that each pet needs various levels of interactions, based on their own comfort. About: I’ve had a dog in my home almost every day of my very long life! I have assisted my housemate in caring for dogs both in and out of our home for the last five years. I am currently retired, so I am available most of the time. As long as we can keep to a schedule, all will be great! I have a very large fenced yard and a medium sized dog eager to make new friends so they can run and play. Then afterwards they can stretch out on the furniture for a nap

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was little, as I have never lived without them. I love all animals and always treat them as my own. I love being outside and going on walks and would love to have a dog to take with me on some adventures as I explore San Antonio. I’m very punctual and good about remembering feeding times or understanding what the dogs needs are. I have owned big and small dogs and love them all so much. I have raised puppies but also cared for my blind and deaf dog during his last few years of life so I am experienced in all stages. I do not have a job at the moment because I just moved here so I would have plenty of time! I miss being around my dogs and am hoping to be able to interact with yours! I live in an apartment on the third floor so I don’t have a yard right outside, but my complex offers a beautiful dog park. There is also a dog washing station if I need to clean them up. There are plenty of walking trails close by that I can take them on and plenty of grass areas.

“Hector is amazing with my Carrick and was from the very beginning. I'm disabled and found myself in need of a part-time dog walker. My dog is being trained as a service dog but was also rescued from a shelter and does not trust people easily. Hector asked what commands he knew, what was the best way to approach him, didn't flinch when my baby got anxious during their meet and greet. He won my furbaby over so completely that the next morning when Hector showed up for the first walk, Carrick quietly sniffed and accepted him and was more than happy to go on a walk with him. Hector also discovered the best way to walk Carrick on their first walk - I've never seen him come back from a walk so happy before! I cannot recommend Hector enough. He has experience, is intuitive, communicative, respectful, thoughtful, and takes great care of your fur babies. My little man gets the tippy-tappies when he hears him walking up to the door. A dog that usually takes months to warm up to folks. If you hire Hector you will not be disappointed. You will have a reliable, skilled and trustworthy person to take care of your furbaby.”
