“Leah is the first person to watch our pets (out of many) with whom I felt completely comfortable and didn’t worry about my pets constantly. She was communicative and made it clear that she takes care of our pets like she would her own!”

“Michelle was such a great house sitter and dog sitter! She took such great care of our boys, updating us with pictures, videos, and messages of anything going on. She followed our instructions and even gave one of our dogs his daily medications. “Cecilia was amazing with my girls! I was skeptical about having someone I didn’t know watching my girls, or stay in my home while I was away. When I met Cecilia in person, my worries immediately disappeared. Cecilia exceeded my expectations. I was able to relax while away and not worry about my girls. I was greeted every morning and throughout the day with pictures and videos of my girls, and she took wonderful care of my home. I will definitely be utilizing Cecilia’s services again!!”

“Sonia was so kind to take a last minute booking for a family emergency. She came for a meet and greet and asked great questions to make sure she was prepared. She was communicative and sent pictures throughout the stay, and followed through the schedule we had discussed. She definitely seems like a dog whisperer, when she came to bring the key back, my dog stood at the door watching her! I would absolutely welcome her back to house/dog sit.”

“Samuel was great with my animals and communicated how everything was going. Left the house very clean and very professional. I will use him again.. my animals loved having him there.”

About: I’ve had a dog in my home almost every day of my very long life! I have assisted my housemate in caring for dogs both in and out of our home for the last five years. I am currently retired, so I am available most of the time. As long as we can keep to a schedule, all will be great! I have a very large fenced yard and a medium sized dog eager to make new friends so they can run and play. Then afterwards they can stretch out on the furniture for a nap
“Rachel was amazing with my little ones. Rachel stepped right in loving on my toy poodle and American shorthair cat. She cared for them as if they were her own. This was evident in the frequent updates with pictures. I highly recommend Rachel to care for your pets and home.”

“Dianahy was great! I needed a sitter on short notice, and she was quick to respond and even made time for a meet and greet beforehand. We had no issues with her during her stay, and our dog Luna seemed to do well with her! She is communicative and caring. Would book again.”

“Lindsey was amazing! She helped us out with a last minute trip and was very communicative. She sent lots of pictures of my babies and they seemed to love the attention. Would absolutely recommend her!”

“Abigail was a wonderful house/dog sitter for our family. She handled our grumpy, older border collie and our playful, energetic lab very well. She was very attentive to their feeding schedule and we really felt at ease with her staying at our house and taking care of our animals (even the tortoise)! She provided updates daily and was very professional during the initial meet and greet. We will definitely be using her services again.”

“Rachel did amazing with my animals, I have a dog who is very scared around people and she did very well with her. I was very happy with her services and will definitely be booking with her for my future needs.”

About: I've grown up around a lot of different pets over the years. Pet sitting for family and friends is also something I have done a lot of since childhood. I'm particularly fond of multi pet homes since I also have a multi pet home. I also lift quite a bit, so I am more than okay with working with heavier pets as well. I have cared for a variety of ages of cats and dogs, some with special needs as well. I very much do not mind cleaning up after pets, and enjoy earning pets' trust when they're a bit more shy. I care very much about animal well being, particularly because I am very picky when it comes to my own pets. I'm currently working and also will be taking one class at university in the Spring. I am more than happy to make trips to and from campus several times a day based on what's requested and/or needed. This could mean a morning walk, afternoon lunch time with a walk, and evening playtime. My schedule is currently relatively flexible, and I have plenty of time. While I very much prefer instructions for how best to care for your pets, it seems relatively standard to make sure there is some socialization/play time between walks, feedings, or anything else they may need. I am the primary caregiver for two rescue cats and two rescue dogs in my home. One of my dogs is crate trained and the other is a more shy senior dog. I have a regular walk routine with my pets, and they also get regular play time everyday as well. When it comes to taking care of my own pets, I am intentional in making sure their needs are put before my own.
“Lexy is absolutely amazing!!! My dogs took right to her and they’re usually weary of people. She walked them, kept in touch with us everyday we were gone. She’s so friendly and outgoing I’d definitely advise people to hire her. She stayed the night at my house and even deep cleaned it! Can you imagine that! She’s an absolute doll and we’ll definitely be using her from now on when we travel. Kudos to Rover for hiring such a professional, friendly and responsible lady!!!”

“Brianna was comminicative and thoughtful in her care of my senior dog. He was happy and well cared for when I returned and we will definitely consider booking with Brianna again.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting since high school and had a dog since I was 4 years old. I’ve fostered dogs and volunteered at the animal shelter. Now, I have my own dog that can be nervous around people and other dogs so I understand any special behavior a pup might have. I have done training classes with my dog to learn how to handle various behaviors and always tailor my care to each individual dog. Dogs are like people and they’re all very different. I love all dogs and will take care of your pets like my own. I have a lot of free time on the weekends and would love to come play and hang out with your dogs so they don’t get lonely! On weekdays I work 9:30-4 pm (ish) with a morning workout from 6:45-7:45 am (ish). I could do visits anytime other than those accounting for some drive time. For morning visits squeezed into those gaps I could do shorter visits and then longer night post-work visits. I will take all care instructions from you to make sure I care for your pet just like you do. Your pets’ safety is my top priority.
Wildwood West pet parents share their Rover experiences
Samantha took such great care of our dogs and home! It was obvious from the first meeting that she has a lot of experience caring for dogs. She sent lots of great photos and updates while we were gone, and the house was in great shape when we got home. We will definitely be reaching out to Samantha the next time we need a dog sitter.

We had an amazing experience with Rylee and would absolutely book her again. She took such great care of our dogs while we were on vacation and kept us updated with thoughtful messages and photos throughout her stay. Seeing how happy and comfortable our dogs were with her gave us complete peace of mind. She was attentive to their needs, detail-oriented, and clearly genuinely cares about the animals she watches. On top of that, she went above and beyond with our home — taking out the trash (inside and patio), neatly gathering her used linens and towels, and making sure everything was in order before she left. Rylee is reliable, considerate, and truly a fantastic dog sitter. We’re so thankful to have found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pets.

Brandy did great with the dogs! She stayed with them all weekend. She left them and the house in great condition. She was able to give our one dog medication. She was also available to take the job last minute. Brandy was also great at communicating, I would hire her again and definitely recommend her services. Thanks!

Candace did an amazing job house sitting and taking care of Bentley. She was very communicative and sent pictures of our sweet boy through the duration of her stay, which was greatly appreciated. Candace was also able to accommodate staying an extra day that we requested last minute, which we were extremely thankful for. We will definitely be using Candace again! Thank you for every thing!
