“Jeremy and his partner have been great at taking care of our cat and keeping us updated with photos throughout. They are super friendly, I would recommend and rebook them anytime.”

“I was stuck out of town on business and Alexis came to mine (and Remi’s) rescue last minute. He’s diabetic so I was truly in a bind, but she saved the day! Thank you Alexis for your help last minute and making sure my boy was taken care of!”

About: I have been a dog owner for more than 18 years and I've been around cats and dogs my whole life. My partner and I, along with our 4-year-old Pyrenees mix, provide a safe, loving space with tons of room to run, and heaps of belly rubs. I'm currently working part time as a property manager on a 50 acre estate. My partner works from home. So one or both of us is around. We both take our dog for a long hike/bike/one wheel ride every evening that we would love to take your buddy with us. If I have take your dog to work I have a Tacoma with a camper shell that I bring Stevie in. It's safe and lockable so you can be assured that your fur baby is safe. We live in a single family home with two floors outside the Meyers roundabout. We allow dogs on couches, beds and have indoor and outdoor dog beds. We are a block away from miles of trails down to the Truckee river. Also I love running my dog Stevie with my one wheel around paradise park. Which is around 4 miles round trip. So if your dog needs lots of running and is safe on or off leash Ive got the toy for them. When not walking or riding we have a large fenced backyard (especially for Tahoe). So they won't be couped up inside. Please let us know what your best friend needs and we'll do our best to accommodate.

About: I have extensive years of pet care. I’ve always had pets as a child and identify and understand their needs and wants (Cats & Dogs). I can house sit during the day but sorry no over night stays. If you call or text me early am I can book same day. Thank you. I have a cat and he comes first, so I do not do overnights stays but can do in home sitting for dogs or cats.

“Ashley is a lovely and caring person. She took excellent care of Blondie Bear and was so kind to my mother. Cannot say enough good things about her and definitely recommend her.”

About: I got my first dog for my 8th birthday and have loved and cared for many ever since! From chihuahuas to Dobermans, I’ve walked, fed, played, and trained so many sizes and kinds. I work for myself so my schedule is very flexible. I love being outside as much as I can, so always available for longer walks for those restless ones. I can easily adjust to any needs or wants your pet may need! Slow and steady walks with lots of sniffs or maybe a fast paced run and a dip in the river to get the energy out.. I can be flexible and do either!

“Stephanie has been absolutely wonderful. Loki (my black lab) loves her and she has gone out of her way to make me feel confident that he is being well looked after when I can't be there :-)”

“I couldn’t have asked for a more-positive, first-timer Rover experience. Toni replied straight away, and then took the time to come over for a “meet and greet” with my kitty Jasper before I left town on quite short notice. He warmed up to her instantly, which is rare for him; he’s pretty shy. She was very communicative, professional, easygoing, friendly, & kept me updated with photos. I felt totally comfortable leaving my fur-baby in her hands and would recommend her services to any cat or dog owner needing a reliable sitter. Thanks again, Toni!”

“Sandra was an excellent dog sitter for our two big dogs. She was very flexible, responsible and sent lots of photos to make us feel secure about them (and our cats) in our absense. I highly recommend her and Luna and Frosty give her five high paws!”

“Jenny was amazing! She checked in promptly daily and sent me photos. All my furbabies, and fishies were well cared for and content when we arrived back home. I felt at ease the entire time we were away. I will definitely be using Jenny and Jonathan again and highly recommend them.”

About: I have watched dogs since I was young, both at my house and at the owners house. I have watched up to 6 dogs at a time 😅 but prefer to keep it to 2-3 total. I have a dog of my own, a long hair-dachshund, that loves to play with all dogs. I make sure the dogs I watch get to play outside each day as I know how important it is for their health and happiness. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I often watch dogs at my house but can drive to check on dogs if it’s nearby. Most weekends I’m outside either hiking or playing the snow and love to take the dogs with me. I have a fenced yard and a dog door for access to the upper deck. During the day I often take a morning walk and evening walk in my backyard ranging from 30 minutes to an hour depending on my work schedule that day. I have tons of dog toys and treats that keep the dogs occupied.

“Angelique did a fantastic job taking care of our four kitties while we were away! She was very responsive, took care of everything that needed to be done, and even trudged through a snowstorm to make sure our fur babies were fed and cared for. We truly appreciate her dedication and would not hesitate to hire her again!”

“Traci is a wonderful sitter and very reliable. She has been an excellent communicator and we feel grateful she is available to watch our kitty Mala. She always sends pictures and plays. We would highly recommend her to other pet parents.”

“Tededa's husband was very receptive to watching my dog, as Teeda was out of town. And her sister was also available, when we arrived early. Good communication and a lovely time for my dog Charlie. Charlie especially enjoyed visiting the chickens in the back yard, though I doubt it was reciprocal :) Thanks for watching the dog so we could attend a wedding in Tahoe.”

About: I've cared for my family dog for the last 2 years. He's a husky mix, so I am aware of the needs of active breeds and I am dedicated to meeting these needs. I also cared for my boss's dog while he was away for 2 months. I stuck to their routine and gave them the best care possible. I am currently working with the California Conservation Corps based out of Meyers. I'm available mostly in the evenings and Fri-Sunday. Wildfire season is coming up so I might need to cancel or reschedule because I'll be on emergency call for these fires. I apologize in advance for any inconveniences that it may cause. I care for pets in a client's home by sticking to instructions and letting dogs be in their comfortable environment. I follow every detail about pet care to a tee.

“Regina is great! She is super attentive and thorough and it’s clear she loves animals. She came to my house to meet my cat before she took care of him, and she instantly bonded with both my cat and my dog. She kept in contact with me all the way up until I returned to my house and sent me daily updates with pictures. Thanks Regina!”

“Gurleen was awesome house and cat sitting for our furbaby Rudy! She was communicative and responsible. She left the house perfectly clean and sent a ton of photos and videos which we wanted. We'd for sure have her back.”

About: I've had pets all my life. I grew up with cats and dogs. My dog Vinny is going to be nine this year. I feel very proud that he is very well behaved and sweet. I can't imagine a life without him. I work full time at a dental office but I am available Monday-Friday to do before work walks 7am-8am and after between 530-8. Weekends are flexible. If your pet needs a friend I can bring my dog Vinny along for walks in the neighborhood and/or the meadow. Or if your pet just needs to be let out and some play time Vinny will come and play in your yard or if needed my back yard.

Adam & Lauren G.
“Leaving my dog, Nugget, in someone else's care is never easy—but Adam made it feel completely natural. From our first meeting, I could tell he truly gets dogs. Nugget warmed up right away, which is rare for him, and that gave me so much peace of mind. While I was away, I received the sweetest updates—photos of Nugget lounging in the sun, playing fetch, and even snuggling up for naps. It was clear he wasn’t just being watched—he was being loved. When I came home, Nugget was happy, calm, and clearly had a great time. I’m so grateful to have found someone I can trust completely. Adam is more than a sitter—he’s part of our extended pack now.”

Evelyn R.
“Evelyn has walked my dogs since last summer every other weekend when I have to travel. She is very reliable and patient with my boys and when she’s available during the week she takes them for four hours on some mornings. She keeps her rates fair and her care is worth every dollar because our senior dog is treated like a king. I have recommended her to two neighbors so far and it’s going well. She is also available to house for our cat when we are all away.”
